A modern machine would have made ten such tanks in the same time using half the amount of gas. But the machine would cost 10 million dollars to buy, could only be used in a specially designed air conditioned building, would have to be regularly serviced by a highly specialised engineer, the gas would have to be purified to 99.99% and only one type and size of tank could be produced by it. And I haven't even mentioned the quality of the plastic.
I always enjoy watching how products are manufactured in other parts of the world usually with the simplest tools but with a lot of skill.

Much negative comments on poor energy efficiency, productivity, worker safely and then toxicity of the final plastic tanks. You could add UV resistance concerns. The point is this enterprise is employing people and meeting a clearly local need for water storage using low capital cost production equipment. Meeting First World expectations on all issues would kill the operation through need for high unit selling costs. In this situation If I was being realistic I'd compromise with food grade UV resistant polymer and maximise factory ventilation with emphasis on stack effect. Also perhaps reduce fire risk storing the beads more remotely. How many of the armchair critics here run enterprises ?

This is called "rotational molding" and many things, especially big plastic things, use the process. However, this is a very primitive, though likely low labor and equipment cost, way to do it. In a more automated method, measuring is not done by hand like that. And the mold goes into a fixture in a heated oven and fixture rotates on more than one axis at a time to get even coating. A lot of wasted heat energy and therefore wasted fuel in this open air method shown here.

I used to think these little companies in these countries were a joke, but after the pandemic had large suppliers shutting down and thousands of people out of working supplies running out I've changed my point of view. Many smaller manufacturers keeps people working and supplies and goods moving. This used to be the norm in America before the giant corporations put the little companies out of business.

If my steel toed boots cost a week and a half to pay for I wouldn't wear them either.
I mean say you run as high as a 1% chance of getting hurt without boots, and lets even assume getting hurt is the same as death.
Then you have the choice of spending 2 or 3% of every year of your life just paying for boots or you can take your 1% risk, I'd take the risk.
