It feels illegal watching this for free, so much info and awesomeness all baked into one video!!! Thank you Jamie, you're awesome bro
You're welcome! It's just the beginning, there's way more coming. 😎
Hey Jaime. I watched your first speed ramping tutorial with the orange Audi late last year. I studied it for hours, chopped it up, learnt it from back to front. I started a new job 6 months ago in a full time media position for an engineering company in Australia. Previous to this I was a welder by trade and hated my job. No bullshit when I say your video was a huge part in teaching me the basics of speed ramping which in turn allowed me to change my life and chase my passion. Keep it up mate.
Hands down the best comprehensive car speed-ramping video on YT! Well done!
My dude thank you so so much!
Very well explained, straight to the point, step by step easy to follow. From how to shoot to how to edit. Thank you for this!!! The algorithm needs to push this more 🙌🏽
I appreciate that! 🙏🏼
Oh man😮,there are so many little things that make editing easier. Thank you so much. 🫶🏼Incredible edit btw😮💨
For better effect speed ramp use the timestrecher :) you can do with curve what you want :)
I agree but the time stretcher is not as straight forward as the retime curve in the edit page
I am learning the dynamics of time stretcher it definitely looks much batter the just changing the speed in the edit page, it gives so many more options of style
Yea agreed
no man on the planet is more qualified to teach this
Wow thank you so much I really appreciate that.
Hey I bought your motion blur plugin Jamie , just like with all your other plugin I purchased man there the truth. So fire 🔥 👌🏾
I'm glad you're enjoying it! You're a legend! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
HOLD UP #2 !! I would waste my time and create a compound clip when dealing with speed ramping on a reversed clip. I didn't know I needed to adjust the numbers at the bottom, thanks again Jamie !
Haha! You’re not the only one!
You're a great teacher Jamie! Extremely intelligent as well... the only reason I can do some cool stuff in da Vinci resolve is because of your tutorials. They are easy to understand but very detailed at the same time
Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you’re finding my tutorials helpful! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@JamieFenn for sure!!
Amazing! You are the best!!!👏🏼 I would love to see some real estate video tutorials like you did on this one.
Same!!
Soo useful!
I have always wanted an in depth tutorial on such car videos!
Big Thanks 🌟
You are welcome!
This is awesome! Well done you! We want more of these Masterclases. 💪👏
You got it!
HOLD UP !! How come I didn't know about the CMD+drag on the speed point !! This is so clutch, thanks Jamie
You're welcome! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow, just an amazing video. I'm going to get my Lotus Emira this weekend and I'm going to practice everything in this video on it. Thank you!
You are a true inspiration Jamie. I wish there were more people like you. You are the best!
Wow thank you so so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Dude, how cool is that please??? I swear I love you! I have watched so many of your videos and all of them have brought me further! You are for me the best content creator in the world and now you have a masterclass for free! Respect! And many thanks to you! Your videos and your presets are awesome! I hope we'll run into each other at some point, even if I'm from Germany. You are the absolute madness and your way of making videos is unparalleled! For me there is no one who can do it better!
That's so awesome to read.. I would love to go to Germany. And would be awesome to link up. Happy creating!
@@JamieFenn You are always welcome! It would be really nice to link up. Thank you also for your kind words! And please keep it up!
Great description, thank you.
Turned out for me with having the clips available and a storyboard in my mind, I put in a music clip first and edit the film on top of it
love this guide!
Yes SIR! I needed some good car stock footage. Thank you
No problem 👍
you are the greatest teacher in YT , I love you !
Much love thank you!
The best video i ever seen 👍 pure complete guide
Glad you liked it!
Virtual riot music in the intro......I love it!!!
☺️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yes 🙌🏾 finally! Been waiting for a tutorial like this, Thank you Jamie
You're welcome! 🔥🔥🔥
@ I peeped your motion blur plugin, although we are Team Resolve over here I see it’s similar to to RSMB plugin for them. But yeah finally. Glad someone made a motion blur plugin for resolve, a dope one at that too. I own all your other plugins. I definitely look forward to purchasing this one to 🤝🏾
💥💫❤👍💯Thank you for this tutorial!
Glad you liked it! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Дорогой друг, спасибо большое! Я ждал это видео!
So much value packed in it👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼such an incredible video
I appreciate that! Thank you 🙏🏼
Jamie, thank you very much. I'm learning so much with you.
You are so welcome!
As always great tutorial and big thank you for sharing high quality stock footage for practice 🎉❤
You’re so welcome !!!
Epic cideo Mr ❤❤
Awesome
Thank you 🙏🏼
OUTSTANDING video, probably the best I’ve seen on the subject. Thank you!
Wow, thank you so so much!
You got my like before even watching the video because you choose a video subject i was looking for ❤
That’s awesome thank you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
amazing brother, keep it up and thanks for showing the POV shots, loved It
Thanks bro! 💪🏽
Great Video ! When you mean 35mm you mean on Full Frame or the APSC sensor ?
Full-frame.
Thank you so much for this video and for going in to the details.
I make videos about my sport and my flying (paramotoring) and you have helped me take my filming a post production to another level, so, many thanks again
You’re so welcome!!
Thank you mate it's a really good video, bty i need to know if you turned on your internal stabilisition in your camera. If yes what are your settings pls.
Thank you! I just keep it on active.
Thanks a lot for this tutorial. Actually his is the trend for car photography and no one explained how to do it for free.
You're welcome!
Thank you for this awesome video!
What's about your deadband settings of your gimbal? I'm struggling to keep my point of interest in the middle of the frame when I try to orbit around my subject. Do you have any further tips how to improve and practice that?
Mines just default
Super 🔥🔥🔥 thank you for the lessons
My pleasure!
You know you've shot and edited it well when a Tesla looks interesting.
Haha
can shutter speed be more than double the frame rate? thanks for the epic tutorial too!
@@jeggo7881 yes but you will get less motion blur
@@mattm7426 thanks
Hey Jamie. Thanks for an awesome masterclass and the great value as always.
I have a bit of an issue with your shake sauce effect. Whenever I use it, theres a brief pause at the end of it before playback resumes. I tried redownloading the effect hoping maybe its been updated with a fix or something but I cant find a way to without repurchasing. Am i possibly doing something wrong?
Also I think it'd be awesome if you made dedicated videos for your plugins/vfx and how you'd recommend we use them maybe? I hope for some feedback. Thank you
Hey! Thanks for reaching out about this. What exact version of DR are you using?
@ v9.0 build 69 . However i tried some other shake fx and noticed they did the same so its probably a bug with the software and nothing to do with your plugin after all.
So good dude! Definitely using these tips on the 63 falcon lol!
Thanks dude 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
How did you do the pixel sort effect, mask builds, and the rotating slider effect? been learning from you for a long time, this is an incredible video!
Lots of videos coming soon :)
@@JamieFenn can't wait! Went to the store and was hoping the pixel sort was a plug in offered, looks like I'll have to wait for the video. Your videos really have taken my resolve skills to the next level! its nice to see effects like pixel, etc being used in resolve as AE had that market cornered for a long time. If you ever need a beta tester, let me know haha.
Excellent video, can you please let us know about that footage cloud sync feature in resolve?
Yea for sure 👍🏼
Hey Jamie, love your Videos they are so much helpfull for me because I am new in DaVinci Resolve Business. I don‘t have a good equipment yet and don‘t know what to buy. Can you make a Video of the stuff you are using. Especially of what Cameras you use, with which MacBook you work (how much GB‘s of RAM does it have and which CPU and GPU) and which Gimbals you use for example your Car Videos.
Thanks again for the best DaVinci Resolve Videos on RUclips✌🏼🤝🏼
I will do a more in depth video on my gear. But I talk about what kind of gear I use in this video for these types of videos
@@JamieFenn Great, looking forward to it
So great! Thanks man
Glad you liked it!
Great video. Thank you
You’re welcome! 💪🏽
Wow awesome man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Appreciate that bro! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Why do you use the planar tracker at 16:50 instead of stabilisation in the edit page? Isn't that the same result but much faster?
Just asking if I miss something
Thank you for your great tutorials. You're my favourite Teacher by far
I like to keep everything in fusion.
For better speed ramps use retimecontrol to optical flow
Yep that works too. But very hard on the CPU
Thank you. Thank you so much.
You are so welcome! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
pre render it and put motion blur in color page before final render. Thats its, so u dont have to deal with those laggy playback.
W video as always
Legend!
Nice tutorial, but wouldn t be better to do the speed ramp with time stretcher in fusion? it will give you more flexibility
and the boomerang will be much easier with this method
Yea you can do that too. But like I say in the video, theres a couple ways to do it, but I like this way best.
god like tutorial
question from a beginner. at about 11:09 you do a camera rotation with the shot movement. could this specific clockwise/counter clockwise rotation be done in post?
Yes and no. If you do it in post it doesn’t look natural
Hi Jamie, these bing bing wobbly Effect at 33 seconds on this Video, how did you do that ?
I got you - jamiefenn.sellfy.store/p/shockwave-distortion-plugin-for-davinci-resolve/
But when you edit the video. You already have the audio for it? And how you match it :)
Yes I mention that at the end of the video
@ funny enough i seen it but after I commented 🤭
OCD kicking in on own reflections in close up shots
Osm❤️
Recently got an a7III I regret not saving for a IV cuz video is not the greates 😢Also with the tamron 28-75 and rs3mini it feels hard to be stable idk why
do you have assets like backgrounds or audio effects for davenci resolve
Check out my website!
🤘🙏
does someone have free stock footage of some car for edit like this ?
Step 1 : Buy a White Camera
Step 2: Wear a Flashy Chain
Step 3: Post to all your followers that you are filming a car video
That’s definitely the key to smooth shots 😂
@@JamieFenn haha! Always my friend :)
Why a 30fps timeline and not 24?
I like 30.
@@JamieFenn welp, alright! haha
Why compound clip @ boomerang ?
If you don’t the speed ramps will be erased
@@JamieFenn A thanks .. have a nice day and geat Content
19:48 GPU and CPU SCREAMS
Ahhhhhhhh 😱
Anytime he says secret sauce my 4090 gpu says "good luck" 😅.
Love the videos!
Been following for a while, got the rs4 pro with the s5iix and 24-70mm lens. One day I'll be able to do what you do, one day.. thank you for what you do 🫶
Lmao FACTS BRO
Man, you have prepared a very nice content. Can you make more effective speedramp videos using TimeStrecher like in this video? ruclips.net/video/Q45GCH7dtsI/видео.htmlsi=7TrOAbtoC_Mg9oTt
