Fit For An Autopsy is currently on tour, but when they aren't the vocalist Joe does a lot of streaming on Twitch. He has done full runs of some of their albums singing live on stream and he explains a lot of his style and such on there, well worth watching or reaching out to him. The first time I heard Joe was on the track "Black Mammoth" and I have been hooked on his vocals since then.

Damn, I would’ve loved a FFAA breakdown of Your Pain is Mine. Some of his dynamics and range in that song is just...powerful. But, stoked to see this breakdown on the channel. What a great album

My favorite thing about Joe Bad is how fucking nice and chill he is. Been friends with Pat and Tim for years, and they nailed it with adding Joe. They were the last band I saw before the pandemic shutdown. Haha.

Angelmaker - radiance in the light of a dying sun
It's an amazing song, with tons of highs and vocal shifts + the guitar is also beautiful
I saw these guys live at a summer festival, performing in full sun at 34°C heatwave temperatures.
Joe was going scarlet in the face keeping up his vocals, and the rest of us were slowly turning to ash in the pit, but damn they delivered!
Every song damn perfect, every note spot on compared to the recordings, and Joe never ran out of breath.
Truly one of the most impressive feats I've seen lately.

You can use the J key to go back ten seconds, the K key to pause and the L to go forward ten seconds. The left and right arrow keys take you back or forward five seconds.

Joe is insane live! We once opened for them and it was one of the heaviest liveshows I ever saw.

I recommend doing Napalm Dreams done by these guys.
Deathcore never really has cleans ever. But FFAA used some cleans to help add more gloom to atmosphere of the music. Cleans are never a driving part in Deathcore like it is in Metalcore.
So seeing how they blended it in but kept it very minimal is sooo refreshing.
Love listening to your analysis - nice to have the perspective of an actual metal singer, rather than listening to someone trying to dissect fry screams when they sing opera primarily. Also - please tell me that is a picture of Riker from Next Generation on your wall. Keep up the good work \m/ \m/

I found your band about a few months ago and adore the music and saw what you look like and realized you looked familiar. Awesome channel And even better band
I saw FFAA twice on the same tour recently, and both times Joe was remarkable. One of those vocalists that sound just as good live as they do mixed and mastered. Such an underrated band

They're great live Mark, Joe is one of the few that sounds as good live as they do in the studio.

Shout out to Nate Johnson the original frontman, of my homestate nh. Also from premonitions of war and buckhunter. watched buckhunter play a secret show at the drummers house during a party on christmas night. I was pretty stoned and alittle star struck.
hes been in a ton of bands. Igve actually heard of the "nate johnson effect". almost every band he has been in puts out a banger album and then he leaves. i believe fit was the last band he was in.

Before I had found out you were the vocalist of Kardashev (I had found both them and you around the same time, but I dont read descriptions lol) I had thought about requesting a Kardashev song. On the note of songs though, I think you should do Cannibal Cafe by Until the Dead Walk. I'm a drummer, so it's really interesting to see the vocal side of metal really broken down, and I'd love to see this song!
Joe is definitely my biggest influence right now, and FFAA is one of my top 5 favourite bands.

If you love this track you'd really enjoy Napalm Dreams.
It's probably their most experimental song to date and it's incredible with a mix of singing, screaming, and even mellow 'technical' verses.
I highly suggest listening to the video they did for a concert because he is very good live
Overenunciation helps a lot. I still still he's doing fry because he's lacking the gargly sound in his vocals and there's sort of a constant "hiss" going on in his voice that you'd usually get when doing fry.
