Procrastination my biggest enemy. Got a half wall in my truck box just sitting there wire hasn't been ran since I pulled it out. Been sanding truck for paint. Haven't touched in 3 weeks
Gotta put a roll on top of that port ! .and angle a board in back of the box ,,up top ,,behind the port .. Will push it forward alot better! . Hope this helps . Good luck!

Last time I had the fitmenr problem I took a drill with a wire wheel around the hole until it just barely slides in, low speed, go around the hole like 3 times at medium speed then check the fit But I don’t have a router
I didn't have good luck with one of my recones for my DS18 exl-xx12.4dhe. Other than that they are AMAZING subwoofers. The coils were fine after they blew. The soft parts are a different story. I guess that's what I get for playing 15hz on a 11k watt amplifier. 🤷🏽♂️
Put hyanka in the doors they got oro level 6.5 and 2 way 6.5 and 3 way 6 by 9s that take 200 watts a d they will send for free if u mame a video about it.

I just checked and myrtle beach is actually a 5 hour drive from me, after gas there and back the trip would actually cost more then a new one, would you do $90 shipped? That should be more or less enough to cover shipping thru FEDEX or UPS

because you need amperage to maintain the voltage so when you ask the alternator to produce more voltage itll supply the same amperage but at the higher voltage only
Voltage is just voltage but amperage is how much current the alternator puts out. It’s the difference of filling a swimming pool with a straw vs. a fire hose
I think ds18 hate is not really justified, imo its from there budget line, there higher end stuff is really nice high performing gear but there budget entry level stuff has no rhyme or reason, im not saying its bad gear per se its just they obviously just pick n choose what the vendor has available and slap there name on it, its quite common in budget car audio products, then with there high end they obviously have imput on the design there not going to sell a turd as a flagship products and there high end is as solid as anything out there. They gotta keep the lights on and its hard only selling $1000 subs especially when the economy sucks. Thats why jacob started selling the E & LCS line there affordable and sell fast quick money, even aup n comming Jacob fanboy on a really tight budget can have that coveted genuine Sundown dust cap....could save some money n buy a sundown dust cap n some e6000 glue off ebay n slap it on that $30 Jensen sub from wally world lol. Theres a reason BOSS Group is the largest most successful car audio brand in the world they pump out and sell tons and tons of cheap as shit to un aware folks, i will say boss stuff is fairly reliable but making a 200w gear hold up isnt hard. Unfortunately there are sooooo many people out there that have zero clue what there looking at and boss lies about the performance and rips em off. How they can legally do it i have no idea, i think a class action suit for boss maxxonics and epsilon is plausible that would stop there insane wattage lies but as long as people look the other way an say whatever itll continue to happen. At least the dyno videos proved there all lieing. I really like those double x subs nice looking driver, should do pretty good. Oh a super cool idea with that pain in the ass job of opening that sub hole up bobby gately took a flush trim bit and put a slightly smaller guide bearing on it so every pass it took a 1/16" off, then if needed you can take regular flush trim bit to match it up, ive never tried it but everytime Ive had to do it i wish i had dug my thumbs out n picked up a router bearing kit.

Autotech alternators should have one. I just got my 370 from them. Haven’t had a chance to put it on my armada.
The ds18 pro-x8bm's would good nice with the color scheme of can't get right because they have the red bullets.

njce build,i need two 500 amp alternators for 2002 ford 150 because i run a 8 pill amp for cb ,it pulls alot

You can play 15hz on any size amp, it’s about matching that power to the sub, and proper enclosure. Ported box or bandpass ?
