Nothing like yanking an 8 thousand pound truck out of deep snow to seriously test and F up a drivetrain too. They were lucky to have him up there. Hopefully they help with the repairs too.
I watched another video from that group of snowwheelers, i think if you search bc snow wheeling it will come up, i regognize the jeep with the yellow tube frame
Fantastic episode. Excellent footage and really awesome choices of music to go with it. Some channels seem to be getting a bit stale after a while but yours is one of those that just gets better.
Back in the 1930's, in the Sierra mountains over Donner Pass. Southern Pacific RR used to operate these huge steam locomotives, built with a forward cab. Made to operate through the long tunnels and snow sheds so the engine crews would not asphyxiate from the smoke...
I wish I could film my train trips through the Colorado mountains, but you’re right. Snowcats and locomotives kinda feel similar, well more than Jeeps and Locomotives do. The cabs are quite different, but not seeing the rails in the snow, yet knowing you’re fine is where I think they’re similar. Good stuff Shaun!
Beautiful footage! We drive up there multiple times in the summer but don't have the snow capability to get to that lake. Nice to see it in the winter. This is my fav channel to watch! Thanks for taking us where we can't go!
Awesome video! I love watching that snow cat barrel thru everything in it's path.... Looked so fun to ride in.... And the lil sunroof hatch is so cool ! How were the donuts ? 😂
Another banger like usual, you have a tv personality and although high quality production still make the videos feel like i am there getting dirty as well.
The whole time I was thinking "what rescues a snow cat?" Glad you didn't have to find out because I'm pretty sure heavy lift helicopters are a mega expensive recovery!
Apologies for not reading theu the comments first to find the answer, but did you ever figure out what the mechanical problems with the snocat were? Glad it was at least able to make it back to the lodge!
Cool to see you in my neck of the woods! The KVR is one of my absolute fav trails & just wished I had the opportunity to shake your hand. Glad to see y'all had a good run & thanks for sharing your adventure!
Make and model of the snow cat ??!! Good practice to always inspect vehicle thoroughly before departure...as if you were a long-distance truck driver with a CDL and a routine inspection check list. Better thorough than sorry...with a dead machine in a bad place. Take tools, a few spare parts and food and water and warm gear too. Have fun, be safe !!!
Can definitely go a lot further with ease but slower for sure. The sherp also struggles with turning in the deep stuff as it’s a skid steer so the tires have to spin to turn which means that side sinks but it can also float so that’s cool 🤣 both awesome machines for their own purpose
I'm beginning to see a patern in Shaun's videos where everyone breaks down except for the gladiator. That's some good marketing for White Rock Dogde. Haha
@Frank Parrish I really want a brand new 79 seires, but the only way you can get around the Chicken tax is to ship it over with no power train and put something else in it.
@@BruceCookfmx Well hopefully it isn't too big a problem or too expensive to fix. I think everyone would like to see that machine back out on the trail asap.
Funny, I was going to suggest you hook up with Ostacruiser for a snow ride sometime. I'm guessing that is him - I'm only to the point of seeing the selfie stick out the window. Figured that's definitely him, lol.
I realize, at least from what I've seen, his toys are a little different from yours. Sherpa, tracked Argo, SxS and ATV might not match as trail companions with a hot rod overland Jeep. Also I think he's in Saskatchewan and I think you're in BC. Looks like you have a whole provence between the 2 of you. Anyway, enjoy your videos as well as his!
Awesome video, definitely want to see more snow cat videos, The sherp driver was youtuber "ostacruiser". you should get do a video exploring together sometime.
Hey Sean I know this question's probably already been asked but what size tires did Bruce have on that Chevrolet 1500 Z71 we're those 42s cause they look bigger than your tires and you got forties???

Ostacruiser owns the sherp. Check his channel out.
Is the cat ready for this winter? Maybe another run at it?
Unreal video buddy!! Great to meet you guys!
Thanks! Nice meeting you too! I didn’t realize you were a RUclipsr at the time but been enjoying watching through your stuff. 👍🏻👍🏻
That thing is sweet!
No mater how capable your rig is, there's always an obscure vehicle out there to drag you out or roll right on by. Just make sure your body is ready!
Nothing like yanking an 8 thousand pound truck out of deep snow to seriously test and F up a drivetrain too. They were lucky to have him up there. Hopefully they help with the repairs too.
Thats ostacruiser. I just watch that video. I love how small this world is
I really enjoy the variety of vehicles you guys bring to the party. Seeing a snowcat and a sherpa playing in the snow was outstanding.
Peerless cinematography! A true labour of love.
Great to see @BruceCookfmx on another outing with the cat, thanks for sharing!
So awesome to see Bruce out there, such an inspiration!! One of the most badass dudes for sure!
No doubt!
Great video and great choice of accompaniment of music for my early morn coffee
Yes! A snow cat and a sherp? I definitely want to see more videos of that sherp in action. Those things are amazing.
I watched another video from that group of snowwheelers, i think if you search bc snow wheeling it will come up, i regognize the jeep with the yellow tube frame
I watch the other video on this run with the ostacruser guys
Fantastic episode. Excellent footage and really awesome choices of music to go with it. Some channels seem to be getting a bit stale after a while but yours is one of those that just gets better.
Thank you very much!
Snowcat: 9:14 "No. >:["
Driver: "Yes." *turns key*
Snowcat: "Ok.. :[" *starts up*
Look at that beautiful JL following behind. Pretty ol girl 🥰
The journey still looked impressive, and hey… got further than last time!
We have similar music track tastes. I've used that track at 13:07 as well, and for a recovery scene also! 🤣
The snowcat is just too easy. That is the perfect vehicle to have with you when you are off roading in the snow.
OK! Bruce is FUCKING AWESOME! I mean, how many people "do you know" with a snow cat.
That looked like a blast of a day!!
Shaun, i have no words to explain how Good your videos are,
Keep Going.
Thanks, will do!
Awesome!
Good Ole Chevy and a Mopar taking on that winter rain.
So cool 💪🏼

Some trains in England use a driveshaft to grab back efficiency, but mechanical-to-electrical conversion is getting better.
That is quite the machine! Your buddy looks like he’s playing a video game when he’s driving it.😂
Nice.
Bruce is such a inspiration!!
I was a little late to the party, but it was a great video. That snowcat is awesome. Thanks for the video.
Get some wheel spacers for that Gladiator and set of 54” snow tires. LOL.
Different video. Cool that you are out exploring different rigs and amazing terrain. Thanks for sharing!
I should have finished watching ostacruiser’s video. Probably would have seen you guys out there.
I wish I could film my train trips through the Colorado mountains, but you’re right. Snowcats and locomotives kinda feel similar, well more than Jeeps and Locomotives do. Awesome video!!
👋This youngman is AMAZING & INSPIRING 👏👏👏👏👏💯 Another EPIC adventure 💯👍💯👍💯👍
Awesome video. Keep them coming. Greetings from Las Vegas, NV.
You’re the best.
I love you’re video, i follow you from you’re first video RUclips.
Thank you for all. 🇮🇹
It's always better to be safe than dead hahaha 😆 better to breakdown closer to help than further away. Great video.
Dude should have a snowmobile on that rear deck in case of a breakdown. Cool to see a Sherp ! 🤙
Get TSTN to 200k! Deserves much more, great everything as always!
You're the best!
Awesome, more of this when it's fixed
Awesome video man👍 I'm loving all the Chevys out there!!
Exceptional!!!
Guys, loved this vid. Great photography. Thumbs up TSTN this is a good one.
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful footage! We drive up there multiple times in the summer but don't have the snow capability to get to that lake. Nice to see it in the winter. This is my fav channel to watch! Thanks for taking us where we can't go!
We've had absolutely no snow amounts in CT this winter. Depressing!
Your videos are addictive, and your choice of music keeps you at the top
Awesome video
Yay!!
Awesome adventure! Tracked vehicles are so amazing in the snow!
As always making me wish I could wheel there too. That was gorgeous!
Kinda awesome watching you guys drive along the Big Meadow Lake damn. Been there myself!!!
Never thought I would see you going out with a bogger haha, awesome video as usual!
Motivating
You need a little cat like the one Matt has... Matt's Offroad Recovery...
13:16 Corb Lund: The truck got stuck comes to mind... and this time the big 4x4 hutterite (snowcat) truck helped out 🤣🤣🤣
Oh come on the TJ made it, the “Trail Destroyer” Gladiator can make it. LOL.
For sure could have made it to there! That’s where the old tracks went to. Beyond that was gaaarbage snow
Awesome video! I love watching that snow cat barrel thru everything in it's path.... Looked so fun to ride in.... And the lil sunroof hatch is so cool ! How were the donuts ? 😂
This one doesn’t donut very good as it’s brake steer (not like a skid steer) and doesn’t brake steer all that well at that 🤣
That’s a cool video!🇨🇦
Another banger like usual, you have a tv personality and although high quality production still make the videos feel like i am there getting dirty as well.
I appreciate that!
Another great one, keep em coming. 💯
always loved tracks
The whole time I was thinking "what rescues a snow cat?" Glad you didn't have to find out because I'm pretty sure heavy lift helicopters are a mega expensive recovery!
Yeah that's the one downside. It can go anywhere, but if it breaks down you're really hooped.
Possibly another, bigger snow cat???
Apologies for not reading theu the comments first to find the answer, but did you ever figure out what the mechanical problems with the snocat were? Glad it was at least able to make it back to the lodge!
Cool to see you in my neck of the woods! The KVR is one of my absolute fav trails & just wished I had the opportunity to shake your hand. Glad to see y'all had a good run & thanks for sharing your adventure!
Really cool video seeing that Snow Cat in action! You guys were in some really deep snow. Love the drone shots, another epic adventure!
Thanks!
Let it be Christmas again. Soon!!!
Great video as always

very cool stuff, especially with the drone, beautiful!
Dude you need a snowcat for your Channel next winter 🤣🤣 they are awesome machines but a PAIN if they break… awesome video as ALWAYS
Looks like the Ostacruiser with the snow wheelers
NOOOOO WAYYYY THE SHERPPPL
- I'm sorry to differ with you, sir. But you are the caretaker. You've always been the caretaker. I should know, sir. I've always been here.
Hell ya
Awesome epik video 🤘🤘🤘
I love tracked vehicles.
Me too!
Me three!
So how are my two most favorite Canadian RUclipsrs in a video and no one says anything about it. #ostacruiser #thestorytillnow
Oh wait, and a snow kitty.
If I drove through there after you guys, I would have thought a tank ran through there with those tracks lol
That's funny I was just thinking I wonder how the snowcat would be compared to a sherp as far as how fast loud and nimble in the snow.
Haha
You saying you want a jeep now 😉😉
@Frank Parrish I really want a brand new 79 seires, but the only way you can get around the Chicken tax is to ship it over with no power train and put something else in it.
Cool Video!! I would like to get some snow so I could do some snow wheeling here in Tennessee. Its been a few years since I have been able too
Next time you chat with your Anker rep ask him for a pair of the Soundcore Libery 3 Pro earbuds. Same company, amazing sound
Cool I’ll check them out 👍🏻 I’ve got the soundcore sunglasses but they’re not great really for music. 😂
good one!
So what was wrong with the snow cat? Great video. Love all of that snow.
I didn't find out but I'm sure Bruce can chime in and let us know.
It’s on the list this week to diagnose. Likely t case
@@BruceCookfmx Well hopefully it isn't too big a problem or too expensive to fix. I think everyone would like to see that machine back out on the trail asap.
@@MetismanInBC a couple pretty epic trails planned for the next couple months 😁
@@BruceCookfmx Sweet. I live vicariously through you guys, as my 4x4 is no more. So these videos are really very much appreciated. 👍👍👏👏
My goodness that is one sexy machine! 😍🤣
👍
So how many MPG for the Snow cat? Another great video!
It’s actually not too bad. It’s a 6 cylinder.
Funny, I was going to suggest you hook up with Ostacruiser for a snow ride sometime. I'm guessing that is him - I'm only to the point of seeing the selfie stick out the window. Figured that's definitely him, lol.
Yeah it was just a chance encounter, but hopefully we can link up sometime.

Glad you didn't have to call Matt's Off Road Recovery 🤣
I think the whole crew just needs to get tracks for the jeeps.
I’ll do it if someone else does it! Gotta have 2 rigs tracked so one can recover.
👍👍👍👍💯
Awesome video, definitely want to see more snow cat videos,
The sherp driver was youtuber "ostacruiser".
you should get do a video exploring together sometime.
Clickbait titles every single time, and I’m still hooked 🥲
This one was clickbait? 🤔
@@BruceCookfmx Seemed accurate to me...
Hey Sean I know this question's probably already been asked but what size tires did Bruce have on that Chevrolet 1500 Z71 we're those 42s cause they look bigger than your tires and you got forties???
46x19.5
Did we get a diagnosis on the issue with the snow cat?
Hey you met up up with @Ostacruiser
The Snow Cat was in its element
what drone do you use? epic vids!
What ended up being the issue with the cat. What did the Vet say....
🕶🤙
I just realized you didn't bring your hood solar panel from the trail wrecker with you. Was there a reason you left it behind?
Didn’t feel like taking it out. I had limited time to remove stuff. I don’t really feel like there’s much benefit to a panel that small.
