And my other Band Viraemia: / viraemiaofficial Видеоклипы
The fact that you can actually replicate the vocals makes me respect this reaction so much more
Brandon soto He’s one of the only vocal coach reacts channels that is actually well-versed in metal vocals.
He is the vocalist for Kardashev, great heavy band.
@@aroko789 he's in a few other bands too
I am so happy that I was the one able to give the 666th like.
He is also the singer of viraemia. Know them for years and i would say it was the first group in extreme technical metal, like sweeps all the time, one millon notes per minute. I love it
"See how much your tongue makes a difference?" Thats what she said
Now thats a grade A Zinger XD
Bam.
Giggity
Protect your throat and Use ur tongue to make HER release a guttural growl 😏
“I know what you all came here for.... this part.”
The stupid smirk I had on my face after that, bravo lol
12:47
Luke griffin's cover is by far better of Unanswered like damn go look it up.
Deep butturals
Agreed
@@erikbritz8095 the difference is that one of these was live in one take and the other is just a studio recording that he could take as many times as he wanted.
"Phil is one of the best vocalists in the industry, the things he can do are incredible" *mimics him piece for piece, guttural for guttural"
You are far too kind, Cole. Thanks!
Many can cover, less can create.
@@whophead6837 Definitely, the ability to create a noise is only part of being a vocalist. The other part is knowing when to make the noise in the first place :)
@@coleG112 so true man, i have such a hard time writing my vocal lines and every time i release something i feel like i want to go back and redo the lines
I love how both Phil and Mitch were basically the blueprint for a lot of deathcore vocalists. Phil for his growls and Mitch for his highs.
Lol
6:37 you forgot to mention the part where a demon enters him and grants him extra stats lol
Noah McCoy 😂😂
I PAY FOR THE DAY

Someone jumps into the crowd. He immediately pauses and says “this is really important too” 😂😂😂😂
This has to be the heaviest vocal reactor ever, Easily does whatever he is reacting to 😂
Yep new sub here
It's so weird - but awesome - to see someone switch back and forth between "happy wholesome commentary voice" and death metal vocals like it's nothing. That's a skill right there.
12:47 Yes, that part. At the time, it was some of the heaviest vocals I had ever heard, haha.
1247 and we all going Scotty!!!!!!!!
Tunnel throat for days bruh.
Doc Roid that is not tunnel throat at all lol. I’m pretty sure Phil doesn’t even do tunnel throat vocals. He’s doing a guttural (and an absolutely beautiful and cavernous one too)
@@decept1k919 very right, hes never done throat tunnel vocals that ive heard, he just does your reg toilet bowl gutteral, but I think he uses a similar form of distortion as alex from stp to get that way crazier sound.
At the time? Still the heaviest vocals I have ever heard.
Little fun fact here... Whitechapel's very first show was in KNoxville TN with my old band Spekulum. Where it was an all ages show, they killed it. been a fan every since. Shout out to Phil from Chad
That's so sick! Any photos/vids from that night?
I went to their CD release party for Somatic Defilement in Nashville at Rocketown! I remember just being blown away at how amazing it was
first kind of "vocal coach reaction vid'' where the guy actually explains everything so well i fully understand whats going on
I love how you pick up on every little thing like the changes from high to low.
It's great when people actually know what they talking about.
Respect man
Thanks dude!
This man is the reason I got into metal back in like 2008
Well Chelsea Grin as well. The old Alex Koehler
This guy is amazing, he can replicate so detail, like Wtf you can be Vocalist bro
Thanks dude, I actually am a vocalist, and a full-time vocal coach! My band Kardashev just released their new album on Metal Blade Records and you can check it out here: linktr.ee/kardashevband
Danny Worsnops cover in this show were some of his best vocals ever
Agreed, underated vocalists
Ahaahahahah, what?
He had arguably the best night out of anyone
It was his first night back from injury too. Amazing cover

You’re such a badass🤘🏼 i love watching your videos. Its helped me improve alot on my vocals. Ive been practicing for about 2-3 years now and i already have the projection of most people practicing for 5-6 years all because of these videos of yours. Keep doing your thing man you’re a BIG help and an amazing teacher
I'm super glad I've been able to help! Keep at it!
“I know what you all came here for.... this part.”
I did too hahahaha
Always do
Nice to see a "Vocal coach" who actually knows about the metal gutturals and what have you. I mean I enjoy watching the pop and classical singers explain to the bets of their abilities and have their minds blown. To actually have you sit there and replicate and explain, and do it well, really is nice to see :) Keep it up! - sincerely a new subscriber and fellow Metalhead nerd ^.^
No problem. Welcome to the Kardavox family, dude! Although, Mark is ACTUALLY a vocal coach! ;) - Alex
Notice the guitarist in the video praying when Phil hits that ultimate low.
Should review Danny Worsnops part. Crazy alien like highs
B Watson yes I second this
Dude yeah I've never seen an analysis of that performance
I wanna see if he can pull off the highs Danny did. That’d be sick
Ring of Saturn's cover of no Pity for a Coward was the best there is.
Yes! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone from a vocal coach perspective analyze Danny’s technique
I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to watch a reaction video before
Hell yeah! Hope you enjoyed it!
I would actually like to see reaction to Danny Worsnops part of this concert
Finally a reaction from someone who knows what's going on and can actually replicate it
Great break down man !(no pun intended)
Lot's of respect 🤘🏻
Thanks for the kind words! Much love!
Man, you should do unanswered twice in a row.
You should react to darius tehrani - unanswered
He's the vocalist for spite. And GOD HE IS AMAZING
AGREED 100%
His cover is fucking insane. Same with his Slipknot cover
And he is the best stage performer known to man. I’ve seen them so many times. 😅
@@FamineWolf darius is an all round beast. Only thing he like a lot of other vocalists could improve on is the diaphragm breathing.
Might be the technique or just chest breathing.
@@mattlovelace91 I have NEVER seen them and they REALLY need to go to europe
4 years late but this is prob the best reaction video to basically any style of
Music ever
I have never seen someone so nonchalantly teaching gutturals since junior high. You're awesome.
Thanks bro!
You should analyze Trevor’s vocals from The Black Dahlia Murder.
Yes! When I was a youngin, back before everyone knew what bands looked like so easily, I thought there were 2 different vocalists in TBDM.
Dude this is a great breakdown, so glad I came across it. Easily one of my top favorite performances by Phil 🤘🏻
It's a great performance! Thanks for the kind words!
I'm a vocalist and watch this daily to inspire me! His gutturals are insane!
phil was a HUGE reason I kept at my vocals to get better and better, lots of respect to that man
Love your vids man. I’ve been watching these videos and trying out techniques you’ve been talking about and it’s helped my vocals a lot. Thank you ❤️
It's so good to see in-depth, quality content from someone so about it.
Love kardashev! Always found you and me to have the same sound when it came to vocals! I like the analysis you do when it comes to vocals! Keep it up!
Loved this video, i remember watching my dvd when i bought it and of course my friends and i in our little deathcore band were dumbfounded at phil bozemans performance. 🤘
Dude you are awesome! Really enjoyed this video and how in depth you get with everything.
I love finally finding a vocal teacher who knows so well distortion and make reaction videos.
this is such an epic performance from Phil. The more I watch it the better it gets
I knew this video was coming. I could just feel it. love your work, btw
I love watching your videos as far as learning most detailed & instructional & appreciated mate 🤘🏼👌🏼
Glad to hear it! Be sure to subscribe and stick around for more! - Alex
17:07 for death metal ambulance
My God man you've taught me more in an hour than I collectively learned in the past year teaching myself to sing. You're good shit. Def subbed, keep up the good work brother! \m/
Holy crap...that was insane! And the fact that you can replicate that sound is extremely impressive!
This video is awesome, and I love your screaming as well. Yea your screams are amazing.
The way you broke this down was amazing. This is the first video of yours I've seen and I had to subscribe
Wow I just found your channel yesterday and was trying to see if you had a video with this song.. Crazy timing!
I keep listening to this version, I wanna cover it as well as the original one, such a good album
Bozeman is a beast. Keep up the great work man loving your channel. Would realy like to see you reacting to SPITE???
Timeless quality content dude! Congrats 🤟🏻
Great vid and i learned some things which is awesome, so thank you.
Wow I'm so impressed of your knowledge and skill, so glad I found this video! PS. Love Whitechapel 🖤
Hey buddy! I absolutely love your explanations all the way through, much love from South Dakota
I've seen so many "vocal coach react" videos and they're normally people out of their comfort zone watching videos like this for the views with little to no input, thank you for being able to take apart the performance and explain to those who may not know how the fuck Phil (or any vocalist) does what they do. Instant sub! 😁👍
11:17 he says Pamona. The city where it was filmed. Just throwin that out there. Great video
Haha 20 mins away from me
@Kardavox Academy Excellent breakdown on the lyrics, you just earned yourself a Subscriber!
-Cheers Good Sir
Proud to say Phil and Justin went to school in my city and I was going to their concerts locally when The Somatic Defilement was just a demo. Crazy to see how popular they've become.
I cry every-time I hear this cover by Phil!!
ive been looking and mimicin this so much that i think sam and dean from supernatural is behind my door now... thanks :D
Yo the morning has been good. Thanks for the upload. Loved it! Greetings from India 🇮🇳
You’ve gained a new sub probably the best Metal vocals review and tips. Killer vocals brother! 🤘🏽
Thanks bro, glad to have you here!
Love this video. Rip Mitch
Love how effortless you mimic epic vocals lol congrats dude, sub well-earned lol
hey sick video and breakdown of techniques man, good shit
Phil is an absolute beast. Personally my favorite gutturals are his. 🤘🏽❤️
And definitely he is one of the best guttural vocalists.
i LOVE doing those voice pulls you were talkin about dude. good call
Phil is such a disgusting beast. This video is instant LIKE!
This story was heartwarming
RUclips suggested this channel, first time checking it out,of course I recognised you straight away. As a Kardashev's fan I am surprised to find out that you're more successful as a reacting vocal coach than Kardashev itself, didn't know. Good luck
Good breakdown of what’s actually happening and how Phil absolutely murdered this cover. My absolute favorite live cover
this could be the greatest channel on youtube....i dont think there is anyone out there dissecting these kind of vocals. well done...Subscribed!
Earned yourself a subscriber dude such an engaging video man well done
You are so good at explaining this and your vocals are amazing too lol
"I'm about to do a duet with Phil Bozeman...ohmygod"
Hell yeh man, good to see this again ! Fucking beast
You helped me unlock my highs!!! Been working for weeks now.
Need some mid and lows. I’m subscribing now.
Great Job man... Very inspiring
First time watcher and I love this. Loved metal for 10 years and just realising how little I know about vocals. I need a vocal coach lol
You've come to the right place, dude! Reach out to us on kardavox1010@gmail.com to find out more! - Alex
That bit before "the part", yeah you have my sub you're great 🤣🤣
This video was legit you really know your stuff! Also finding a lot of cool band recs in the comments
This dude deserves an award for his commitment to extreme vocals 👌
Love the video man!!!!
Phil is awesome and his version is 🔥🔥
You described exactly how I figured out how to make that super low myself. Like the tongue positioning and everything.
Phil has been top 5 for me .. Hands down a beast live .
Fantastic channel you have going on. All of these vocalists are sick, including yourself! I would love to see you talk about Jim Martin's lows at some point. I know he did a guest appearance on your bands album Peripety. His vocal work in Aegaeon is legendary.
Thanks for the love! And I'd love to cover Aegaeon sometime!
Second video of yours I watched.. (First was the vocal coach on Infant Annihilator).. I'm subbing.. No question anymore.. Good job..
I’ve been obsessed with performance lately. Phil absolutely smashed this. Oh my godddd did he fucking smash this, I hate that I couldn’t have been at this tribute show. Those gutturals are SICK
Damn, brother. Thanks for the advice!
Thats an awesome story man, regarding your wife/future wife. I just got married to a woman who hated metal but loved Meshuggah’s “Bleed”. Sidenote, both of us are big fans of yours too
What?!? You only have 20k subscribers??? With the quality of content, I am shocked! I'm subscribing for sure! You deserve way more followers.
Danny performed amazingly on that tribute
Excellent! Thank you so much. Can you do a video on lows but on how to find a more controlled healthy tone and distortion placement? I’m struggling with this big time
I'd love to hear what you think to the Darius Tehrani cover too! (Or a Spite reaction in general)
Great video. Thank you for the tips for singing metal in a more "throat friendly" way. Subbed.
Dude.. Thank you. I've been watching the wrong 'vocal coach reacts' vids...
Also, i had no idea this type of vocal coaching existed. 👍👍👍👍

Phil and Alex Terrible of Slaughter to Prevail are my two biggest inspirations
Now to complete this you need to react to Randy Blythe covering You Only Live Once
Blythe sucks
John Rich you must be joking
I am. Randy is fucking amazing
@@super_z6353 you must be joking(1)
I love it
I really love this, such a unique video. I would love to see you critique Drown In Sulphur - Blackwind. It’s got varied vocal styles like this one but with unique twists and it would be interesting to see how he does it. Much love dude 🤘🏻
P.S also Thy Art is Murder, because we all want it.
Although this is an old performance and many have reacted to it, your explanation of his vocals is the best ever. I actually enjoyed this through in through whereas before, I just cared about the person's reaction to the breakdown.
