I'm an American who's lived in China for 16+ years and purchased my first Chinese brand car, the L7 Max in May and absolutely LOVE IT !!!!! Words can't describe how comfortable the ride is and it's loaded with all of the coolest and latest tech. 99% of the time I use the pure electric mode but love having the peace of mind with the gas range extender. I enjoyed watching your video and you actually pointed out a few features I didn't know I had available on my L7 Max!!! I'm looking forward to the adding a second Li Auto to my garage, the Mega when it comes out on March.
@@cocoaiscool2709 What do you mean? I don’t see any problems, all spare parts can be ordered in China. And as far as I know, UAE also has no problems with spare parts or services for cars. At the moment, the batteries on Nio and Li are quite reliable and there is no point in thinking about replacing the battery at the moment, at least for five or ten years. Replacement of any spare parts for cars takes place at cars dealership in Russia.
Li Auto is probably my favourite car right now! The L Series is just amazing! I came here hoping you would do a review of OTA 5.0 and MindGPT but it's always good to see the Li Auto.
Totally agree after renting this baby in China recently, whether city driving or high way all excellent, super quiet, comfortable, intelligent, enjoyment, best PHEV SUV indeed. 3 more things, the voice control can do almost every function this car has, also can put all orders in one sentence. When you move in tight space, the car can show the gap in cm anywhere on the screen. The USBc charger at the back is 60W rapid charger can fully charge your phone in 30-40mins, also have a 220W powerpoint in the center of the backseat.
I passed this car 2 times in Poland on a highway. I was like what the hell is this car? At first I thought it was brand new Kona, but I knew something was wrong as it looked so much bigger than Hyundai. Then I saw it up close at the mall. It had Belarusian plates so I figured it must be Chinese. I googled " luxurious Chinese SUV" and your review popped up. And this is how I got here heh. This car looks awesome. I wish it was available in Poland. 😊

This is a beautiful car. These range extender vehicles that are popular in China make so much more sense to me than the conversation plug in hybrids that are available here with only a fraction of the electric range
This is a wonderful car, really love it. Simple yet appealing design, great interior, and an electric drivetrain with the extra range. Great all round.
Li L7 is mid-to-large five-seat flagship SUV. It adopts new four-wheel drive extended-range electric system, CLTC : 1,315 kilometers .WLTC :1,100 kilometers.

@InsideChinaAuto It will be like when the Japanese car manufacturers came to the U.S. with their cars, the Chinese auto manufacturers will do the same. I've been following you and a few others who review Chinese cars and a few others who keep the general public abreast of the electric car industry. Sad, that the U.S. doesn't want to give the public good, practical, and technological electric cars.

Glad you appreciate the reviews mate. Between this and G9, that's a tough one, plus I haven't driven the updated G9 yet. Obviously this is an EREV, G9 is full BEV, so if you want pure electric (and not carrying an engine round) it's G9. I think this shades the G9 on overall cabin though, particularly with the rear screen and console connectivity, but they're both lovely to drive. G9 does have XNGP though, but I haven't tried Li's new city ADAS system so can't compare them just yet. Soon though.

Fair point Stephen. I often have to go and get the cars washed a couple of times before filming if it's dusty on the way to where I'm going but yes, the screens shouldn't be neglected.

Brilliant it's got an engine. Possible to ignore the electric completely and use it as a real car? What's the engine? Diesel, petrol? Volume and consumption per 100km? Would be great to see all the color versions they make. Cheers.
Afraid the engine never connects to the wheels, only charges the battery, so it's a 1.5-litre petrol on the Miller cycle. They don't offer a number for the fuel consumption, but it has a 65-litre tank and does 175km WLTC pure electric from 1100 total, so should be about 7-litres per 100km.
