Thank you! This is so helpful and encouraging as I come back to homeschooling from taking a year off. Love the idea of a bedtime basket. I feel like that would work for us so well. ❤❤
I love your looping! I need to watch this again and take notes. 😊 I was listening while washing dishes. I would love to know what time do you start your day? Please share some snack ideas. I am really enjoying your content! Keep up the good work!❤
Thanks for watching and commenting! I appreciate it so much and I'm so glad it's helpful! My kids have never been early risers so we usually eat breakfast around 8 and start school around 9/9:30! It's not the healthiest, but we keep a “snack box” in our pantry with prepackaged snacks like goldfish, popcorn, or peanut butter crackers and my girls can choose one of those for a morning snack. Their afternoon snack has to be either a fruit, cheese stick, or granola bar!
I can’t figure out how to link the playlist from Spotify 😅 but we love to use Keith and Kristen Getty and their Getty Kids Hymnal is usually the first place I look to find hymns!
Hi! This was really inspiring! Thank you for the great video! I really liked some of the resources that you showed in your video but for some of them didn't see where they could be found. Is it possible to see where did the resources in your morning basket came from? Thank you!
It's okay. As mom and also homeschooling mom, I understand. Thank you for all your hard work with your family and for us - intentional moms who are trying to learn from moms like you.
@@pillarsandpress Nothing really different except we’re a mixture of Classical and Charlotte Mason style learning. So we just have memory work. We memorize a poem. My son loves to skip count. We’re just gently easing into homeschooling. My son is only 4 but he’s so eager and wants to know everything. I know your kiddos are older but a fellow RUclipsr Jady A. Has some great ideas especially for your older kids.
Hi! Thanks for commenting! Our history cards came with our Story of the World history curriculum. There is a card for each chapter we’ve read and it just gives a quick summary. I’ll either just read a few aloud to the girls as a review or use them to prompt questions. Sorry I didn’t cover that in the video!
Yes, I haven't said the "pledge" since I was a kid and forced to/didn't know any better. When I became a teenager and I knew what it was it seemed bizarre and creepy that we have kids swear allegiance to the country. Today, I'd sooner die.
Im not a Christian but this is a very lovely morning basket you are teaching your children ao well and i bet they are very kind
They are a work in progress, as we all are! 🥰 Thank you so much for the encouragement and for watching the video!
I love the idea of praying for different things each day of the week. Thanks for sharing!
Its been a great way to keep us accountable/consistent in praying for our church, pastors, etc! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Crazy question, but I love the greige paint colour on your wall. Can you tell me what it is?
Oh man! I don’t remember! I checked our paint cans in the garage too and didn’t see it out there. Sorry!
Great ideas! We do something similar.
Anything you love in your morning basket that we don’t have in ours?! I love hearing ideas as I’m thinking about next year!

Hello, I love this video so much. May I know how you use history cards?

Could you give a closer look at your blessings sheet.
Is this the one you’d like to see?

Where did the Blessing Chart come from?
It’s from doorposts.com!

As a Christian we are only bound to LORD JESUS not to this land and swear to it
Yes, I haven't said the "pledge" since I was a kid and forced to/didn't know any better. When I became a teenager and I knew what it was it seemed bizarre and creepy that we have kids swear allegiance to the country. Today, I'd sooner die.
We are just sojourners. For Christians, the pledge is incompatible.
