My favorite book this year has been Bella's Gift. It was written by Rick and Karen Santorum about their daughter, Bella. Bella has Trisomy 18, which is a life-limiting condition. We were blessed with our own precious baby with Trisomy 18 in November of last year: Her name is Charis and she is our 12th child. She is such a gift to our family. The book Bella's Gift was a tremendous encouragement to us during our three month stay in the NICU....some of the hardest days we've ever lived. Charis is now nine months old, and she is an absolute treasure. I highly recommend Bella's Gift to everyone. Every life has value and every life is worth fighting for!

I don't have time to read much. In the evenings, I tend to watch RUclips videos or grade papers and make sure I have everything ready for the next day. I wanted to mention to you Homeschool Planet. I'm a mom of 8 children at home and my daughter just graduated HS and I have homeschooled her since Kindergarten and I've never heard of it. But I started using it last year and LOVE it!! Instead of planning out your year, you could go in and do it like you currently do it by adding what you actually did for the day. The good thing about it is it can track your hours for you, keep up the grades, etc. I love it. Check it out when you get a few minutes.

I decided to pull a dusty book off the shelf to refresh my brain on the ways children learn and their smarts. It's called 8 Great Smarts by Kathy Koch. So good we have so many types of learners. It's helping me give grace and understanding to each child. Grateful for the many resources that encourage us as we stumble our way through the journey of parenting. I am now reading ‘The Size of Your Dreams’. I have been a book lover ever since but seemed to have lost it during motherhood. Since, I’ll be homeschooling this year. Planning on reading up again especially since we will be doing a lot of reading.

I'm reading mother culture currently and I am loving it. I'd have to say it's one of my favorites.

Right now I’m reading heal your headache and am really enjoying it. I’ve struggled with daily migraines for almost 20 years and I’m excited to see if this gives me some insight

Best planning video I’ve watched that goes along with my style. So thank you! I am currently reading my nursing school textbooks lol. Not as exciting as they sound. But a couple of my kids have favorites right now. My daughter is loving all the Ramona Quimby’s. And my son is burning though the I Survived serious.

Currently reading Parenting Scripts. And Homeschool Basics. And I have yours that I need to finally read. I’m trying to force myself to sit and read for a few minutes during the day.

My all time favorite is A thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini! And I love the loop system! Thank you for sharing this!
