I completely agree with you, the installation of a surveillance camera is important for home territory. At any time you can see what was happening in your yard. But if you want to secure your life, you also need to install a home security system. The cost will be even cheaper than a surveillance camera.
I just posted a video about our situation and need for the best possible home security system (we are security guards and we think work may have followed us home). we are shopping around even though we have a system to hold us off (it was in the house when we moved in and we just had it activated), but we want the absolute best system possible for our situation. I definitely needed this video.

It is a great one of a kind product for securing your home from danger minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my buddy at last got cool success with it.

I am very sorry that you have such a situation. The question of home security will always be relevant. I live in a not very favorable area and therefore I had to install a security system. When choosing between wired and wireless, I certainly chose the wireless option from Kangaroo. This makes life a lot easier, no need to break the walls and throw a bunch of unnecessary wires. The whole system works through a wi-fi network and can be controlled using the phone, in general, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Any outdoor installed security system like these can be removed or damaged by perpetrators... only security system I trust @ my doors and windows are the ones installed indoors unless, it's a camera hard to detect.

It seems to me that one security camera will not be enough. If you want to protect your property, you still need to install a security system like HeyKangaroo . Cameras will help only when searching for an attacker, but will not prevent the threat. To date, security systems are not expensive and everyone will be able to install them in their homes.

It's fine till installing surveillance system of any kind. It will send you a notification but what's use of that when u are very far away from ur house?? How to immediately I mean instantly take an action. Something real damaging actions on burglars remotely??
