Burglar: The best way to keep your home protected is to leave your windows unlocked and open at night.
Person: Really? I don’t think that’s...
Burglar: Yeah, yeah, it’s the best way trust me.
Burglar: Also declare your property a gun free zone
Person: Wait what?
Burglar: Yea man, means we can't bring a gun with us if we want to rob you since we would be breaking the law
Person: Oh that's a neat idea
Wet Lettuce XD
They'll rob your dog too.
dogo
lol yeah i leave mine unlocked 2. i got dogs that know how to open doors, its a hell of a lot easier than getting up in the middle of the night to go let them piss..im not so concerned about people breaking in, they should probably be concerned about if they do get in how the hell they are gonna get back out with all of their limbs or life intact
I rob burglars while they're out robbing - they never see me coming
The Spaniel Inquisition
I rob people who rob burglars and get robbed
@@nikolas3986 Oh yeah, I rob people who rob people, who rob burglars and get robbed.
You are the real Robin the hood
My door is locked for your safety, not mine.
damn
Haha
On GOD
Badass
Ok John Wick
Why are we taking advise from burglars who got caught?
No, they don't all get caught eventually. The vast majority of crimes committed go without an apprehension. True, these guys got caught. But how many did they do before they got caught?
lol if a burglar has done 1 million sucessful burglaries but got caught on the million and 1 he is a pretty good burglar
rikilii because u can defend yourself from what they are doing. A da.
Advice
They got caught so they know their mistakes and what they could have done better. But, they don't use this info for themselves. They tell you how to protect yourself from these kinds of attacks
If someone breaks in my home looking for money, I'd look with them

New door bell system: it rings and then plays the sound of a shotgun cocking and a dog barking and being told to shut up
When people knock at my door I yell..."Ain't nobody home!"
G H just need to answer with my 2 big dogs (pitbull and kangal) they will not come back!!!

Best security is community and good neighbors.
Or you know a gun fuck neighbors they aren't worth a shit these days
^ well yes but actually no
Neighbors are often the culprits
DJ YELLAWAVE I agree. Keep em in check.
The only sign I put up says, SURPRISE! No Beware of Dog sign, Security Alarm sign or Beware of Owner sign. Just a Surprise sign. Some people like to be surprised.
Burglar breaks into my home the next sounds he'll hear are: (Door slams behind him)(TV comes on) "Hello, for years you have stolen what doesn't belong to you, now you will feel what it's like to have something taken from you. In that box over there is a key to your freedom, just how badly you want it before the gas is released? We'll see! But first you'll need to push a button in the bottom of that box. Let the game begin!"
Kit Bear 😂😂😂saw
😂👍🏻that’s awesome
Kit Bear 😂😂😂🤣
Kit Bear I know this is old but it made me lol! 🤣
I want to play a game lol!! I would legit die!
There's something kind of funny about a guy breaking your $150 car window to steal $3.25 in change
Definitely not for car owner
Uraneum damm meth heads ! i hate em' !
Mr808Late there is something actually wrong with you.
Because the $150 isnt coming out of their pocket. To them, its +$3.25 in its pocket.
Uraneum that’s basic math dipshit + $3.50 and the negative 150$ is to you that’s a profit dipshit
My car was broken into right in front of my house and now I’m so paranoid they’re coming back to rob my house. IT SCARES ME SO BAD I WANNA MOVE
Sara Maybe buy a gun and put up signs saying “trespassers will be shot”. It’s extreme but so is moving out of fear
"It's a crime where nobody is going to shoot me"
Hint Hint: homeowners with guns scare the shit out of burglars. Arm yourselves, legally, and train your ass off to protect whats yours.
+TheRevering why So aggressive? I have a family member who acidently let their gun go off. thankfully no one got hurt. my boyfriend advised me to gun. I do it for me and my families safety but I understand even the old pros can slip.
Lmao....accidentally let a gun go off. Like it got off the leash and chambered itself and started blasting away by its lonesome.
i never answer my door, i just wait with my gun and see if they come in
And last but not least....go to Goodwill and get about 3 pairs of size 14 workboots and leave outside the door. At the backdoor too.
Kabb - You're wrong. Most burgluries ARE random. Most do not watch you for your schedule. Stop talking out of your ass you ignorant fool.
I thought the joke is they're scared of hard work? Or is it that they see several large men live there and don't want to risk it?
Smokin Bill Williams
I have my old pair 14"workboots front and back I put a pair at my customer's house 👍🏻👍🏻
Unkle Zeebizcut If the boots are home the owner is home
Please tell me why..idk..but will if it helps..thx
Dogs. Dogs deter more burglars than anything. Hands down the cheapest, most alert thing. And it thinks. vs an alarm if u can't afford an alarm.
a mean dog is more expensive, well , at least if you feed him well... i guess... clean their shit.ToT take them out...
Awww you u tube mad ain't ya lol dogs don't attack burglars, people think they did until they tested them. The just barked at them, getting in their way but then just stop
It is indeed the most alert but throw it chicken and that dog is gonna help him rob you. What if the robber knows your not home? A few barks mean nothing. An untrained dog will betray you for food.
My dog barks at any small noise, and goes frenzy barking when someone knocks on the door or hears any strange noise. He's small so he won't do anything to a robber, but that's enough noise for me to get up and grab my firearm if needed.
Torque_42 train your dog it won't take treats from others so wrong
Good initiative to record such interviews! Thank you!
I never open the door unless I know who it is. Saves you from dealing with pointless small talk from a stranger
I'm so glad these burglars become better honest people who are willing to share their secrets and encourages others to safer their houses. thank you, for your kind hearts of becoming a better person.
We had a problem with gypsies in the neighborhood a few years back. Watch out for the guys going door to door asking if you want estimates on gutters or landscaping or dent removal. No car, no truck. They likely want an up-close look at your locks, windows, dog-situation.
I was scammed by somebody pretending to be a floor cleaning service, he was really just trying to get inside my house to case the place. He looked legitimate, had a uniform on and everything. But I suspected something was up by the way he was questioning me, so I started asking some questions of my own. He began tripping up on his answers and I realized he was up to no good and call him out on it.
0:32: "Make up a name". I'd be the worst burglar ever lol
**Opens door**
**Huge, awkward nervous, smile** HELLO MA'AM, MY NAME IS.....UM....J.B. PENNYPACKER ROCKEFELLAR PUERTO RICO SWITZERLAND THE THIRD, IS THIS THE JACKSON RESIDENCE?!"
I tell my wife never open door period. ask who it is and what they need. Then no matter what it is she is to say LET ME GO ASK MY HUSBAND. and never answer any questions
A pair of guys were at my door, I did not open it. They said They were interviewing married couples. I was a single mom, so I said "He's in the shower" and they left.
Bflatest I need you to be my husband.
Little bit controlling no I bet you’ve and 1000 guns don’t you

Break a $300 car window to get $5 in change 😡
This just happened to my girlfriend except it was like 2.50. Didn't have anything else to steal.. Yikes. Fuck these people
I was raised in the 50's and 60's, I cannot remember locking our doors. I would walk home every day for lunch, and had no key. Neighbors are the best defense, other than a big loud dog. I caught a dude at my neighbors door, he took off fast when I questioned him.
You answer the door your half way in trouble, honest folks need to be aware!
lee v. i live in a city and could get away with not locking my doors now, honestly. its not like people are constantly trying the same house day after day. lol
Yes but the demographics of America were different back then
Lmao what if u just don't wanna open the door for strangers 😂
IPod Tech then have a shotgun ready lol you never have to open the door and if they do break in you are still safe haha
What if I'm not in america and I don't have guns???? lol
god bless the constitutions
Kabb - Or his country sees sense like the UK which has no mass shootings. But a lot of American morons find this a little difficult to understand.
did you know that all the mass shootings were done with... *drumroll* illegal firearms which means that firearm control is pretty much prohibiting law abiding citizens to own guns and protect themselves and others, which does happen a lot more frequently, armed citizens saving others from armed criminals. most school shootings were done with pistols or shotguns as well. btw, if a burglar breaks in your house in UK, if you harm him he can sue your ass. talk about getting cucked.
I never answer door knocks. Anyone who could need to get a hold of me has the means so knocking makes me suspicious.
I only see ask who it is first before opening the door. There was only one time that they turned out to be someone other than they claimed to be before I answered.
Come on in...I got "something for you"

It's premeditated murder at that point. This issue was covered in an episode of the Simpson's. Homer invited Ned over after Wiggum told him it was legal to shoot trespassers. Wiggum quickly informs Homer, "It doesn't count if you invite him."
Homer gets disappointed and tells Ned to, "get lost Flanders."
Nick C ya gotta be home brah...
thank you guy for the help its good to see that you guys are helping the community
Change out of the ash tray, wow, a whole $2.00
anna soucek
He must be from San Franstruggle
Someone stole 500+ dollars in quarters out of an apartment I was renting.
×1000
anna soucek yeah wtf just ask nicely and I'll give it to you
$2 closer to his next fix
Robber: Hey I'm looking for such and such.
Home owner: Can you give me their name?
Can we discuss this paradox??
We're old and my wife is very fragile. We're both 5"2". That is the negative. The positive: because of my wife, we rarely go anywhere anymore. There is a car in the driveway. If we open the door, we still have a strong screen security door between us and the bad guy and it's difficult for him to see us. All windows have security film on them which makes it more difficult to break in. I have small alarms in the second floor windows. I also have a "A" in the hole that I will not mention here.
The other advantage is that I have taught and practice AKJ-American Kenpo karate since I was 25 and I'm 76 now. People are shocked at my age, they think I am sixty. I have worked out and taught to art to just adults my whole life and I still do. We are on a busy street so at times, that would help us.
Go buy some geese better than any guard dog.
True, my sis swears by them
better than a guard dog?
focused313 theres something scary about a bird running towards you with their wings up man. It gets adredaline pumping so im certain prehistoric man was also scared by birds
True, geese made a lot of noise. They clean the grass(eat) real good. The are edible.
Geese poop all over the lawn and the poop is very slippery. Burglars would not be able to walk up to the house!!
I lived on the second story of a building. When I got home and unlocked my door, I immediately could smell that someone had been smoking a cigarette in my apartment, and I don't smoke. The burglar got in thru my 2nd story window that I'd left open a little for some air. He took almost everything of value, but at least they left me a can of bonito... nice of him.
I don't own stuff it's the perfect defence I got a bout 500 worth of anything most non resellable and half broken crap
Not a bad strategy.
hakuryu Good idea, then get a fat, ugly girl friend that nobody wants.
hakuryu congratulations?
Phillip haha haha !!!!!! 😂😂😂
wow HLN what a eye opener food for thought really helping my home remodel thanks in 2021
You come knocking at my door like this I know you're suspicious.who the hell is even gonna answer?I'm waiting and following you to see where you go once you walk away.
Make you car keys have a button that triggers your car alarm so you can press it if you hear something at night. Thats a free alarm right there.
I've got a wireless camera system that runs at night and during the day and I've had nobody ever bother me.
Seems like this video was sponsored by an alarm company
someone burgled the change out of my car a couple weeks ago. shit's infuriating
the contractor i work for just had over 20 grand in cash, lowes and depot cards, a gps and a new drill set he got me for my birthday stolen out of his truck while idling it in front of a new customers property...the guy that lives across the street is a SWAT officer...criminal bastards sure do have some balls man
I remember watching a stand up comedian talking about back in his days when people knocked on the door the whole family was ready to greet them nd welcome them in and he mentioned how nowadays people act like its a nuclear melt down and hide until the people leave lol
I much prefer a passive defense. Motion sensors in the hallway, silent alarm, alarm company calls my cellphone and not the home phone. If someone breaks in when I'm not home or while I'm asleep... worst case scenario, the cavalry still shows up. I also keep at least one firearm in the bedroom. If you really want to rob me... expect a shotgun to the belly when you breach that door.
My front window says “protected by glock”
Breachers are preachers when they take day off ;P
I appreciate this, thank you.
Aye that change adds up tho😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 smh good advice tho, gracias!
There must be two signs in the front door: One that says "We don't call the police here" and the other one "Organic compost for sale".
Watch the cars to around your house or down the st,most people watch and scope your house for a week or so to learn your patterns,be cautious and safe
It is easy to get into any house. I have never been a criminal but working in construction if you drive 3 hours to a locked building under construction you can find a way in. Not posting how here but locks are for honest people.
Home security is simple. Dont be the easiest house on the street. Crimes will happen. You cant defeat that, you can only deter crime from happening to you. Your security level will depend on your neighborhood and your neighbors security. Have clear lines of sight on your home, manage your hedges and have the outside well lit with motion lights. Have obvious cameras (whether they work or not). Have security alarm signs that state you have "wireless" security visible in both the front and the back yard. Pad lock your fences. Run spike strips atop your fences so that they cant be as easily vaulted over. Have a device in the home that randomly turns on and off lights at various times. Put bars in your windows and at the VERY least invest in an alarm system that sends a message to your phone with a glass break sensor. The list goes on and on and on... Look at your neighbors house and look at your own home. Who has the nicest house on the street? If its you, you should be concerned. Who has the least secured house on the street? If its you, you should be concerned.
I don't sell security systems but I'm a dispatch operator for a large security company. Don't trust your dogs to do anything. I've come across a lot of break-ins where the dog just barks never attacks or they'll just walk in and shoot your dog first. Even if you get a self monitored one like simplisafe get something. I'm not worried about people taking my shit but I'd sure as hell be pissed if someone killed my dog or let em loose just because they wanted some piece of shit tv.
thats why you train your dogs, just like you train yourself.
I don't answer when someone knocks my door because I don't want them to know I'm at home. Should I call 911 when someone knocks at my door?
I'm going to hang up some of those fake wasp nests that keep real wasps from building their nests too close -- if I put the fake nests really close to a window or in front of a window would they deter a burglar too? Not many people in general want to tangle with angry wasps.
Fake wasps nests? I've never heard of such a thing. I have a severe wasp venom allergy so now I'm intrigued
@@RH-uc4sd The theory is that if real wasps see a "nest" already in the area, they'll go elsewhere so as not to complete with the other hive.
It's been awhile since my original post. My personal experience is, they won't work particularly well. But if you really want to try, just stuff a small brown paper bag with plastic bags and hang it up.
I’m gonna give u to the count of 10 . 1,2, 10
Bang bang, he hit the ground, bang bang, that lovely sound , bang bang
I hope these guys change their ways
A friend of mine had her laptop stolen from her unlocked car. Actually had stuff stolen from her car twice because she forgets to lock it. Yeah, she's not the brightest crayon in the box.
NEVER, EVER open your door for a stranger b/c if that rapist or burglar are desperate to score, when you open that door he will burst through, use the few sec. you have to get your weapon and ready yourself for a fight just in case he decides to break in after knocking!
Someone comes to your door and asks you a weird question, find out everything you can about them.
Follow then if needs be.
Make it known that if you are burgled at any point, he'll be the one you;re looking for.
Take photos of anyone who comes to your doorstep unsolicited.
1:50 lol these guys have been inside a long time - talking about stealing expensive stereo systems
😂😂😂
In regards to the second interview: You do that today you get accused of social profiling.
I believe in corporal punishment. . . . Start cutting off a finger for every offence. Trust me, they'll really think twice. Our justice system enables these crimes.
Gerard Coppola Whole hands cut off.
Been watching The Handmaid's Tale?
Gerard Coppola 👎
The second idiots is completely crude. He acted proud of what he had done. They needed to be lock up in the third world jails, so they will get what they deserve. Simple
Sorry that your against the bill of rights but " cruel and unusual punishments" shall not be inflicted.
not only do I build my own custom doors
I also have three security gates that you have to go through before you get to my front door
the first gate indicates no trespassing + I let the person reading the sign
followed by
"booby traps active "
followed up by military semi auto 12 gauge shotgun💨
even the cops don't step on my property
Problem solved
EXCELLENT Video
Having deterrents Is better than nothing at all and knowing your neighbors.
Good advice.
Before I go to bed I lock EVERYTHING.
Front door
Sliding door to the balcony
Window in my room
Balcony in moms room
Window in bro’s room
Window in living room
My bedroom door
Shut my closet because I don’t need no momo givin me surprises
And tape up any holes in the wall (like ones from thumb tacks and nails) so there ain’t no black widows or anything 😂😂
The door knocking doesn’t work when you have Ring and Ring Central.
I would never open my door to strangers. They can talk to me through the door if they want. I would also have my firearm at the ready. lol! Its sad that one would feel the need to do this but we are living in some crazy times.
Thx sir
Someone knocks ....... Don't freaking open the door if you don't know them..... hello.....why would you make it easy for them to come in to attack you. Tell them the Police are on the way.
It's almost an art. At least they have the guts to tell everyone the secrets. Neighbourhood watch is the best protection. Home owners think Video Cameras, Alarms & everything locked Windows & doors are going stop em. Nah
I keep all my small valuables in my mailbox. They never look there.
Actually, some do. They check to see if you're home
We have all kinds of things here in our place of residence for protection...and yes we have dogs...several of them.
Some man took my wheel at 7pm at night. Sad my neighbours didn’t see or did see and thought him somebody just changing those women’s tyre for them 😂.
Never have a door with a window in it or a window next to the door. They can break the glass and reach in for the doorknob. A lot of houses have flimsy front doors, you need a sturdy door.
Another thing is that by following the tips such as closing your blinds so burglars can't see in is:
A: it shows you aren't home
B: they might think you're trying to hide valuables
(Beware of dog might work on a privacy fence, but not on a house door, it just says "my dog is either 3 pounds, or i don't have any motion sensors that a big dog could trip");
It's hard for the modern criminal with modern tech like Wifi camera's that are dirt cheap, record in 1080p and have motion detection built in which will notify your phone the second someone approaches your home. If you are at home and practice the 2nd Amendment (AR rifle's) then bad guys fucked if they do come in.
If I was a bad guy I would find the most liberal neighborhoods I could find and break in to those homes. Chances are they wouldn't be armed, because guns are bad, and won't fight back because they are generally soft and afraid.
Security systems don't matter any more.. Locally they are still breaking in with alarm systems going off.. they just get out before 1 or 2 minutes. They head straight to master bedroom and hit your jewerly spots and medicine cabinets. They know they have 15 seconds before alarm is triggered.. then 2-4 minutes before ADT calls you or cops..then 2-6 more minutes before cops can respond.. if not longer. So running into a house with an alarm set is not a big deal to them anymore. If all they get is 1 or 2 things that's enough to them
RoadTripVidz Yep that's true, although most criminals aren't smart enough to be that effective, I think people need to modernize , make sure the breaking doesn't happen at all don't build a cardboard house build a cement house with a hard material doors that have multiple locks, fingerprint tech, face recognition and voice authorization and a key of course, and a password if your up to it, maybe have it change every day or have it different at a time of day, all these systems on a single door would make it virtually impossible for a theif to steal in time without just knocking it down, but if your door is made out of hard materials not low power explosives should take it out. Also windows, where are live the window style is different from the US, but anyway have bullet/kinetic resistent windows, if you can have them so you can see to the outside of house but you can't see inside even better AND have a like these ummm.....IDK what their called in english but their like fan wings, usually metallic, you can close them off completely and open them super easily, they don't obstruct vision and you can't cross through them in any way even if you had a sledgehammer or a gun. A gate would also help, you know like a tall fence with sharp and pointy crosses, you could have some kind of hidden cable that if you wanted to could run electricity through the fence.Cameras are a must, have at least 2 cameras, you can disguise some outside your house as owl statues and make the head turnable in almost all directions, cameras inside the house would be nice too.An alarm system that makes an unbearably loud noise and flashes lights is a must, you just stay inside and put on noise blocking headphones, also it should dial up 911 or some other emergency number, if you really wanna go overkill you could decoy some plants that aren't really plants but release some kind of gas that either irritates or numbs people, like tear gas.A safe room inside your house would be great, it could have all your valuables, water and food for like a week, its own powerful battery with entertainment, make sure its virtually unbreakable by conventional means and such. Most importantly you need guns, a heavy duty gun and a full bullet/stab resistant body suit in case of a mass break in and handguns in different secret compartments in the house where their nearby so you can always pull on out on a moments notice.Drones and robots are a thing now so you could have a few drones in the house and whe you know there's a break in just go to the safe room and activate them and remotely control them so you can taze or shoot or gas the intruders.Good designs can go a long way in making your home break in free, its not that expensive either too do if you have a good income its not a big expense but it certainly is well worth it.
RoadTripVidz
My system is alerting me and taking video soon as they are within 30 ft from my home.
Enough time to make tea and watch.
And that's after entering a gated community.
This is Oklahoma.
They can try to enter my home if they want to. It will take some time to get in with the steel windows/French doors, and hurricane glass,
Just run on in here and meet witch hunter Robin.
man, who are you?
boobey traps
Urban Outdoorsman thats why you should have an ISM Platinum TRTL-60x6 safe. That way even if they break in they cant take your laptop and other stuff stored inside the safe
You don't wanna fuck with my hz you won't leave breathing .. dad doesn't play 🤣
A guy came to my door one night asking for a name that was clearly made up. I was talking to him through a window. I knew immediately he was full of crap. I told him calmly but sternly, “If you don’t leave I will shoot you.” Man, did he run fast!
Interestingly, I had just bought and registered the gun a week before and my parents were pissed (this was about 25 years ago) that I had brought a gun into the house. After I told my mom what had happened she would ask me where I kept the gun before I left the house, just in case. I guess it’s easy to be against guns until you need one.
I don’t believe in random or unprovoked violence but sometimes violence (or simply the threat of violence) is necessary.
where do you live that you had to register a gun? thats kinda fucked up
Just looking to get that change out the old ashtray huh?
I was just wantin' that change outta the ashtray.
Lying robber: Thousands!
Interviewer: Thousands??
Lying ass robber: Thousands..
I watch one video on burglary protection and I get a bra ad.
facinating
Primary: Brinks security system
Backup: Mossberg 930 w/ 00 buckshot
Don't want to kill anyone, but will if they are stupid enough to pursue past the piercing alarm system
I wish you would try to get in
What about if you are a female home alone, what should you do if someone knocks on your door to see if someone is home?
courtneyst peek out an opposite window see if its a car out there and call the police or a friend to drive by and scare them off. I change my voice to a man's voice so they'll think its My husband. I never open my door to strangers. Get yourself a taser gun if you don't want an actual gun.
Buy a gun & train with it often so you know how to use it.
courtneyst Make sure you can see who's on the other side of the door, many doors have this little looking glass where you can see who's on the other side but they can't see you, you just talk to them like that, you don't need to open the door to talk to people ya know.....You see if you need to open it for any reason and have a handgun ready if you don't completely trust them. Make sure they can't break through your door or window too.
I go grab my gun first and wait for them 15 feet from the door to see if they are going to try and kick my door in. If they don't I raise the blind to see who it was. Usually solicitors. If they do kick my door in, 6 rounds hollow point
Just get a vivint system doorbell camera
Lol I thought this was the onion for sec until I saw who made it
I stole a security sign a couple blocks away from my house and planted that shit in my yard.... Now I got ATT security system lol
Just conceal carry around the house don’t need a permit for that. Shit does happen anywhere anytime and to anyone. Always expect the unexpected shits real.
lol what if you say a name and then a person with that name actually lives there? 😂
I can't imagine anyone risking prison for change from a cup holder.
Why is it, some or most of these thieves sound uneducated??
Really? I thought most of the thieves are Harvard graduates
How long do you think you need to be in school to be articulate? My son hasn't even started school and he can speak the white man's English pretty darn well.
Gerry K Because most criminals commit crimes to supply themselves or their family, because they live in poverty. Because they're poor, they most likely don't go to school or at least not a good school.
Gerry K If they were educated they wouldn't live lives like that
Blondehuntress truth
ALSO DONT OPEN YOUR DOOR TO STRANGERS.STAY BEHIND THE LOCKED DOOR AND ASK"WHO IS IT?"If you dont recognize their voice & dont know who they are DONT OPEN THE DOOR TO THEM.Dont open your door to strangers.Instead go out the back door and call the police.
Last Guy who tried to robb me got to feel 17 rounds of a AA-12 full automatic Shotgun, and 72 land mines
