I swear I'll never understand Revive haters. They're not all that good, agreed. But questioning their right to be a skateboard company? Questioning their right to put someone's name on their board? They're a team based around a bunch of friends and I feel like long term commitment of a skater to the company and vice versa (Giger, des Autels) and a lifetime of skateboarding (Kyro) are the most important reason for them to turn someone pro. The skill compared to other pros is certainly debatable but I'm just saying that there's no need to hate on them because they're doing things their way.
I'm sure most of it comes from them turning Aaron Kyro pro, because on Braille he doesn't really have his talent hilighted but his video parts are good

keep in mind that John definitely isn't posting his legitimate clips that he'll be using for his Revive part. almost everything he posts on his vlogs are goof around tricks/just park footage. no sane skateboarder would be wasting their legit street clips on a vlog, and John certainly isn't doing that

As skateboarders, I think we should know the blood, sweat, tears, that go into this. John is a perfectionist. What you get in a daily video is better than what you get out of full parts. i havent seen much of his skating but this definitely blows his revive pro introduction vid out of the water. fuck man, after watching this vid in hindsight that vid definitely does this dude a deservice. he looks real confident here and its real eye catching how you couldnt tell what his stance is.
