The real 981 GT4 CS version (track car only/race car only) did not come with a 6 speed manual, every single one came with a PDK per the SRO regulation that the car was homologated, and that car did come with brakes made by PFC since the race series required a 18 inch wheel to be able to use the spec tires. The graphics that were used to describe was wrong, it was just a regular street 981 GT4 with the Clubsports (half cage) package that is available everywhere else besides the United States. (The subtitles do not mention that it is a regular street car, but the actual presenter for the vehicle for The Check Shop mentions this in Japanese, referring to the car as kihon shihansha besu 基本市販車ベース at 11:08 in the video, which means commercial/street car in Japanese) The description portion of the introduction of the The Check Shop GT4 at the 11:22 states that the car has a Stoptech Brake conversion, so it is not a PFC based caliper/rotor solution.
Not the best suspension at all, strut based suspension front and rear, requires camber plates for the front or shims in the lower control arms, needs a rear bump steer kit to prevent rear toe changes that can literally throw off the car into a wall. A proper suspension is what is on the 992 GT3, double wishbone front and multi-link rear.
Wow that was exciting and refreshing. I like the discipline of all the drivers they exhibit the ability of going fast, especially with cars ranging from Light weight to high horsepower monsters. You don’t see this kind of caliber, precision driving and excitement. Here in North America they are a pro at rocketing straight at any speed but yet the essence of driving sport cars is the ability to be fast in all situations not just straight or in ideal conditions. Hail to the Drift King 👑 and Orido as age just seems a number✊❤️ 🙏 .
The parts that flew off came off of the Subaru, you can see parts of the grill missing at the end of the first lap.. That backfire was nasty though. Unfortunately it could be related to it blowing up

GT-R gained two positions just by being reliable as bone stock. I cant remember in the past episodes when there was more than one JDM car failing to compete till the end due to technical issues.
What a shame the FD had issues. It would have been a front runner if set up right. Oh well. NSX is also lovely. 90s JDM still good 30 years later. Pretty incredible really.
Front runner? no lol Maybe in front of GT-R, that's it, but GT4 & the NSX were miles away in their own league, they will leave the feed to dust easily, even the Boss WRX is much faster than the Feed (only it's down side it understeer)
Sorry but the gt4 will always be my choice, even if it lost miserably(which didn't). Is too cool, too practical and 6 flat naturally asp manual is an instant win

If you look at @11:48 you can see it is also on some very aggressive rubber. Very nearly a slick tire only technically not because of the grooves.
