Tutorial: 04 Mystery Chip Glazing Session! LOVE this technique!

If you've been following me on Instagram you will now by now that my all time favourite technique and obsession is working with chips.
I make mystery chips from recycled glaze plus chips in single glaze colours and then apply them on either vertical and horizontal surfaces. The results blow me away without fail every time, hence I can't help myself wanting to work with them more.
This video takes you on a glazing session with me, where I use mystery chips on both vertical and horizontal pieces. Hopefully sharing my process may inspire others to experiment with them too. I also have some commissioned pieces I glaze with two unusual combos you may not have tried.
All the pieces in this video were fired in the kiln the following day and I hope to edit the footage of the kiln opening with all the finished pieces in the next few days. Lets just say I was blown away and the kiln opening did not dissappoint!

The base glaze before the mystery Chips is Mayco Sand and Sea.
