I have 2 of the NVX VCW15's, rated 1500 watts each, on a JP13. I got 150.2 on music. They get loud, but what impresses me the most is the SQ. I love bass, but I love metal, too. The accuracy of the double kick at high volumes is astounding, tbh. Ive never smelled them except when i get into hard clipping with the amp. Im on stock electrical for now, but after i fix that, Im gonna strap 2 JP13 together on those 2 subs. I have no doubt that these subs will take that power.
Harmony Monolith, picked up 15s for $265 each 3 inch 8 layer 65 mm long coil with 20 mm top plate 306oz magnet daul spider carbon fiber glass cone, the thing is a beast in the 30-40hz range

I’ve had good results with Sundown E series off the yard sale. At $110 each for the 12’s I have 4 D2’s in a 8.75 cu ft box and did a 150 legal score with a Sundown SIA 3500d.

The resilient sounds platinum will hang with the best of them. I have a c pillar 6th order tahoe. I had some crossfire xsv2 18s and it did well but switched to the plats and it came to life. Iv had them on a 15k at .4 and two 8ks and they have took everything i throw at them and its does a 155 sealed. Cant complain from the c pillar with 2 subs.
Loved the dga15s. Loved the dga8s as well. Way way underrated. The dgas have world titles as well. Many dga builds here in houston..love your vids keep up the great work
Running 2 American Bass XFL 1244's on a Taramps smart 3k, they're awesome! They're $250 now. Think I need another battery and a smart 5k instead though it's never good enough lol. Advertised at 1000w rms showed up and they're 1500rms so even better than I thought!
Dayton audio... both the max-x and the ultimax series are amazing for the $. They claim lower power ratings but take WAY more than rated for. And have a 5 year warranty
I had the Newer XFL 15's for a while on 5k and they were really good: got low, loud and didnt need much power. The only thing is they hated taking alot of power for extended periods especially playing the lows lol. the VXF from skar are good too, take a power alot better than the XFl's and get low. They aren't as efficient but get louder than the XFls with more power for sure.
Idk why ppl sleep on audio txx bdc4 I have 2 12s and jp33 amp wire down 2 1ohm and it takes all 4000 watts like a champ all days and breaking everything in my car lol
Those quad stacks from ap are probably the best sounding, most power handling & surprisingly musical subs anyone could get for the money. Somehow they seem to get a couple db's louder than Anything in their class

I have the RS Team 18s, I just lost em to cone failure cuz I bottomed them out. But I got some dirextronix custom coil epoxy reinforced recones I'm gonna try out. The coils are supposedly designed in Europe and hand hand made and go s long way to helping with the efficiency issues over the stock coils. Can wait to get them in and playing and see if I gain anything. Thanks for the content

I’d love to hear your thoughts on CT Sounds. Their Bio 12” is really nice for less than $100. I’d compare to a Black Diamond, which does worse than the CT Sounds. Same price though. I ran them on the same amp (only 400 watts rms), and the BD clipped sooner and smelled very pronounced. Also the dust cap got much warmer on the BD, after a few songs. CT Sounds sub held in better. Would love to try their better quality gear
my homeboy has a full CT sound biuld I think he has 2 sets of 3ways meso 15 with a set of ct horns def good sq... nice high sharp amd slammed I have all jl audio equipment 3 13w7s and that one 15 was impressive
I've never tried them out personally. But I feel like the crossfire c7 series would fare rather well. Given their reputation in the car audio world. They're not necessarily the cheapest sub on the market. But they are far from the most expensive. And with their reputation over the last 30 or so years, I feel like it would be an excellent product to review. Not many videos of them on youtube. Right now I have two different cars with two different subwoofer setups. One is a pair of the original kicker L7 solo barics. Tuned to about 36 HZ and roughly 7.2 cubes net before port displacement. And the other car is running a pair of sundown SA15d4 rev 2s tuned to about 35 Hertz in about 7.5 cubes net before port displacement. They both sound rather good. Haven't had a chance to really push either one to their limits yet. I do have to say the Sundowns get down way harder than the kickers ever will.
I just bought 2 american bass XLF 12s and a tara 5k smart amp and they are nasty . I've never used any of the higher audio equipment. But as of right now I'm satisfied with what I have I'm wanting it to get more windier right now it's all SPL.
Im waiting on a trinity audio TAS-M18 to come in the mail, be taking my american bass comp 18" [yellow cone] out to check out the trinity...650 oz magnet looks like a beast!!No complaints on the american bass at all..Just wanted to try a higher excursion subwoofer out..2000 rms 6000 peak on the trinity

I have four Down4Sound 225w rms bullet speakers on a Taramps 440x4 amp & they can get loud lol as for a sub, I got a Skar VXF 15 on a Diablo 8500w & any bass boosted song shakes my whole entire car
Audiopipe has surprised me. I don't run them but I've heard them do well and I've handled a couple and they seem relatively solid and beefy. I think American Bass is probably the go to for budget subs though. I've never heard them but Directronix has hybrid Sundown E series that look very good for less than $150. If I had to start over tomorrow with a very small budget I'd probably buy 4 of them.

I have two kicker comp r 12 factory ported box. An l7 q class 15 prefab box pretty small box. Jp23 1.5 amp, 0/1 tinned ofc power and ground, xs3400 battery, mechman 400 amp alternator. Sounds okay but feel like it should be louder. Still learning but totally lost on how to build a good sub box. I believe that is what I need to do for the l7 q class 15 or build one for two 15/18 rs platinum's. Then lipo battery bank and better amplifier.
Let me help you out. To build a good box 1. The box must be solid and not flexing. 2. The box must have the proper airspace for the sub. 3.the box must not have air leaks

I am just now getting back into car audio but nothing like what your doing ....been mid 90s threw early 2000s since I ran any aftermarket stuff ....built a 96 s19 ext. Cab back then put a JL 15 in a subzone slot ported box with an old but reliable Rockford punch 150 and a kenwood performance standard 1000 ab and it was nothing like you have but it got a lot of people attention ...all second hand pawn shop stuff I am not nor have I ever been rich ....but I am 47 now pretty decent job ....and really like your channel and how you just speak your mind like it or not ...wish I had your knowledge but I am OK for someone who had to learn on the fly because I never could afford a sound shop custom shop whatever you wanna call it install....and boy did they use to hate to see me coming back in the day ....because I worked at a body shop and people would hear my second hand stuff see my install and eventually started buying from local custom shop and asking me to do their install....most time I turned it down but did help few people on budgets along their way ....anyways u seem like kinda dude I would hang out with so like I said if I can figure it out (not a big tech guy) I will send some money your way ...and if you want put my name on your build great if not build it like you want it ....not contributing just get my name on your build ....just try help what seems be a decent guy live his bass head dreams
B2 rage and even rage XL if you wanna spend a little more. Not the most budget subs but they're basically the best you can get and around the same price as g2s and in the same class
Wolfram subs are cheap with serious poundage. I'd have gotten the HG 12s but out of stock everywhere. Currently running 2 Wolfram AG 12s (1250w rms each) killer subs. Have a pair of DS18 EXL XX12s going in tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing how they do.

(Installed new ones earlier this month.) Great amps. Selling the 3k, 125x4, and the pair of AG 12s. Should be good for a couple bucks.
Hey man when you do this build i was wondering if you were interested in custom Woodburnt art beauty panels? I make them from either 1/8th luan or 1/6th inch hdf board.
I got 4 r.s. team 15,s and the only complaint I have is the weight. Besides that, they pound like nothing I ever had before, they are low end pounders, i haven't had the platinum, I guess they come close to the teams,, but without the weight,but a budget sub I've had for a while is the power acoustic mofo. I put 2 in the proper sized box, in my yukon , and I dam near wanted to cover my ears.those subs are good say from the 34hz to 45hz range .they not very good on lows at all, and not very musical.
I have a pair of G2 Dynamics Genesys 12's on a Taramps Bass 15k and they're doing good. How are the synergy subs holding up? My old time favorite budget sub is or actually was the soundqubed hdx3's but they're closer to the Genesys in price and I like the Genesys better
I started with Skar ZVX...budget friendly, decent outcome...switched it up with Resilient Sounds Platinums. Still in the process of rebuilding, but I'm sure it's gonna do well!! From a single ZVX15 n a 4th, now 3 Platty 15s, flat wall...06 WK Jeep, JeepGang!! U made me a believer of the G2 Genesys!! I wulda probly went that route if I wulda known B4...but these Plattys do extremely well from wat I've seen & heard... when it's done I'ma tag u...wuld love 2 run akross u 1 day & switch demos!! MayB n the near future, I'ma go 6th, 4 15s!! Also, let's mention DB!! Same price range as those that were talkd bout n this vid...$500 area
I just got to xfl 12 on a D4S JP23 with all stock electronics in the car. No big 3 stock alternator with 0ga power run into the amp and they hit hard. 4cub box ported at 32h. Once I get my volts up I can only imagine how they going to sound

Audiopipe BDC4.. I have 4 6.5s in a DFS profab in my daily and it slaps and gets surprisingly low. It plays down to 20 ish really well. 144DB from the trunk sealed on the windshield. I’m clamping 1k. They surprise everyone.

got 2 of em in a 6th order, didnt throw any serious power to them yet. What caused them to bottom out? Too big of an enclosure or playing too low?

I got 2 rs platinum 12s and on a taramps bass 8k and they slam. Did 147.7 sealed and 150.1 window down dropping to 13.1v
B2 rage and even rage XL if you wanna spend a little more. Not the most budget subs but they're basically the best you can get and around the same price as g2s and in the same class

I got a pair of NVX VCW 15's on an arc audio 2500.1 sealed 1.7 cubes, and they get decently loud, for 200 bucks each, they are not bad.

Wolfram subs are cheap with serious poundage. I'd have gotten the HG 12s but out of stock everywhere. Currently running 2 Wolfram AG 12s (1250w rms each) killer subs. Have a pair of DS18 EXL XX12s going in tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing how they do.
Good luck they are done for. Business is no more once JP at D4S sells what wolfram stock he has that’s it no more.
@@ZigzagPlatoon yeah I know. Wanted to scoop what I could. Grabbed an AW 5000 and an AW 250x4. Next amp leaving wolfram. Likely for ds18 amps. Had a Wolfram W3000.1 and W 125.4 in my car since 2019. (Installed new ones earlier this month.) Great amps. Selling the 3k, 125x4, and the pair of AG 12s. Should be good for a couple bucks.

I got 4 r.s. team 15,s and the only complaint I have is the weight. Besides that, they pound like nothing I ever had before, they are low end pounders, i haven't had the platinum, I guess they come close to the teams,, but without the weight,but a budget sub I've had for a while is the power acoustic mofo. I put 2 in the proper sized box, in my yukon , and I dam near wanted to cover my ears.those subs are good say from the 34hz to 45hz range .they not very good on lows at all, and not very musical.
I have a pair of G2 Dynamics Genesys 12's on a Taramps Bass 15k and they're doing good. How are the synergy subs holding up? My old time favorite budget sub is or actually was the soundqubed hdx3's but they're closer to the Genesys in price and I like the Genesys better

I started with Skar ZVX...budget friendly, decent outcome...switched it up with Resilient Sounds Platinums. Still in the process of rebuilding, but I'm sure it's gonna do well!! From a single ZVX15 n a 4th, now 3 Platty 15s, flat wall...06 WK Jeep, JeepGang!! U made me a believer of the G2 Genesys!! I wulda probly went that route if I wulda known B4...but these Plattys do extremely well from wat I've seen & heard... when it's done I'ma tag u...wuld love 2 run akross u 1 day & switch demos!! MayB n the near future, I'ma go 6th, 4 15s!! Also, let's mention DB!! Same price range as those that were talkd bout n this vid...$500 area

I just got to xfl 12 on a D4S JP23 with all stock electronics in the car. No big 3 stock alternator with 0ga power run into the amp and they hit hard. 4cub box ported at 32h. Once I get my volts up I can only imagine how they going to sound

Audiopipe BDC4.. I have 4 6.5s in a DFS profab in my daily and it slaps and gets surprisingly low. It plays down to 20 ish really well. 144DB from the trunk sealed on the windshield. I’m clamping 1k. They surprise everyone.
