In my heart I am very organized. I love coming up with systems and setting them up, but it's the follow through and maintaining them with five kids that I struggle with.

I love to organize and be organized. I passed this trait down to my 9year old. One of her favorite things to do is organizing area around the house or even helping her teachers in the classroom.
I WAS organized and then I had lots of littles in a short period of time! 😂 I am a mix too...pretty organized on some things and frantic on others! Ha!
I’m a weirdo! 🤣🤣🤣 Totally free spirited and in general not a planner, but homeschooling and having a family household to manage is teaching me to plan more.
I am a pile person.....it looks disorganized a d messy, but I know where everything is. I have been this way forever.
I am such an organization nerd!!! So much so my Hubby buys my office supplies and containers for almost every holiday. I LOVE IT!!
Love organization. I could do it in my sleep. Chaos makes me crazy. I like undated planers. I fill in each lesson then I put a date in when we do it. Easy! No missing a day, no white out, just a great plan.
I LOVE to organize and plan and it truly brings me peace but it just finding the time to get it all accomplished!

I need and love organzation, but get distracted too fast with some other task. Been doing To Do lists for the diffrent areas and is working wonderful! Same as having a place for everything and everything in his place.

I am a pretty organized person and thrive when I am able to organize each area of my life, even the not so easy baby/toddler needs, it's just so much more smoothe over all when I am able to put a little effort into organizing. As we speak I am about to schedule our meals on a calendar for a week, just so everyone knows what's going on and I can better tackle that as well. I'm also a SAH homeschooling momma, of 3. So any organization really helps.

I’m semi organized! I have been trying harder over the years as we add more kids to organize more. As you know the more kids you have the more organization is necessary!!

I have became more organized, the more kids I have. I'm about to have our fourth anytime now and my oldest is turning 4 next month. To get things done, I have to be organized. iv noticed that the more organized iam, my kids and husband are happier. I get huge satisfaction from organizing and planning my days.
This will be my 1st year homeschooling. I’ve become more organized then what I was before starting school. Not only with school but daily living... But it’s still a journey... I love my planner for homeschool!

I LOVE how you mentioned you break things up by quarter! I've been homeschooling a long time and while I dont ever pre-schedule anything out for the year (because like you said, things change), I've been needing to be slightly more structured as my kids get older, otherwise we just dont get through what we plan for at the beginning of the year. Definitely going to try to do it by quarter this year. We also only school 4 days a week! I do consider myself a pretty organized person and find that if I can prepare and organize well before the school year starts, it runs better for everyone. I also work from home, so I need to be more organized. Working on it all now before our homeschool starts in september :)
I love the idea of organization and the fruits of it. Yet I love to be spontaneous. I usually start off very organized but I’m usually not consistent resulting in a chaotic mess. The good thing is I do get back on my feet and get it back together.
I love the idea of being organized but the actual execution, especially during the middle of the school year, can be lacking!

I feel that I am both. I organized things my way (so it might not be the super neat stacked piles or something) but I know where everything is.
I love organization and try to be organized. It’s gotten harder the more kids we add to our family. I’ve tried to give myself grace and keep things organized that’s most important and allow grace for the rest :)
I am a bit of both! I thrive on organization and love to organize things wherever I am (school, work, home, etc). However, I can neglect to tidy things up when I am busy. But this “messy” side of me does not occlude the organization! For instance, you can have a clean room that is disorganized (things stowed away randomly with no system or order) and a messy room that is organized (some clothes need to be picked up, but once they are they will be folded neatly into categorized drawers/bins)
I love school supplies, planners and all that fun stuff!! Target is awesome for those things. I have to be organized being in nursing school and a single mom! Love your channel ❤️

Definitely an organized person! I love using planners, containers, baskets, etc. to keep everything in its place, but lately I've been slacking and letting things pile up.

I would know around about where things were and waited too long to sort and dispose of things like mail. Homeschooling has forced me to be more organized at home. It feels good to have things more together at home.

I am pretty organized! I use my Erin condren planner daily (I use stickers, it’s like planning and scrapbooking combined). I don’t love cleaning but give me an organizational project and I can do it for hours without getting bored. Just liked your fb page, thanks for another awesome giveaway!

Although I only have 1 child almost 5 year old daughter and I don't home school my child or nor plan on doing it I still get a lot of tips of organization from you. I am trying to get better organized(I am all over the place most of the time) specially with my child starting pre school this year and next year she goes to kinder and I want to have a good organization structure and resource books as well for her. Even though I go to school myself (working on my Masters) and planning on going to work in a couple of years, I want to help my daughter to thrive in life and be there for her. I love your idea of having a general idea of working on certain subjects on certain days and just writing down what you actually accomplished... and not feeling like you "failed" when you don't do everything! I have been using a checklist and constantly am moving around assignments on my weekly chart- this will help me (I hope).
I am organized in many areas of my life but not all. I am trying to organize my children's homeschool room but because we just started this journey, it is a work in progress.
I absolutely need to keep organized. Otherwise I get so overwhelmed and don’t know where to start! So I try and keep things as organized as possible.
For you “descents” unit - Romeo Dallaire would be a great figure to look at from recent history (1990s). He was a in charge of a UN peacekeeping mission during the Rwandan Genocide and stayed with his team after all other countries pulled out their peacekeepers/troops. The subject is obviously very dark but I’m sure if you read up on it yourself first he would be a great person to research for the older girls.
It's taken me a while and a lot of discipline, but now I'd say I'm an organized person. Everything has a place in my home. I like living this way better than when I had everything cluttered.
I'm just like you Angela! I tow the line with being organized. At work I am very particular and very organized but at home eh.. not so much. I am actually working on purging things at home and getting organized!
I teach first grade and I love labeling and organizing my boxes and containers at school. Everything has a label and everything has a place. It makes things so much easier for my students. My craft room at in own home however...could use a lot more organizing! :)

I have hopes, dreams & aspirations to be very organized & love all the fun & beautiful planner supplies, but honestly I fail miserably at actually utilizing them consistently. My focus word this year is Consistency. I'm crossing my fingers & toes that I can accomplish & implement it this year...
I’m like you. I’m super organized about a lot of things. I think things I enjoy. Things I don’t necessarily enjoy I tend to procrastinate which leads to unorganization.
In my head, I am organized obsessed! But in reality I can't seem to pull it together and when I do my kiddos are fantastic little helpers at making sure we stay in a state of chaos 😅😅😅

I am not organized at all😐 Well, maybe a little...but not enough. Not where I would like to be with it. This will be my first year homeschooling our children. So I’m kinda nervous about how to choose curriculum, setting up a home school space in our house...but I am also very excited and God has given me peace about this decision...especially since my husband has agreed for me to do so. I love your channel Angela, and have learned so much! You are amazing at what you do 😊
I can't start the school year without feeling totally "set" by organizing and planning out the year, but then I use pencil or (my new favorite) erasable pens so that when things change I can go with the flow. Because without flexibility, all the organization goes in the trash! And I can't keep my home organized for the life of me. :) Having 6 kids might have something to do with that, but it's been this way my whole life so I can't blame them.
I have all of the best intentions to get organized. I buy all of the things (planners, highlighters, apps, etc) and go into it with 100% and then a few months in I start writing things down on random pieces of paper and setting lots of alarms and alerts. Kind of a beautiful chaos situation by the end.
I'm organized about some things. Our homeschool "stuff", my planner, my craft stuff are definitely my most be and stay organized things!
As much as I wish I was organized, and drool over all the pics of people with crazy organized homeschool rooms, I live "on the fly". Homeschool By the Seat of Your Pants should be my name.
I thrive off being organized!! It allows me to clear my mind and get stuff done!
I am very organized in certain areas of my life and not super organized in others. My email inbox is a mess. Mail type paper work, is a mess. However, I have mostly good systems otherwise. Kid stuff I tend to be quite organized with because otherwise life would be chaos. I also find the key to organization is minimalism. Having to keep less stuff organized is much easier than having to keep up with a bunch of stuff. :)

Have you seen Not Consumed's Homeschool Planner? It is not a weekly planner but helps you plan out the whole year (goals/visions, how many days a week do you need to do each subject, etc.) plus it has monthly tabs. I LOVE it!
Well, I attempt to be organized, but sometimes my 5 kiddos just make that a challenge at times, so I just let things go! Yes, I am like you- organized with some things and not with others! 😉 And as always, thank you for being such an inspiration to us homeschooling mamas! 🙏🏽
I love *organizing* - I am not good at staying *organized*. I buy all the things - bins, boxes, baskets - and loving arrange, label, and place. Then....life. I don't get things put away, and I start some new category of things that doesn't fit in the existing system and it gets shoved somewhere random,.... it's a thing. But I really, really try!

I am either an OCD planning freak or things are out of control but I always know where everything is. The only exception is the books. My husband is in charge of our library.

I was a very organized person. Then we moved, started remodeling a house and got matched for adoption in the last 6 months! Life has definitely changed, and I'm trying to find my way back to organization for us!

I have the best intentions of being organized. I take the time to organize, plan etc and it all falls apart very quickly. I am ALWAYS looking for ways to try and be more organized especially as I prepare to be a momma of 2!
For the most part I am an organized person. I like my planners. I like my lists. But I can easily drop it all to go have fun with the kiddos or do something sour of the moment.
