- The Passport Trailsport is Honda's new hiking boot with a sherpa lining. Sure, you could hike with it, but will you actually? Trust us, we know you're only wearing those boots to the mall.

I own a Honda Passport Trailsport and love it!
Are the seats comfortable?
@@JJ-xl2zu . Yes!
Just picked mine up Saturday...very pleased👍🏻🤘🏻
@@JJ-xl2zuI melt into mine.
Love the organic review content that isn’t saying vague statements over and over
Agreed!! Such a fresh review🎉
Love my Passport Trailsport. Ain’t nothing like a CRV in my opinion… except for the beehive grille. I traded my CRV for it. I’m a bit tall. I can extend my legs all the way while I’m driving. No other car I owned was I able to do that in.
Now that Honda introduced a new Pilot, I’m waiting for the Passport TrailSport. I hope they keep the V6. PHEV or hybrid would be even better!
Why does DM reviewer's voice sound like TheTopher? Are they the same guy?
Maybe missing a couple of options but does have a lighted glovebox!
Even the GMC Acadia Denali doesn’t have one or at least didn’t used to.
I’d like to see the comparisons in future reviews if possible, thanks
Love their current powertrain for these. My Family owns a 16 Pilot and as nice as the engine is, the six speed is garbage and the seats are so rock hard that I can't drive an hour without my butt getting sore. However the newer seats seem better. Never driven the 9 speed but it seems miles better.
However for that car being 6 years old already, It feels new still. No creaks or rattles living down a dirt road. Excellent build quality.
we had a rental passport a while back, its a fine car but doesn't really do much for me. looking forward to the new model with Honda's current design and interiors.
It has rear seat window shades, and a spare (not full size one) instead of a can of air😊.
The intro was hilarious! Reminded me of Roman from TFL trying to act like a teenager making TikToks..😆
I had a 2021 Elite version of this, which I replaced with a 2022 Mercedes E450 All-Terrain Wagon, but missed the space of the Passport and added a 2024 Trailsport Passport to the stable. Love this car and the big tall space it offers.
Excellent review. It's a good winter car until the aluminum underneath (lower control arms, knuckle, etc.) begin to rot. Precautions are necessary. The powertrain and AWD system are the highlights, and the main reason to buy IMHO.
Civic Trailsport 😂
this or chevy blazer RS?
These reviews are so excellent! Keep ‘em coming.
Ive owned a 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E trim (loaded) since beginning of this year. The engine and transmission is nice if you are winding it out for some spirited driving, but for all other applications it’s quite annoying. I find there to be no power down low, it wants to be reved out but the 9 speed makes it constantly shift into a higher gear. Also when you are on the highway and wanting power to pretty much go anywhere (not even to pass) you are dropping three gears quite slowly. Coming from a Subaru outback with the 3.6R and 5EAT which felt like it was always in the right gear, this feels like it is never in the right gear that I want. I’m averaging 19mpg so I am not saving any money on gas either. Hoping to switch to a hybrid AWD ford maverick or hybrid Ridgeline ASAP
Just how sporty is this Passport Trailsport ? 😉
lowercase sport.
@@DailyMotor ok
I mean, I’m sure it’s bolted together well with high quality parts… (insert clever remark on mundane styling).
That doesn't look like a full Size spare.
When will Bose make its way into the Passport?
Likely in 2023
@@DailyMotor If the Passport or Accord get decent Bose systems then one of them will be my next car!
Give the Next gen Pilot the looks of the CRV with a 9 speed and I will buy it
I think Honda is moving away from ZF 9-speed and moving to their in-house 10-speed.
I wish Honda would at a center armrest in the Passport , Pilot and Ridgeline !
Why? It has two individual armrests on the front seats.
Your wish has been granted. Look for the '24 updates. Very few overall but the arm rest is one of them!
CVT not a 'real' transmission?
You're not knowing what a transmission is, or not capable /unwilling to learn how to use a CVT.
Way overpriced.
Have you seen car prices lately?
I feel sorry for the person that buys that Trailsport you guys almost ruined. High speeds, squealing tires etc. That why I'll never buy a demo because guys like you dont care since its not your car. Unsubscribed
Lol, high speeds and squealing tires don't hurt the car. Tires will be replaced before it's put up for sale. They are doing thorough test drives.
It's a press car.
My guy it's literally a dedicated car for journalists to test everything, including high speed performance
Another person just looking to be angry. How original
Press cars get crushed. They don’t get sold.
