Man, keep growing your channel, my friend. I totally enjoyed this video. You're going to do well. We're actually shopping for heat presses as we speak. There is a TON to choose from.

Wow, I really really appreciate hat man! Means a lot to read that. Definitely a bunch of options out there, but I really think with Hydbond and a leather that's not too thick(2.5oz-3.5oz range) that there's presses out there that can get the job done without breaking the bank. Let me know if you have any questions on some and I'll tell ya if I have some insight.

No instructions came with the Lonestar Adhesive. So I used the same numbers that I use for Stahls' patches 320/280 30 seconds. I found out it should have been 45 seconds. That extra 15 seconds is crucial. I let the caps sit 24 hours to cure. I then tried to pull one of the patches off one of the caps. With only MODERATE pulling, the patch came right off. The adhesive did not adhere to the leather. All the glue was baked onto the cap. Huge bummer. Outrageous that Lonestar would not include Instructions with that adhesive. I am beyond pissed.

i wonder if the same fish glue Luthiers use for guitars. it's like an easier to use liquid hide glue.

Dont use non stick paper. Any increases in paper, will leave marks on the leather

After about 10,000+ leather patch hats, I've never creased or left an impression on my leather patches. I could see that happening though if I used less than a 3.5oz leather.
