I have to start my day with some quiet time with Jesus, and throw in a quick workout to get my brain up and going. And once the weather is cool I love a cozy cup of coffee. "Farm anatomy" is my little guys favorite book, he loves all the machinery and animals. I love your mama morning basket, what a great idea!
A cup of coffee and time by myself is what I need for a really good morning. I usually dont get the time by myself that I want in this season of life. When I do it's pure bliss.
I’m not in the right “head space” to start the day without COFFEE ☕️ and my bible reading/listening. If I can squeeze in a workout, shower and get myself dressed in something nice, I feel fully prepared to “Mom”.
Lots of water, joyful movement, quiet time and a little make up. I like to feel like I'm going to work and try to present myself tidy, it makes me feel my best.
Thank you for taking the time to do this even though you are so busy with moving!!! I have been watching these every year but this is my 1st year to homeschool in 6 years!!!!!! I’m so excited to try morning baskets 🧺 and I just ordered the coping skills book! THANK YOU PS. My morning must have is my Premier Protein Café Latte, GAME CHANGER!
I have followed you for sometime now; but as we start our new family adventure in homeschooling; you are a breathe of fresh air, encouragement and full of great resources! Thanks for helping me empty my coffee cup in one sitting today! Blessings on your day! Can't wait to see more of the farm!
I find it extremely Important to start my day with a Prayer of Gratitude. At Times when I am feeling my worst then I always remind myself: The Lord Blessed me to see a Brand New Day and that means that He still has a plan for my life and He is not done writing my story yet, so I need to trust the process.
Well, when I don’t have my kids attached to me right away, I like to take it slow. I enjoy putting on my diffuser, getting the right calming music going so as the kids wake up, we’re in a more grateful mood! Wish you the best and continued safety during this time!
The first thing I need in the morning, even before coffee, is five minutes alone with God. I need and like to remind myself all the things I’m grateful for.
My best mornings start with coffee and a text from my best friends. We have gotten in the habit of sharing a worship song, scripture, or video to encourage each other to keep our focus on Jesus. It’s been such a blessing. ☺️
I’m not a home school mum, but I love this concept so much! Our kids are heading back to school on the 7th September (We’re in the UK) and I’m going to introduce the idea of an ‘after school basket’ this year. Time to relax, unwind and talk about our day, which also stops them from automatically wanting to sit in-front of the TV like zombies!
I need a hot cup of coffee, snuggles from any of my 5 kids, and a list of top priorities for the day to get going in the morning. I love your morning basket ideas!
Like a lot of other mamas here, I need “a little coffee and a whole lot of Jesus” in the mornings. 🥰 My day goes so much better if I start my day with prayer, a little Bible reading or devotional, and a cup of coffee. Also I try to wake up early enough to get in a quick workout and shower before the kids wake up.
Morning Baskets make me happy💕 I’m a wake up slowly & peacefully type of person...I’ll either read a devotional or journal & a quick workout. Followed by a large glass of water...& then I’m ready for everyone to bombard me & to give myself to the day 💕📚...oh and always some coffee during our morning basket-it just makes that time cozy💕
I try to exercise in the morning. Helps me wake up, have a little time to myself, and keeps me mentally healthy. Helps with patience throughout the day too
I am a homeschool mom of four and this will be my seventh year homeschooling !! I still appreciate your tips and encouragement as we have gone from mostly independent studies to more core homeschooling to adapt to our growing family. Your children are all so precious! Fostering and adoption has always been close to our 💕 May God continue to bless you and your family as you make this exciting move!!!😘 Thanks for your inspiration!!!
Lately I’ve found going on a walk around my neighborhood first thing every morning is the best way to wake myself up and get my mind ready to face the day.
It really helps if I'm able to get up before my kids. That bit of quiet time to get your headspace right and spend some time with the Lord is the Best!❤️
Every morning I have a cup coffee while reading my bible and after that Tidy up and shower before we start school. My goal for this year is to get up before my child so I can be in the right head space for teaching but every momma needs to take of themselves first .
Making my bed helps me get up and get going. I also like to get dressed and ready for the day so I have no excuses. Love all your videos! Thank you for what you do. We just moved from out of state, homeschooling for the 1st time, and are now living with my parents (with our 4 kids) while we remodel our first house. I feel like we are going through all this together with you.
I gotta have my coffee ASAP! 🤪 We LOVE our morning basket which includes our Bible study, a couple of read alouds, and a book of poetry. I always have my personal time early on the front porch with my coffee before the kids get up...it’s become my favorite part of the day. I used to dread it, but now that I start with my Bible and gratitude journal, it’s the BEST!
I was homeschooled growing up and it prepared me so well for adulthood! My mom always started her day with coffee, and as we started drinking coffee, the kids all started joining her. I start my day with coffee and it is largely because of my mom.
I need a cup of coffee ☕️ and quiet time for myself, reading and getting ready for the day before my son wakes up.. Thank you for sharing your morning basket..
My best mornings are when I meditate, enjoy some stretches and quiet time before my COFFEE. I need my mental space to be strong and ready for a new day 🙏🏽 ❤️
First thing in the morning I love to have time to study scripture and exercise before the kids get up. It gives me time to take care of my self physically and spiritually before taking care of their needs!
This is something I want to develop. I had been doing pretty good at the beginning of this last school year. I’m not sure when I stopped with a good morning routine. I do know that starting my day before the kids are awake was a fantastic way to begin. It gave me a chance to collect myself, focus on what is truly important and not begin my day in react mode. I felt like I was much more intentional throughout the day. Now I am feeling inspired to get my mommy morning routine back up and running.😁
Since baby has been born I enjoy waking up to nurse her while it’s still quiet and just the two of us. Then after getting everyone breakfast I like to start our day together with bible reading.
In the morning, I need peace and quiet!! I love when I open my eyes and hear the birds singing and no kids voices...doesn't happen much, but those mornings that I do wake up to silence, is refreshing and beautiful!
I always struggle to start my day. I am not a morning person at all, but, I’ve started praying for my congregation every morning and that’s been helpful:
To start my day, I always need coffee, quiet (I get up before my son does), and bible devotional time. ❤️ When my son gets up, we’re going through the “I Am” devotional book you recommended- we love it!
I definitely need time to myself BUT with four littles ranging from 6months to 5years I was finding it really hard to get alone time in the morning...and it was really affecting my attitude! So, after talking with my husband, I've started doing my alone "morning" time at night right before I go to bed. It has been amazing! I'm so thankful to have that dedicated time to spend with the Lord. It's gets my head in the game for the next day!
I have to do my meditation and coffee! I am putting together my mom basket & morning basket for the 1st time this year. Soooo excited, this is our 2nd year & this year we are stepping it up a knotch! ♡
I have to start my day off with coffee and quiet time! I go to bed not long after my kids go to bed so it is nice to have that quiet peaceful start to my day.
I've been setting my alarm for 5:30 in the morning so that I can have a cup of coffee and some time in the Word before my kids wake up. I love having that time to help set the tone for our day and make sure my time with God doesn't fall through the cracks.
I also love having some alone time before my daughters wake up. I feel like I have started my day well when I start off with my work out and then drink my coffee while reading my Bible. That way I feel physically, mentally, and spiritually refreshed for my family.
I appreciate being ready for the day by preparing the night before. Very helpful since I like to be on time, organized and ready for my day. A nice cup of coffee is also a favorite in the morning to get me going.
I love the idea of making a morning basket for me and a separate one for my kiddos. Every morning I need 15 minutes to myself and a big cup of cold water before the beautiful chaos of the day begins.
The most important thing I do as soon as I wake up is read the Word of God. If I don’t do this before my children wake up, I feel like things don’t go as smoothly. I started watching the back to school videos last year and loved them. Thanks for sharing!
I get up two hours before everyone in my house..I start the coffee, then a load of laundry.. then I find a comfortable place to just enjoy watching what god gave me .. those few quite moments help me plant my feet for when my kiddos start shuffling down to start their day.. the rest of the day is a blur.. lol it goes so fast! But I’m thankful for every second my kids are my joy!
My must have to start my mornings off right is my quiet alone time! I love waking up before my kids to do my Bible study, make my bed, shower & get dressed & ready for the day. Sure helps this homeschool mama feel ready to tackle my day when I've done all that before the kids get up. :)
I have to have coffee and a few quiet moments to get myself prepared for all the tiny emotions my kids have every day. Also making my bed really makes me feel like I’m ready to get going.
We are needing to incorporate a morning basket. This was so helpful! Thank you! Veggie smoothie is my morning necessity, makes me feel like I’m starting my day off doing something that is good for my body.
Hello! Every morning I like to start my morning with my skincare routine and some water. It gives me the perfect little slot of alone time before I start my job and homeschool with the kiddos!🥰
Definitely coffee! I have never been a morning person and didn’t care for coffee for years. The older I get, the more I find I need it to get going. Thank you for sharing all of your books and curriculum! Today was our first day ever of homeschool and I felt so much more prepared because of your videos. 💜
I love to wake up without an alarm, read a little while I eat breakfast, then grab some coffee and start my day. It doesn’t always happen that way! 😊 I LOVE the idea of a mama basket. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love how you think about your structure and delivery. I am a classroom teacher and I actually run my program much like you do and with many of the same style of activities. My whole school is like this not old school like we remember from childhood. 🥰
I just purchased my brothers keeper for my kids last week to be apart of my morning basket as well! Glad we are working through it together. I need my quiet time with Jesus and coffee. If I haven’t spent time in my word then it affects my entire day!
I definitely NEED my cup of coffee in the morning. This summer I added a 3 mile walk to my mornings and it is a total game changer in my days! I love getting outside in the fresh air by myself and listening to a book, podcast, or music.
Thank you so much for your video! I have been working on a morning routine and my goal is to wake up before my kids and have some quite time to spend in reading (a mommy morning basket will help me decide what to read) and praying. If I do those 2 things and a light stretch/workout, then I am ready to start my day on a good note!
I like to have some coffee in the morning and watch a few youtube videos while going over my plan for the day. Thank you for making these videos. They're a nice start to my day.
my favorite morning routine is to be able to sit in bed and read my bible i the quiet and later take a morning walk on my own. I love drinking a hot cup of tea when my kids get started on school.
Definitely just coffee, and a few moments to either stretch by myself or sit and love on my babies. Snuggles on the couch are my fav, but it’s hard to do that when/if we don’t wake up on time and the craziness begins to get out the door for school. This year I’m hoping we can just find a new norm and way to slow down each morning before starting our homeschool day.
I definitely enjoy sitting down with a cup of coffee or tea to sip on when I get into my daily morning devotional. I often get interrupted by my kids but they know that before mama can "do" anything for them, I first need to read my Bible book!
Each morning I have a cup of coffee while watching RUclips and doing all the dishes. Makes me feel like I started the day off right. 😉
Omg.. you've solved my problem. Ican now validate watching my RUclips's in the am before I've checked my to do's. 💕🥳✨
I also wash dishes while listening!
I wish I could say I’m always this productive while watching... 😬 Great job!

I need to wake up before everyone else and just take in my clean home 😭 before the Storm
I have to start my day with some quiet time with Jesus, and throw in a quick workout to get my brain up and going. And once the weather is cool I love a cozy cup of coffee.
"Farm anatomy" is my little guys favorite book, he loves all the machinery and animals.

Lots of water, joyful movement, quiet time and a little make up. I like to feel like I'm going to work and try to present myself tidy, it makes me feel my best.

I need coffee in the morning, and really need to get up before my kids!
I love quiet time in the morning with my Bible, devotional, journal, and of course, coffee.
I pull a cold water out of the fridge to get me through the hours to when I break my IF with coffee and fruit. I love the idea of a morning basket.
I need my scripture study, exercise, and a shower before my kids get up. It helps me feel fulfilled and like I can give my all to the kids
I find it extremely Important to start my day with a Prayer of Gratitude. Every morning I need some dedicated quiet alone time. And FOOD! (10 weeks pregnant w/ #4)
In the mornings I definitely need my quiet time and I read the Bible and pray and that definitely helps before we get started with school.
I need a SHOWER - it’s the only thing that wakes me up!😂
Same
I start my morning in the scriptures. It is the only quiet time I have to Hear Him
My favorite morning this is QUIET ... lol ... no one saying "mommy" " honey" etc... I like the quiet with my coffee and my devotion
I’m not a home school mum, but I love this concept so much! Love this idea! I’m a homeschool mom! I say you are “home schooling” your kids too! ❤
I just have to get moving to get my day going. If I wake up and go straight to sitting on the couch I just feel it takes me longer to fully wake up.
I need a hot cup of coffee, snuggles from any of my 5 kids, and a list of top priorities for the day to get going in the morning. I love your morning basket ideas!

I need time with Jesus in the morning. Even if it’s only just enough time to say the Lord’s Prayer. ❤️
I like to start my day with my garden. Watering, weeding, etc. it brings me joy and peace. The kids can climb trees while mommy gardens.
I try to exercise in the morning. Helps me wake up, have a little time to myself, and keeps me mentally healthy. Helps with patience throughout the day too

Oh, and I forgot to comment... I need my time with the Lord and my hot tea☺️ ... and LOTS of little snuggles 🥰
I start my day with my Happy Journal. I remember happy memories, things I'm thankful for, etc.

I always struggle to start my day. I am not a morning person at all, but, I’ve started praying for my congregation every morning and that’s been helpful:
Morning baskets changed our homeschool! They helped me (as a NOT morning mama) use my mornings better.
To start my day, I always need coffee, quiet (I get up before my son does), and bible devotional time. ❤️
When my son gets up, we’re going through the “I Am” devotional book you recommended- we love it!
Coffee with quiet time is so important time for me!! We do a devotional, calendar time, and art/music/poetry on different days! Love your ideas!!
I always start the day with a snack and RUclips while nursing my baby watching some others gets me motivated for my day.
First prayer, then my workout...Only then can I proceed with my day. I always marvel how you get so much accomplished!
A slow, quiet morning is my favorite.

I need fresh air in the morning! I love to just step outside and breath! In the winter it is not quite as enjoyable but in the summer it is wonderful!
COFFFFEEEE and some quiet time for prayer and bible are my must-dos... my favorite spot is our front porch where it’s sunny in the morning!
Definitely coffee! I have never been a morning person and didn’t care for coffee for years. The older I get, the more I find I need it to get going. Thank you for sharing all of your books and curriculum! Today was our first day ever of homeschool and I felt so much more prepared because of your videos. 💜

I love getting outside in the fresh air by myself and listening to a book, podcast, or music.

my favorite morning routine is to be able to sit in bed and read my bible i the quiet and later take a morning walk on my own. I love drinking a hot cup of tea when my kids get started on school.
I am new to homeschooling and only have 1 kiddo but the idea of a morning basket really intrigues me. I have been watching all your videos on them
LOVING these back to school videos, so helpful for all the new home school moms like myself!
I love getting up before the kids and having coffee and quiet time
I love getting up before my kids, sipping coffee, reading a good book(Love without borders!!) and spending time in prayer.
A little bit of quiet time for me is everything in the morning. I get to wake up slowly and stretch before I have to make breakfast and start the day.
I love to start my day with a time with God. If I miss it I feel not prepared for the day.
Coffee and quiet time
I am not a home school momma. But I love the idea of a morning basket keeps everything at your finger tips
Definitely just coffee, and a few moments to either stretch by myself or sit and love on my babies. I love a quiet slow morning. I need water and comfy clothing.
Each morning I do my daily proclamations! That starts my morning the right way! Set the right mood.... usually 🙃
