Thank you so much for Tip #9, the Gas Cap Funnel. My wife ran out of gas the other day and we had a heck of a time getting it filled up enough -- the soft plastic nozzle on the gas can couldn't keep the cap open. I just checked my manual and sure enough, it did include a funnel... I just didn't realize at the time it had one.
Hey Justin….I found your tip to unlock all doors when grabbing the driver handle to be incorrect. Your sequence: Settings Vehicle Door Setup Keyless & Remote Unlock Mode Select ALL DOORS That seems to be the setup for pressing the Unlock button the remote for one door or all doors. Here was my successful sequence for unlocking ALL doors when grabbing the driver’s door: Settings Vehicle Keyless Access Setup Door Unlock Mode ALL DOORS This is what worked on my 2022 Passport.
I discovered that the brights will automatically come on and off when driving at night on a poorly lit road. It will detect oncoming cars (I assume by detecting the headlights) and turn off the brights. Works really well.
The automatic head lights will switch to brights when there is no oncoming traffic but not until you reach 45mph. That is the point at which you start overdriving the dims.
Excellent stuff! I just picked up a nice white one....traded in the big gas guzzling pick up..... this is like a luxury vehicle compared to my 2017 ( yes, only 5 years old), Tundra....( great truck though). I needed to hear about the rear view mirror thing.... I DEFINITELY DONT want them moving when I put it in reverse! And I kill the OFF-IDLE thing immediately after I start it up! Thanks Brother!
I got one you never covered. The cruise control has two modes. If you hold the lane distance button (I Think) it will switch between manual cruise control and adaptive cruise control.
I really don't care if I can roll my windows down or open the moon roof when I'm inside my house. What I really would like is to when it's rainy and miserable out and I forgot to roll up my windows, is to press the FOB and roll up my windows when it's too snotty to go outside and do it. To me it's a no-brainer.
I got a 2020 P had it 4 two years, door was set up 2 driver only, annoying as F. got family of 4 and really didn't have time to play and read all the settings, didn't know that was an option until now. Knew all other stuff but missed all doors unlock.. Great video! Awesome energy/attitude. Did U work 4 a car dealership? Liked and subbed.
Does the 2022 have Wireless Apple Car Play/Android Auto? I'm annoyed with always having to plug/unplug my phone each & every time I enter & leave my vehicle, especially since there's already a wireless charging pad right next to the USB port.
so that option about the amber light for fuel economy? what does that mean exactly? also, can you tell me if the econ button really helps with MPG's from the standard what is listed? will it improve the 19/25
I haven't seen any increase and it bogs down the vehicle so much I have to use the paddle shifters. I leave it off and press the pos stop/start delete every time.
re: Tip 6, I uploaded a photo, initially was at Full Screen then when I swapped that photo for another, it resized the picture (and all uploaded pics) to half the size, not filling up the screen.... no more full screen photo's. Any idea on a fix to full screen?
Is there anything you can do for the headlights? I do not like the horizon line where eye level up it is totally blacked out and it shines more horizontal than up ahead. Does anyone know what I am talking about?????
@@MaineReef thank you for your comment . I was looking for other Suvs but I always come back with the honda passport. I want to start doing outdoor activities and the honda passport seems perfect for that. I' am also looking for suvs that works well in snow.
@@milaricarpenter2548 no test in the snow but I'm a power guy. These are not lacking in anyway. I test drove an elite and trail sport. I thought the trail sport was a better ride. Also really fell in love with the interior.
Hi... I posted a comment already but have one just for you! The Trail Sport is trying to be something it’s NOT..... and that is a true off road vehicle. The OE 18” tires on it are a poor choice for everyday driving! I am even replacing the OE 20” Continental “ all-season”( say-NO SEASON ) tires with high performance Pirelli’s. Much better performance and even better mileage. Come Winter I am putting on Blizzaks! Anyway.... good luck.... the more I drive it the more I am liking it!
How can you keep your rear view mirrors in the position you have positioned them. Each time I get in car I have ro readjust them to where I want them; same position every time.
Man, I thought only my door would unlock and that was it, never knew it was possible to program it, I love this SUV!
Blows my mind that people don’t read the manual or go through all the settings to see what’s possible

You do have the ability to turn the chirp off when locking and unlocking doors. I believe it's under vehicle settings, then keyless entry.

how do you close the drivers interface ? unable to exit from it. Thank-you for your help
Both side mirrors can flip down at same time, that’s what mine does, not sure why, will have to look into it.
