I hope Honda does not listen to you. I love the interior, it is perfect, minimalist while still have every feature I actually care about. The interior is designed to be more of like a Blade Runner styling than the posh luxury style that you are craving, stay away. Also, I hope that if they ever do start to lift it, change the differentials whatever, that they keep this design going. I bought this specifically because it is the best on-road SUV I drove, the 20% of the time I am out camping, or traveling through sand, snow or mud, it can handle all that perfectly. I do not care to go climb rocks and I am pretty sure all those wranglers in my neighborhood never climb rocks either.
I honestly don't understand why there are rear seat reminders. If you can't remember you have a passenger in your backseat, the problem is more psychological than tech driven.
2022 Honda Passport exterior design is good, room for improvement ... Same with interior ... It's a Honda so should still do well in the marketplace ... Slainte' ! Cheers !
Great SUV in a world where 98% of SUV’s sold never see ‘off-road.’ And the closest SUV’s do see off-road is the home driveway. The Passport Trail gives a little bit of both successfully. Honda is genius.
@@kwaseb I own a 2020 Honda Elite. It did get a mid cycle refresh for 2019, but also kept alot of the same interior looks from the 2016 model. The infotainment sysyem was a great upgrade though, it is very nice. 😊 It still has no 360 camera or forward facing camera thought, it would of been nice to have the option for one. Maybe it will be available for the 2023 model. Also would of liked if the instrument panel was more customizable, as mentioned in the review. It is a bit outdated. That's pretty much it. Honda does not seem to upgrade that often, still a nice SUV though. As far as the Passport, yes, adding real skid plates would compliment the name TrailSport. Hopefully Honda will not wait a long time to add them.
For the price you can't go wrong. If they keep the same engine and pair it with the ten speed from Acura MDX, I say wait till next gen. But who knows, they may keep the garbage ZF nine speed and pair for a turbo four.
This 2022 Honda passport trailsport looks stylish as similar to the 2024 model here Honda has changed harmoniously in 2024 with the added real skip plate
Big news is the cup holder redesign. Let’s focus on that so we can ignore nothing has improved for the higher price. I power output is ridiculously low for the bad gas mileage you get
This guy kinda complains a bit...but he's a lot better than Chris Wardlaw. I wonder if the next Passport is also going to be a shortened Pilot. Which means it also makes my shortlist because that new Pilot is nice.

At least this is sporty to drive. Honda is way ahead of the game in space and practicality and suspension tuning and polish.

Manufacturers are too worried with technology💯

Once one adds a lift kit etc like you desire then the MPG will go to 12 and be over 60gs ! NO its fine as it is for the average buyer

Higher ground clearance and bigger tires would’ve been nicer
Totally agree with your assessment… don’t just put badges on it… make it more capable! More real as you say !
Great, honest review Clifford 👏. Honda needs to watch this review. They make great vehicles, but they sure take their time updating them.
What is it missing for its segment?

You are absolutely right!!

Love my ZF9 tranny in 2022 Trailsport smooth as butter so far 1200 miles thank you very much.
I’ve got the passport with the ZF, wife drives the RDX with the 10 speed…the 10 speed is far and away better.
What did you think about wind and road noise?

How about term leatherette for the vinyl seats they put on Them and charge more for.

Great review.

What you get from Honda is not fix or repair daily (ford)
Just give me skid plates, tow hitch standard, better camera views and better tires.
More feature, more stylish means more maintenance😅.Thanks for review though
Meh. What I really want to see is an updated Honda Element.
make it rear wheel drive base
It would be a Donky wagon.
Same old same old Honda just more expensive
If the 2023 offers little change, it will be a loser. Time waits for no one.
I would say the black plastic accent below the headlights is the actual Mustache. But ok 👍 😊
