    You can buy a sand filter/pump for a pool for $100.
    The selector valve allows you to back wash it.
    Collect rainwater from your roof into 55 Gallon drums and use the pool filter pump to move the water to your pool.

      AFM instead of sand is even better. You can backflush at lower flows and it is more effective at collecting bacteria etc.

      @SamuelLanghorn 5 дней назад

      hmm, I only skimmed through the video and could not catch the boots, where are they shown?
      I am also not sure what this actually is supposed to do? nothing unique here. I am only frowning at the use of plastic as a filtration material. Plastic is by default not stable, who knows what funky substances bleach into water over time.
      I also like how he sealed the pipe going into the blue barrel. Hmm, not a clean seal just smearing some gunk over the connection, of course this cannot last. I wonder what this looks like after one or two years.

    Adding ozone as well will kill bugs… add it at stage 1. Ozone generators can be purchased very inexpensively.

    • @HolicCreation
      @HolicCreation  Месяц назад

      Yes, ozone can effectively kill bacteria and other microorganisms. Adding an ozone generator at the initial stage of your water filtration system could be an efficient way to ensure cleaner water. These generators are available at a reasonable cost and could enhance the overall purification process by eliminating contaminants. Have you considered incorporating an ozone system alongside other methods like UV-C light or filtration for more comprehensive water treatment?

    beginers will not under stand how that 'pump' will work Especially if you dont show turning the tap off in sequence after priming it .
    and 45 degree angles to each barrel is ill effective and more expensive then a 'sloped' pipe on 45 degree to next barrel and less 'drag' on the water

    • @HolicCreation
      @HolicCreation  2 месяца назад

      It's true that beginners may struggle with understanding how the 'pump' works, especially if the sequence of priming and turning off the tap isn't clearly shown. Demonstrating the process step by step, with visual cues, could make it much easier to grasp.
      As for the 45-degree angles, they can increase material costs and reduce efficiency. Using a sloped pipe to connect barrels would offer less resistance (or drag) and be more cost-effective while maintaining good water flow. Have you considered trying a simpler setup with fewer angles?

      Hola! Gracias por tu comentario. Entiendo tus preocupaciones sobre la durabilidad a largo plazo. Cada proyecto de bricolaje tiene sus ventajas y desventajas, y puede que no sea la solución definitiva para todos. Sin embargo, estos proyectos a menudo están destinados a ser soluciones temporales o económicas.
      Es cierto que comprar un producto comercial puede ofrecer una mayor durabilidad, pero también es importante considerar el costo inicial y la satisfacción personal de haber creado algo tú mismo.
      Por ejemplo, si un producto comercial cuesta significativamente más, puede que ahorres dinero a corto plazo con una solución de bricolaje. Además, puedes aprender nuevas habilidades y adaptar el proyecto a tus necesidades específicas.
      En resumen, depende de tus prioridades: si prefieres durabilidad y menos mantenimiento, una compra comercial puede ser la mejor opción. Si disfrutas del proceso de creación y buscas ahorrar dinero inicialmente, los proyectos de bricolaje pueden ser muy satisfactorios.
      ¡Gracias por compartir tu perspectiva y por ver el video! Si tienes más preguntas o comentarios, no dudes en dejarlos. ¡Saludos!

Plus, it’s hassle-free and much safer. Sometimes the old ways are the best! But some parts of the world are ridiculously hard to come by! Have you found any other simple hacks that save both time and money?

      You need water filter brush (the kind used in large aquariums)
      You need rope or mesh (to filter algae)

    Buy filtration systems, the true way to go. This guy spent the price for one, not to mention the time he put into it, and it's not guaranteed to clean the water like the pro ones. Cleaning it is another big huge issue! In Mexico we order a pipe of purified water which they fill up out ROTOPLAS for $30 t0 $60 U.S. dlls depending on the size of your tank. Lasts about a month or two depending on where, how and what you use it for. Restaurants, tortilla shops, schools and now home owners are buying it, but now we are buying filtration systems too on top our purified water already. Double the cleaness and security for our loved ones. You'll never get free clean water for ever with this videos filtration hack. Don't waste your time and money. Buy some water bottles instead with it. 😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 lol!

While DIY filtration systems may not be as effective as professional products, they can still help improve water quality and save money in many situations. However, if you are looking for maximum safety and convenience, combining both home water filtration and store-bought purified water is a great way to protect your family's health. Each solution has its own pros and cons, and the key is to choose the solution that best suits your needs and budget. 😄💧

And pvc is a stable plastic that does not break down. It can last up to 450 years. So by the looks of it, it looks like it's safe plastics, but either way, just do the same thing with food grade material.

However, water that is ran though this would be much easier to filter and make the micron filters last much much longer.

    你確定這能過濾水質嗎?

    • @HolicCreation
      @HolicCreation  3 месяца назад

      好的,我將用更簡單的方式為您重寫:
      你做的濾水器效果好不好,要看很多因素:
      材料對不對: 濾水器裡放的材料要能抓住髒東西,而且要按照大小排好。
      做工好不好: 濾水器要密閉,水流不能太快,不然髒東西就跑掉了。
      洗不洗乾淨: 濾水器要定期清洗,不然會越用越髒。
      有沒有測過水質: 做完後,最好拿去檢驗一下,看看水有沒有變乾淨。
      自己做濾水器,有好處也有壞處:
      好處: 可以省錢,而且可以自己設計。
      壞處: 可能濾不乾淨,甚至會讓水更髒。
      如果你對水質要求很高,建議你還是買現成的淨水器。
      如果你只是想濾掉一些大顆粒的髒東西,自己做一個簡單的濾水器也是可以的,但要注意以下幾點:
      選擇合適的濾材: 像石英砂、活性碳這些都可以用來濾水。
      注意濾水器的構造: 要有能讓水流過濾材的地方,還要能把乾淨的水收集起來。
      定期清洗濾材: 濾材髒了就要換掉或清洗,不然會影響濾水效果。
      總結來說,自己做濾水器是一個很有趣的嘗試,但要注意安全和效果。
      如果你想了解更多,可以告訴我你用了哪些材料,濾水器長什麼樣子。
      另外,你可以上網搜尋「DIY濾水器」或「淨水器原理」,會找到很多相關資訊。
      希望這些能幫助你!
