    would be great if you can provide an outline for each scenario, exactly the steps in the desription.

    Have you adjusted the paddle before or it’s factory setting?

    Hi guys! Just yesterday I finally received my Bianca, which I had been waiting for almost a month from sunny Italy to cold and snowy St. Petersburg! Already today I made the first shot, by the way, not very bad. The coffee maker is great! May I ask you a couple of questions about using Bianca here? Before Bianca, by the way, I had Sylvia, who cooked very tasty shots, but Bianca, of course, is a very serious machine. Thank you

      @@LELIT_Official Thanks for the quick response! The question is this: I used to have a Silvia, which does not have a pre-wetting function, and I selected the grind for espresso based on the weight of the bookmark and the spill time of 25-30 seconds, let's say a vst basket for 22 grams, 28 seconds, at the exit 44-45 grams of espresso. How to adjust the grind for espresso on Bianca? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that you first need to adjust the grinding so that without prewetting and without using a water flow regulator, you can also get a result of 22g / 44g in 25-30 seconds, and only then experiment with a water flow regulator. I hope you got what I meant. Sorry for my English, I'm writing through a translator😂

      @alexeyserov2628, So after a year you still prefer the Bianca or the Silvia? Is flow profiling a thing to have for better espresso? I am mainly am interested in the Bianca for flow profiling but yeah if the shot is same as a Silvia I can always go for a less complex machine :) Your thoughts are welcome!

      @@danielfenech Greetings! Profiling is a great thing, the coffee turns out much softer if we allow the pressure to be gradually reduced from 9 to 6 bar. Yes, and Bianca cooks much better than Sylvia, and works 10 times quieter. But, it requires more care, disassembly, lubrication of the group, but this is elementary. I am very pleased with her👌

    2:19 I don't get it... so for the extraction on the right, how was there water flow when the paddle was completely shut off? Is there water flow even with the paddle closed?

    • @LELIT_Official
      @LELIT_Official  4 года назад +1

      With these settings, when the paddle is completely turned to the left, the flow is totally closed.

      @@LELIT_Official I've moved the paddle completely to the left with manual preinfusion before the lever was lifted up and the pressure still raised to 10 bars or so. Am I doing something wrong?

    Sorry guys. There needs to be a commentary about how the changing variables affect the cup flavor. With the split screen you can’t really see what’s going on.

    Hi!
    VST vs IMS?
    Do I need to change the shower screen with the one from IMS? Is it recommended to reduce the water flow?
    Can the paddle be adjusted for a longer run? but shorter? for a double espresso what is the best dosing? 16g 18g, more?

    • @LELIT_Official
      @LELIT_Official  4 года назад

      Hi, we have tested only some of the IMS filters, we cannot confirm the VST on Bianca.

    Hmm i think there is quite some channeling happening on the right side at 3:12

    • @LELIT_Official
      @LELIT_Official  5 лет назад +1

      Hi! It's correct. This video has been made to show the reaction of the coffee puck under different extraction conditions. To make this test valid, the unique parameter that must vary is the water coming from the group head. As you can see, the reached maximum pressures are very different. Please read the explanation at 2:09. Extractions with extra-fine coffee are possible thanks to a reduced flow. Thank you!
