- May is a busy month on the farm, the sprayer is in almost constant use. Find out here how a modern sprayer works, why I grow winter linseed and how the mustard we sowed a few weeks ago is doing.
That wall is stunning.
Fascinating stuff as ever! Love the wall. Living in Gozo we appreciate a good dry stone wall! 😎👍
I've never coveted another man's wall before.
Given the changing climate, have you looked into Bio Stimulants to improve plant robustness to the extremes we've started to experience?? 🤔
@@adrianhurley3909, what has that to do with walls?
Amazing how Harry makes every subject interesting....great stuff
I think he is marvelous. Such a quality bloke.
I was thinking that myself;an amazing man;
Hello Harry, another brilliant video I just wish they were longer. Your stone wall builder is a true craftsman I can just imagine sitting down with my back against that curve in the wall on a lovely summer’s day with mug of tea in one hand looking across the fields. DEEP JOY!!!!!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀 Phil.
As an agriculturist brought up on the Cotswolds, not far from you, I am pleased to see you extolling the virtues of the Cotswold dry stone wall, and the role of the Agronomist, my Dad was one.
8 people must have been having a bad day before they got here, how can anyone have a problem with this video or Harry. Well explained and a pleasure to watch
That curve in the wall is a thing of beauty !
I enjoy the Farm videos much more than Garage, exception being the short series of Harry's Lambo engine rebuild.
As always that was a real education, way better than anything the television has to offer. Much appreciated Harry keep them coming.
Nice bit of Walling right at the end, well done Mark.
I’m 54 next week and never had the slightest interest or real understanding of farming, until I came across Harry’s Farm. Now I’m hooked. Brilliant 👍
Nice shot of a Buzzard flying toward the drone at 6.51
Another super video, very enjoyable Harry, I save your videos up so that I can watch and enjoy in peace !!
The family took pretty much no interest in farming or what its really all about until H started this channel. Fantastic. Should be shown in schools if you ask me! Great education no matter how old! Even brings a new dimension to when we're green laning on the KTMs.....nice to know where you're riding, looking at etc!
Listening to Harry describing tratter traction “ Think 911” had me falling about. Harry, you are a class act
I’m really enjoying both your channels Harry. I came for the car reviews and stayed for the crop rotation. Don’t change a thing, just do more !
As an ex farmer, very out of touch, and car enthusiast, I really enjoy your informative videos
Amazing dry stone walling ...Respect Mark
Hi Harry, love the video, about explaining the change to Linseed...Iam in my 70's but not a farmer, although my uncle had small farm in North & then West Yorkshire, when I was a lad , I loved to go help out, when we visited ( my parents & i),as we go to our static caravan for our breaks,we drive through north Yorkshire country road & see a lot of farming going on..My work from school, though was a motor mechanic that's why I love your motoring video's as well.. Keep up the great work, fantastic Harry!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Really enjoy these farming videos. The wall is a thing of beauty. Cannot begin to imagine the cost per metre. 🙄
Interesting to hear about the role of the agronomist. Great videos these, I especially enjoy hearing about the economics of it all. Glad I stumbled across the channel.
Like myself I would think most people don't realise the complexity of modern farming , never thought that l would be watching with interest your videos at 11:30 pm whilst in bed , thanks Harry 👍👍
Well done Mark. That wall looks superb.
I was actually talking to a farmer a few weeks, I posed the question about what break crop he was using this year, he seemed suprised I'd ask but told me all about it. always learning!
Can't decide what's better; Harry's Garage or Harry's Farm. Both brilliant. Really enjoyed the chat with Tiff Needell on another channel too. Wonderful stuff.
That dry stone wall is a work of art. Enjoying farm machinery reviews more than supercars nowadays.
I really need one of these sprayers for my patio.
That wall looks fantastic! Love this channel.
The stone wall is beautiful
enjoying your stuff from the north east of Scotland Harry
Harry ur a well rounded man;u got so much knowledge;
Another great vid - thanks Harry. I’ve just looked up what “wheat coming into boot” means. Blimey. Never knew there was so much to know about wheat.

Done a excellent job with the wall. Excellent video
Thanks mightily for allowing outsiders to peep in to what goes on in a working farm. And for sharing your expertise... I am certainly learning a lot from these regular updates.. .

Hi Harry i am feeding my self in a good size garden love it pick what ever i want when ever i want. It is called a stress free life . .

Great episode Harry!! Very very informative
The wall is a masterpiece, and I'm very much loving that Linseed. It really does look a treat. I'm sad the Rapeseed isn't so common this year (I love the smell of a field in full flower) but really pleased for you that the alternative crop is doing so well. Thanks for another great video Harry, stay safe and all the best.
Not even watched it yet..... but a new update from Harry....... I'm over excited at the thought. Thanks Harry..... keep them coming
Was never interested in farming until I started watching harry, he could present paint drying and make it sound interesting how is this guy is not on tv presenting is beyond me
Beautiful job on the wall, that corner is stunning , very talented is Marcus
I can't get enough of this content Harry, keep it coming! Thank you so much for taking the time.
Fantastic Harry ,I’m a right townie , I’ve got an allotment ,I’m passionate about uk produce and uk farmers ,can somebody tell me what will happen to the crop after harvesting (linseed) and you mention pollination ,is done by nature ie bees ; thanks , I’m now eating grass fed meat and gone back to milk delivered in glass bottles from uk source ;took me nearly 70 years to get there and looking for a job on picking for Britain ,eat uk produce in season and then wait for next year, thanks Harry and all uk farmers.
need more like you, good on you mate! Linseed when processed is an oil, often used as a wood finisher for example on cricket bat

Loved that comment..... and then the bit about how he needs to upgrade to a 4x4!!!!
Brilliant. After you explained it, I watched our local farmer spraying crops yesterday and could see exactly how the sprayer works! What a clever bit of kit.
Great video Harry
Love the wall
Superb Harry. Hope you get some rain soon! Thanks for uploading :D

Fantastic as usual - keeps a townie happy.....
Great vid as always..that walll.is a work.of art
On my next UK visit I look forward to seeing doted fields of Linseed among the fields of yellow.
The wall is fantastic, loved the curve. I ran a building company out of Lydney and employed a brick layer who also did dry stone walling, I had a job building a caravan port and changing two gate openings and asked my brickie how long it would take and priced accordingly.
Well it took twice as long, he was worried but as he was doing a great job I told him not to worry. The customer loved the finished wall and assumed I had miss quoted and asked how much I was out of pocket. He went half on the price, but then called me in every time his business needed work, for about 3 years.
The stonework is extremely impressive. Hopefully traditional trades like stone masonry will be preserved for many generations to come. I often wondered, how well do the walls hold up to strong heavy cattle?
Heifer could knock that over, eventually. Jump over even. They tend to stick to their boundaries👌
Thanks for sharing, a really interesting video.
Interesting as ever cheers Harry 👍🚜
Thank you Harry, love the new wall great job
Love the dry stone wall. It's a work of art
Always worth watching and educational...thanks.
Thanks Harry really enjoy your videos, how can anyone give this a 👎down why don’t they give a reason for it, nasty people
Love the videos Harry, keep em coming 👍🏻
The wall is a work of art!

Entertaining and educational as always. This will be my first harvest year of our own wheat. A lot has changed since my agricultural college years in the early 1980s. Learning it all over again. thank you.

Always a fascinating, informative and pleasurable experience, looking forward to the next one. Thanks for posting and stay safe.
