My new E Ride pro SS is all u need! No upgrades needed! 58 years riding & this bike is way more than I expected! a real dirt bike I have beat on & just keeps going with no problems!
Whole different class of bike.. I personally have 11 bikes for different use cases. The E-ride pro SS is the best bang for the buck for its class, but I can’t imagine a 15 year old kid having that much power and spending $4.5K on their FIRST bike. E-Ride would be a beast bike for a more experienced rider though

Because I have a question....what is the best bike overall and for an adult male and that is in the $2000 and under price range. Something that I can honestly use and especially on the road. Crf50 front fender, surron rear fender, super motos, tighten up the dropouts ;-), drop in one of our 72v batteries and a bluetooth dongle. And that thing would be perfect.

I was thinking of getting that for my kids but the noise and lack of power. Hopefully Electro & Co will have a kit for it soon. I'm leaning towards getting the ETM V2. Everything i have heard about them sounds awesome. The app that makes it simple to program makes it seem easy to let your kids get used to it. Would be cool to see you get one.. I'm going to have to wait a little longer before I can afford them.

Please look up your local state laws. Every area is different, though Surron / Talaria / Razor and other pedal-less electric powered bikes are technically illegal to ride on public roads. It’s not heavily enforced everywhere since the laws have not been fully implemented yet.

I would just get the Bluetooth dongle and tune the far diver controller for more power before you consider touching the sprockets. Seen people hit 42 MPH with just that

@ yes, we have seen the compliance, and we have changed many things when it comes to spacing bolts and simply changing the way we built the bikes!!

I weigh 180 lbs, I do 35 MPH on flat ground. 50 MPh now that it’s modified.. but a kid could probably do 37+ on it stock

You just swap out the positive and negative cables going to the controller with whatever matches your 72V battery.

Did you pull out the plastic retainers out of your brake levers?
