I have this and it makes my hair hard as a rock, like worse than hairspray. If I brush it out it makes my hair feel sticky and gross. I looked up this video to see if that was normal or if something was wrong with mine... im thinking I got a really bad can 😒

Not usually. If your curls tend to fall out easily I would.
