I just found this channel, what a good dude to share his wealth of knowledge with no b.s. I'm subbed I'm learning so much about this hobby, you can learn something everyday and still not know anything in the grand scheme of things. Very nice to find someone with such knowledge to freely share it with all of us. Thanks for your hard work on these videos, it's appreciated. ✌✌
Thank you for your wisdom Jerry!! I love your videos. I hope I get to meet you one day!! You always send positive vibes and promote unity in our basehead community. Thank you brother 😊
I am wanting to build an enclosure for my wife's 2013 Dodge Journey. Where is the best place to put the port? Out the top or out the back ? I value your opinion, and have learned so much from your videos. Love talking with you at Sundown this year. Bass On Bro !!
Im stuck pretty much to 12 inch subs----I always build a 2.5cf after displacment ported to 32-33hz on every one I would run. I would use 15's if I could---The only and the only reason is for alittle more money more bass or less amp power for the same amout of bass. = more bang for the buck.
Very true and its not hard to figure out what your box is tuneed to eirher just download a test tone generator to your phone ...i built my box 6.5 cubic feet double baffled and braced with a front facing bottom port...28-30 HZ 18 inch American bass VFL18....I think everything rap wise sounds great and the lows are definitely there ...But only with all my windows down ......crew cab dodge ram ..I do not like how mine sounds with windows up ...Im just a regular guy thats been learning for years and probably do not know what im talking about lol
lots of testing, basically you'll have to test with a few different port lengths, say with a simple ported box tuned at 32hz you peak at 42hz, in cabin, so tune to 36hz and you peak at 51hz and gained 1db then you're getting in line with the cabin frequency , so you just keep testing that way til you max out the gains,.
Check this out on your 12" subs & tell me if they bump to your satisfaction at 75% volume. Here is the link to the video. ruclips.net/video/h4nplSfCQWk/видео.html
You speak tons of truth brother, the best part of this whole thing is learning new stuff.

The best is the playlist on youtube or spotify that say "songs that bump on ____" and then you try it and you felt ripped off until you learn 🤣
