@@JBo902 Hi Shaun, Thanks for sharing your amazing adventures and also the discount code. I have to ask you how does a Canadian get the app? I wanted to subscribe to OnX for a year and Google play store says this App is not available in your region. I went even as far as using my NORD VPN to try to trick it. I feel my google accounts made in Canada will always block certain things. I hope you can help us fellow Canadians.. Or at least ask OnX to help us. Thanks Rob
@@suraajsingh8780 Awesome, sorry you messaged before I could finish typing below. All I can say to Shaun is when OnX its in Canada you should have some Big announcement video and maybe a discount at that time too ;)
You need to start posting videos on Fridays after 5. One Monday, I'm going to watch one of your videos, quit my job, move to BC, and start making RUclips videos.
I recommend this channel to all my friends! Everything is perfect from the scenery to the camera quality and mic. Love being here to watch these adventures!
Epic adventure! It warms my Swedish heart to see the old Volvo out there! The ride is sofa king uncomfortable, and the noise level horrible, but it's such a cool vehicle.
It was a blast keeping up with these amazing rigs and better yet hanging out with these incredible people. It was a workout for sure, but the 48 year old girl made it under her own power :)
Wow Shaun, Nate, Ed great video seeing all you guys together in beautiful British Columbia, i love the trail wrecker, advantage of a well built Hemi or any N/A V8 for that matter is you will generate a little less heat than a forced induction engine, who cares the challenge is worth it when you reach the lake its gorgeous and most of all your friends who come along, can hardly wait for the next video 👍
The overwhelming majority of vehicles would overheat in hills that steep fighting that type of snow. I’m but a diesel fan at all in the Jeeps but I’ve give some credit. I’ve wheeled in steep and deep snow like that with my hood wide open. You can’t move air under the vehicle like it’s designed to. Says wonders about how good the amw swaps are engineered
As always my one and only off road guru on RUclips ! Thanks for sharing Shaun. As an og subscriber can’t be more happier to see the growth of the channel🍻🍻
Fantastic video, as usual. Nate, being an honorary Canadian! Wearing a Canada hat, saying eh (around the 13:25 mark), knows the local currency :) 18:42 - 19:00, listen to that Hemi growl!!! Awesome!!!
Great video. 👍 - What's a safe pressure to go down too when airing down the tires, especially when it comes to breaking the bead? - When driving through snow, wouldn't a more aggressive tire help? - Is a front locker a good idea for these snow trips? - What would be better for these snow climbs a manual or automatic transmission? - What's the secret to driving in snow, fresh soft snow? Finally, who is operating your drone when you are driving? Do you have someone else who is driving w/you who operates the drone? What kind of a drone do you use? Thanks!
Yeah, when your in that hard crust with powder base there are so many variables, the biggest one being the depth of the powder but some rigs can stay up on top of the crust without breaking through. My personal experience is tire chains first, don't lock the axles until you have to. If you get in to trouble, wait until 3 or 4 in the morning, that crust will firm up some
Shot I don't know what was better the actual video episode or the lightbar video that you did that just made me wanna go out and buy that light bar for my Gladiator lol..
I live down in Santa Cruz county, CA. About 800' above sea level. It snowed last night at our house. A once in every 20 year occurrence. It might snow tonight down to sea level here.
11:35 You know, snow mobiliers are gonna come back, and GO WHOA... wwwait a second, how the FK did 4 wheelers ger up here... Awesome Adventure Shaun. nice to see you conquer that trail this year
The treeline silhouette at 14:33 was magnificent. I know that when I click your video, it's guaranteed that I will see some cinematic splendor. Your Jeep is growling nicely.
I'm taking my stock Rubi from Southern California to BC in a couple of weeks. Would be great to explore some of the trails while I'm out there. Great video!!
Another great one. Great to see Nate out there with you keeping it real and sporting the Amazon special orange winter jacket. Lol. I just bought a gray and black one just like it. Awesome jacket, and warm. Oh, back to the video..... Lol. good stuff man.
Dude your promo clip for the KC lights was dope! Maybe some of your best work. They should hire you. I'm on the verge of ordering the Flex Era 3s for my bronco! Can't wait.
She sounds narly!! I know the engine is powerful and reliable but the transmission is coming in clutch! I love those lights too. Thats gonna be one of my next upgrades is a few nice lights front and maybe a couple cubes on the sides and rear also
Congrats 👏 on making it past last year's adventure. I'm glad OnX Offroad is a sponsor, can you do a full tutorial on how to use it? Also, what is the rack that is on the JL? Thanks in advance...
These snow trips are awesome! That V8 ripping through the snow is impressive. Maybe you can trade some of those beaver pelts for an engine conversion to run off bear oil. 😆
Brother Shaun, you need to give others a chance with their RUclips videos, cause you’re killing everyone. Lol. Great stuff as always. And that rig, my lord that thing is amazing. Thank you.
Love your videos man! Your videography is amazing! You need more subs for the beautiful work you do! I have to say though you have the worst luck with the dif locks 😂
There's actually no such thing as snow chains. They are called tire chains, and they are meant for icy/slippery conditions. Using them in deep snow actually is counter productive, as they will just dig you deeper and make it impossible to move forward.
