- Presenting the impressive Bianca from Lelit in Italy. This machine features a rotary pump, dual boilers, temperature control and flow profiling. To demonstrate the machine we discuss the features and make several sets of drinks.
Slawek: your presentations are the very best I have seen. Thank you for being so clear, making purposeful demonstrations, and also answering questions here on YT. This is amazing, and I look forward to obtaining my very next machine and supplies from you soon. Best wishes. -CG
Fanastic video! Really appreciated all of the detail and just love the machine, great work!
Awesome espresso machine,great video , thanks .☕
Great review fun and informative, looks like a lot of fun to use, thank you
Definetely the best review i've found on youtube about this Lelit. Thanks a lot for your work and for your passion!
Beautiful shots
Great video! Thank you for sharing this!
lovely machine
Great video!
Can you use the "Smart Espresso Profiler" with the Bianca? Thanks.
Nice tutorial video, thanks for sharing. Have 1-question. As it is 2-boilers with total 2800watt (boiler & steam together), if I do one by one step (brewing first later steaming the milk), will this machine take only 1400watt ?
Can you include the product link, please? Hope that RUclips will allow this.
Thanks for the video. I’m torn between this and the ECM Synchronika. Definitely want flow control but happy to upgrade the ECM. I’m from UK and can’t find ECM with FC already fitted.
What did you go for in the end? I'm now torn between the two...I prefer the joystick style steam knob on the ECM and I know you can upgrade to the flow control...like that the Bianca comes with a bottomless that is a nice touch
@@SanMartan ECM is built to a better standard, but they're both good machines.
hello I have a LELIT PL62S E61 with a vibration pump is what I can install the flow control kit and manometer thank you
Great interview! Just a question, can the dual boiler machines usually be powered-on with separate switches to each boiler?
It would be very useful when we just need heat the brewery boiler to brew the coffee and hot water for an americano, while turn on both boilers only when making latte.
yes u can turn the steam/hotwater boiler off by pushing the minus button
Good afternoon, can this machine work in a small cafe with 100 cups a day?
Would you recommend it for small commercial purposes (like a small kiosk) ?
Is there any similar patent/mod for a machine with the Bezzera Heated Group (not E61)?
Not currently. The flow restrictor on the bz group is located in a different location so it's not something that can be easily retrofitted. A new machine would have to be designed with this
Hi what settings do you have with paddle shit, pre on/off, soft infusion on/off etc or does the paddle override, thanks
It would be useful to know how the flavour was affected with each of these extractions.
Hi, nice review. Does he machine come with the nasty pictographs?
Hi Slawek. I have the possibility to get a really nice deal on a new Lelit Bianca V2 (yes, the prior version) and I would like to know if you consider it a quality machine, like Profitec or whether there is a distinct quality difference?
Hi Slavic, I saw that you carry both Lelit Bianca and the ECM Syncronika. Since both pretty much has the same features which one would you recommend?
Hi, I would give the edge to the ECM based on build quality but if you add the flow control it costs 30% more than the Bianca and if you want the wood then that also adds to the price.
Im in a toss up between this and the Profetek 700...what does one give up by going with the Lelit Bianca instead of the 700? On paper the Bianca looks a more feature rich machine, especially with the ability to profile out of the box. But interested in what the Hive mind thinks.
I been studying these machines too. I decided the Bianca is the one to get. I'm only trying to convince myself to spend the 3K.

Ιs it really so quiet? thanks.
Does the pid preinfusion overwrite the flow of the manual flow control? Not sure I understand what the pid preinfusion does when there is a manual flow control?
Pre Infusion activitates the pump for a short burst but the flow is still regulated using the flow control device. For example, if it was fully closed you wouldn't get any water flowing through. Normally this type of preinfusion is set to a short amount of time, just to wet the coffee a little to allow the puck to swell before subjecting it to the full extraction. With the flow control you can restrict the flow and soften the preinfusion and make it much longer .
@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada got it! thanks
What about the material? The lelit machines i know have very thin material, so it looked pretty cheap. But this machine looks much better. Well build?
Not as well built as other Profitec Pro 700 or ECM Synchronika.
Hi, thanks for the video. Is it normal for the grouphead pressure gauge to go to 8 bar then dip to 7.5 bar and then continue to build pressure to either 8 or 9 bar? Thanks.
This could be related to your flow setting or your grind. The best way to test is with a blind basket. A blind basket should have consistent pressure because it is solid. If you are getting consistent results with a blind the issue is likely the way the coffee is ground and/or distributed
@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada - thanks so much for your help. Yup the blind filter works fine, no pressure dip at all. I will fuss with my Mazzer Mini and ser if I can eliminate the pressure dip. It only dips at the very beginning of the extraction while it is building up pressure. THANK YOU!!!!
@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada - does the Mazzer need time to settle down? It is less than two months old and under 200 grinds
@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada - hey I just discovered something. When I turn on the preinfusion on the PID, there is absolutely no dips whatsoever. Sorry I am bothering you so much!
@@glichasasha750 yes, there is a break in period for burrs. As your grinder goes through more coffee it will become more consistent. This is entirely normal
Perhaps make sure entire machine is in the picture when using the paddle.
What do You think about the Build Quality of the machine?
Hi, it's actually quite nice, I like the rounded edges and over all I think the machine is well made
Hello Martin, the Bianca has standard components from the BG61-market - so this is the same quality compared to other 61s. The sheet is a little thinner compared to ECM or Bezzera but thick enough for solid feeling. You'll get an awesome machine with lot of accessories for a very attractive price!
@@LowsHand Thx for your assessment!
That was no pre-infusion you did. When you turn the lever all the way to the left from the start, you close of the water to the group head. In that case no pre-infusion happens at all (the pressure gauge never rising is clear indication that water never reaches the puck). You need to start with an open lever, allow some pressure build-up (2 bars) and then turn it off for the desired pre-infusion time before opening again for extraction.
You are correct that when the flow restrictor is fully closed that no water goes through. If you move it slightly counter clockwise you do begin opening it. It is possible to preinfuse at much less than 2 bars. Are you suggesting stopping the pump entirely and then resuming? That's a technique that I haven't experimented with but I will give it a try
@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada - I'm owning the Bianca since beginning of this year and loving it. Just try as Mathias explained - it works perfect! Keep in mind : With setup from manufacturing the paddle is slightly open in closed position - if you like you can reajust the paddle...
@@LowsHand I was watching a different video, and I thought it said it was also possible to programme a pre-infusion through the PID/Control centre, without manually using the paddle. Is that right?
@@wytstriped I don't think E61 machines do that, there's a quick automatic built in pre-infusion (pressure builds up to about 4 bars for a second or two before ramping up normally) in many E61 machines but usually with flow control they install a stiffer spring in the bottom part which prevents that from happening so you get more manual control.
@@wytstriped the v3 version does this
O
Dude, you should really learn, what pour-over coffee is. It is the exact opposite of espresso. What you mean is tank operated.
i think its not the perfect devices. for get way more controll take a look at the decent.
