As a lumber department associate forklift operator at a home depot i got a few things to say: 1) i envy all the room you have to operate because it seems like home depot builds on the smallest patch of ground they can find 2) i envy you having such beautiful loads to unload as they are consciously loaded to make for easy handling. Home depot just throws their trucks together and can very disorganized messes to unload 3) absolutely love the amount of storage you have compared to any home depot i have seen
I haven't worked for either but I'm assuming it has something to do with home depot being a home/construction appliance store, so it can't prioritize for just lumber like the one in these videos can?
@@waggatagga That's whats up. Good for you bro. Crazy how they let that slide tho. If you could do it shouldn't anyone in the company be able to if they want? 🤔
his load isn't too high and he isnt' going too fast either so it's fine they have to teach you the most safe practice but in reality its just as safe but faster to do what he does
@@jonothankaplan just seeing this comment. Appreciate you explaining. If I were to back straight out with the wood off the truck, the ends would catch the other bundles.
The problem with finger controls is that it has a bigger delay than levers. Ive driven both. Love the feel on finger controlled Lifts but hate the delay
I drive one with a joystick with buttons on it. I prefer the finger controls to a series of levers but prefer the joystick to buttons. Raises the forks much faster when cranked back all the way.
Need more videos like these bro, keep them coming.
Legend! Keep it up.
appreciate the support!
Aw man me and you on the lumber yard would work so perfect together same pace and all on the forklift.

fortunate to have this much space. I've worked in warehouses way over capacity.

Hopefully gonna be starting a warehouse position driving forklifts soon. Love these videos!
Specifically when you use
Hight cuality camera and position to filming you're content 👍
Tenés razón pero lamentablemente todo es tiempo y si haces las maniobras como corresponde y te enseñan, no terminas más...

Your shirt says 84 Lumber. Is that where you're working here? I thought they had a strict no beard/long hair policy.
Yes they did have a strict policy but I told them if they ever made me shave or cut my hair I’d quit so they never bothered me

I learn not to turn with the load when the mast is up

@@jonothankaplan I appreciate it.
I prefer the finger controls
I haven’t tried them, they seem more convenient but idkkkkk
