- It's no secret that I love HTVRONT products. They now have a compact hat press that doesn't break the bank AND is easily stowed away for those who are space compromised like me!
There's lots of videos demonstrating how it works with heat transfer vinyl, but what about patches with strong adhesives like Hydbond? I put it to the test, and it's no shocker that it worked great!

FOR FREEDOM!!! lol!!!
I have a screenprinter attachment for my xTool S1 that I need to break open. I haven't tried it yet. It got in Tuesday and has been teasing me all week long.
I’m really thinking about getting this little machine and I was curious about patches. Where would be the best place to get patches already made?
I'm not entirely sure who to recommend for that. I have just been making my own for the longest time. I'd be wary of anything that doesn't have some super strong adhesive on the back in any case. The premade patches usually fall off - if the complaints in vendor groups are to be believed.
I dont see the info on what glue ? Am i missing it ? Thanks
Hydbond! The link is in the description, but here it is just in case: hydbond.com/

But in all seriousness, I chose to do patches for this video, because so many demonstrations already highlight how HTV can be used. These leatherettes and corks with thick, industrial fusible backings are something that a lot of laser shops will use with big industrial hat presses that cost well over $1,000! I wanted to really test this little press out and see what it could do. Really the key to any heat press device is ample, correct pressure and even heat distribution.
