I really think this box is going to sell very well, GW is going very hard on promotion for kill team, there's not a single day I don't see a post on Warhammer community about Kill team. Hopefully this means lots of extra support for the game going forward.
It's awesome that you can build all the specialists from 1 box, but on the other hand... you HAVE TO include the robots if you want to field a legal kill team. There's exactly 12 of them including the robots, so if you want to have 2 gunners, or 2 armsmen to make use of their GA 2, you have to drop some other specialist. So yeah, on one hand I'm pretty happy I can build all the models, but on the other hand I really wanted to run this kill team with 2 armsmen and 2 gunners by dropping one robot+handler pair, but I'll need a 2nd box for that. Once they come out as a standalone kill team
I have seen a lot the render of the guts crazed captain, but didnt know it was a physical miniature, im totally getting it, thank you very much! Also, very good video. I was conocerned about having the same trouble with the kriegs
In order to get all 3 special guns and still be complying with WYSIWYG I converted two shotguns into a combi-plasma and combi-melta shotgun. I used the combi elements from the devastators kit, but you could probably use any others that fit too.
One thing about the gunners: They have different Space Suits than the normal armsmen(the same as the endurant), you obviously loose a bit of that when building two gunners.
I think for sarge I'm going for the tucket under helmet, sheathed power weapon and heirloom auto pistol. Not sure which head I'm going for, but no helmet visible is a big no-no for me!
The las Gun also seems like it’ll pair with the endurant real well as his movement is limited to 4 inches - so the las volley can stay behind him with dashes and deal out some effective shooting
Interesting gunner choice... the plasma is the best gun in the game.. unless that changes in the dark?🤔 I might be a tad more experienced, but magnets are so easy to use. They really open up your options and avoid any "he looks like a melta but is a shotgun" conversations.
thanks i made all three heavy's, and used one of the pointing hand arms on one of the heavy's so made every operative except a arms man so which ever heavy i do not use it will be my arms man there are lots of shot guns and axes. thanks for your videos, cheers from Canada PS went with chain-sword and bolt pistol for Sgt, he has a shot gun on a hip too.
I’m honestly going to just use 25mm … I’m getting tired of making sure I have enough bases for all my guard, special guard, and sm’s all 25,28,32 like sheesh
You could just clone the arm for the gunner by making a mould with "bluestuff" and then using greenstuff inside it. It is what I did with my Krieg since GW decided to make it the most irritating kit ever. Ended up using a bag of FW Krieg from the shame pile I must have bought 18 years ago with the arms from the new kit and got a full 20 minis out of all of it.
Hey! When are you doing warcry videos for the new edition? I would of thought we would of been spammed with them now like in the past lol. It really seems like it's been dismissed by everyone which is sad :(
Tempting, but as of this time, I'm going to have to say no... Although I think these models can benefit from personalization and some greenstuff, just to get them really gritty and looking like the mid - lower ranks of the Imperial navy personnel.

I'm not a huge fan of the robots in game, but they do look cool.
You gave your sergeant a shotgun and power weapon! 😅 shotgun can only be paired with the hatchet, if you want a power sword you gotta take a pistol

just ordered some spare bodies to run a squad with no drones. leaning melta and plasma, but the lasgun seems neceasary for standard kill team

Since getting the box this KT has grown on me. Preferred Kroot at first but now these are my fave for Into the Dark.
