Not a Jeep w straight axles, looks like that independent a arm up front hangs up these Toyotas...like my old 4x4 nissan... now I have a jeep with straight axles...the a arms just keeps getting high centered.
This is the crawling control. Comes in some models. You push a button and choose a speed thats it. It can get you out in case you got stuck. It’s not idling in 4low or something.
Toyota really needs to bring an updated fj back to the market. I think it would do very well. Release the new 4runner and the fj shortly after. at the time the fj was discontinued was just horrible timing with gas prices through the roof and a bad economy where everyone was into the hybrid car movement like the Prius and other gas efficient vehicles but now people have been buying SUV’s and trucks. The fj would really shine in today’s market. Also off roading/overlanding/trailing has become much more popular now with basically every car company having some kind of off road trim on their trucks and suvs. I really think toyota should make that happen. I heard the 300 series land cruiser is gonna be going back to its roots and focus solely on off roading and take the luxury part out and have the land cruiser price come down which is exciting as well so maybe they just plan on having the land cruiser be more expensive than the new 4runner but not as expensive as the 200 series.
I agree. The FJ was a bad timing. Ford bronco is basically taking the advantage of the recent popularity of overlanding tread. The vehicle I wanted the most in the US would be LC70 series.
??..do you work for toyota.. fj,s are garbage.. too short,no room,ifs,petrol. same as prado,.you want a decent fj,,go buy a '95 , 80 series.. last decent toyota built..

I'm a jeep man but damn I love the FJ. Probably best rig for overlanding. Jeep best on trail tho hands down.

It was just idling in 4low. Everyone can do that

Unorthodox that is a 07 FJ with 6 speed manual transmission. I don’t think crawl control exist back in 07 nor it was ever put on manual transmission
