I beg you to taste the candy in the thing you ordered. Also if there is gum please try it. The best gum you can eat is about that time 1960.

In India, cooking oil comes in this type of containers

Glad you keep receiving the packages so quick it's starting to be a daily thing I like to watch
when i read biscuits i was expecting flakey pillsbury biscuits.
The biscuits are rancid (notice it had mold growing inside a sealed airtight can). They are 15 x 4-panel biscuits per wax paper packet.
They came in either 2.5 gallon or 5 gallon cans.
The large square-section 5 gallon cans (like the one above) came 2 to a cardboard box.
The smaller rectangular-section 2.5 gallon cans came 6 to a cardboard box.
He said "minimum of 99 biscuits"
It's 89 at 0:23
*You need to open this with can opener*

The birds in Asheville NC are going to love Tara's 🐦🐦🐦🦜🕊️
I think those are simply unsalted crackers. I remember the saltines came in that form, in the same waxed paper. It was fun to drop one onto a bowl of soup and watch it swell.

Taras next time opening tins like this, use a spoon to easily open it like so that taras can see this !
Now you’ve got some food for the birds
Watching him try to open that can is the pain equivalent of working with wooden tools in Minecraft
Lol whack-yuuum sealed 🤣🤣
Very cool!! Mixed feelings about the fact that it was made for survival and never needed and now just wasted. But very interesting to see what’s still out there. I wonder if the makers of these things have studied what happens to survival food that’s outdated in order to make things that can last longer.
The crackers and biscuits were made from Bulgur Wheat, as a recent Egyptian archeological dig had found preserved plant samples in a tomb from 3,000 years before. The design was kind of rushed and every company had different cracker and biscuit recipes, which is why the can weights are different. When fresh they were kind of bland and unappetizing.
They actually started giving it away as disaster relief aid. An aid mission to Guatemala complained that the crackers had gone rancid in their tins and would give you bowel cramps and diarrhea. Civil Defense pulled and tested the crackers and biscuits and concurred with the complaint. It was discontinued as a stock item in 1977 (and noted to never be reintroduced), a year after the existing stores were pulled. The remainder was pulverized and sold as a component for chicken feed.
In Mother Russia, Can opens you!
Nice hiss!
