This week I got to get back to work on the 1960 Plymouth Fury project, and work continues on the 1974 Ford Boogie Van project as well! We also got a chance to stop by Tom's place to check in on progress on the 1960 Chevy Impala.. I'd have bought something long ago if shipping costs to the US were not as expensive as the item sought. I've been enjoying your inspired idiocy for several years now. Please do not grow up.
Dear T. O'F. 👍👌👏 Well said. I love it too. What a big/huge of effort and love is needed o fabricate this. Simply fantastic! Best regards, luck and health.
Scott, This video is just pure class, The 1960 Fury is a work of art and shaping arches on the boogie van WOW!! You just dont see these skills anymore. Thank you so much for letting us all see this, just took me back 40 years. God Bless you Sir from South Coast England.
I've never been into the whole Mopar thing...but I've always liked watching your content (and your dogs), and I have to tell you that you have struck a home run on the 60 Fury project. Your workmanship is amazing how you put this car together. Nice job dude. Seriously. Impressive work from start to finish.
The sound of a steel wheel ‘clanging’ on to a cast iron brake drum brings back old memories and a couple of tears. I remember helping my dad in the 1950’s do brake jobs ( he was a soft spoken and serious mannered, ex WWII U.S. Army mechanic and war time combat truck driver ). I can still hear him say “ just take one brake drum at a time off son, so you don’t get mixed up “. Aluminum wheels and disc brake hubs sound completely different ! He told me about setting the points on the old ‘Deuce and a half’ trucks with a matchbook cover and gapping spark plugs with a an Army ‘P38’ ‘C’ ration can opener. He said they were exactly .032’ by government specs. right over the U.S. stamped symbol.
Keith Schneidly yes, and sometimes under a great deal of pressure without all of today’s modern tools. My dad all his life was calm under any kind of pressure.
WOW. Any Concourse de Elegance would be proud to have this car on their show field. The work you did on this car, most body shops would have ran like hell from this car when you started. From then to now is mind blowing. Absolutely Gorgeous. You should compile all the videos on this beauty into a special video. That I would buy. And watch over and over. Well done , from Bill in Pennsylvania.
"Are you sanding rims or going to Walmart?" LMAO!😂 The tires on the Plymouth look amazing!!! Changes the whole look! Lovin' the Boogie Van! The window is a must! The fiberglass and bondo application turned out great! Painters tape and shop towels-the standard of excellence for all your resto needs!
Ah, you made it! This was worth waiting for Scott. The wheels and tires make that Fury come alive. I still marvel at the masterpiece that splice has turned out to be. The van is really moving right along and the ‘60 updates are fun as well. Now I have to wait a whole other week for my next episode of CWM. 🍺☮️👍
Mom loved to tell the story of dad changing a left front flat tire on their '57 Plymouth wagon, and breaking off two studs before he'd believe her that they were left-hand thread.
“Not here to fix the sink”, classic! Scott, you looked a little nervous with Tom overseeing the mounting of the Fury tires. The new wheels/tires look great!
Table with the Boogie Vans........with a number in the ashtray ......Priceless !! Fury action is looking great ...... Tom has a treasure... Frankers is a Star!
you are one seriously talented guy , i have to say seeing the new WW's going on that beautiful car almost brought a tear to my eye ! , i will be honest , when i first started to watch this restoration from the beginning i honestly would have bet the farm that it would go as far as cutting the bodies up and that would be the end of that , instead i just was totally hooked and mezmorized by your extreme raw talents , this is by far one of the best restoration channels period , and the Citroen , omg forget about it
That's a great idea for a spray rack to paint the rims on! Fantastic enginuity for sure! Those new wide whites just really cap her off! Like the cherry on top of the cake! I'll be getting you a lift for one of your future birthdays, you just have to act surprised when the workmen show up to deliver and install it wherever you want it! I love those Cragar SS's on anything! Thanks again! Especially not looking like the plumber!
Excellent work Scott! And to all of the agents! The wide white walls just made the Fury pop even more. Boogie van is fantastic! I remember when you built the corners for the van. They look awesome! And your artistic abilities shined thru one shaping of the flares. The ending is kool! Who built it!? Thank you Scott and the other agents that stop by and help! And to Tom. Like his Impala. That 283 is a good running motor!
I agree with Jim about the Ford gas tank strap bolts in the back and distributors in the front. So much easier to access! The Fury looks fantastic with those wide whites and wheel covers.
Jim said zog about the rear bumper rubber trim. Is that Canadian for zigzag....like zed not zee? Jim said it got the t’s, tank and tires. What a tease. 🇨🇦😏🇺🇸
Well I'll be gummed dipped! Great Plymouth action, those wheels just make the car pop. Boogie van with amazing bondo action and Tom's own bodywork skills. God you guys are all so talented, worth the wait ... best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Wanted to congratulate you guys for the archeology/time travel moments. You really look like the people I used to see in my Dad's body shop back in the 80s. Thank you for showing us the work, and that these cars can be saved. Btw, you have a unique voice, that sounds like a reporter for the crime beat (that's a throwback term ) for CityTv news in Toronto in the 1980s, the late Mark Daly (look him up).
Just watched a 2005 Stephen King movie, Riding The Bullet, and your Fury in Red was one of the stars of the movie. You've got to love old finned Mopars!
Hey, nice diorama ! I was fooled for a second thinking the cars were rearranged and shined up. What scale? How satisfying to watch a regular episode where every minute counts. I could watch two hours of this. Made my day. Thank you Scott and all the agents in this video. Didn't you want to at least put the Plymouth up on jack stands to install the tank? I couldn't have done it on the ground. It looks great with the new wheels and tires (well, renewed wheels). Perfect ! The van, Tom's chevy, all looking good. Can't wait for more ! 👍😎
Awesome solder job on the fuel sender float. My father and grandfather always taught me "you can't break what's already broken". By golly, they're still right so far!
Fatty whitewall pie-crust Firestones. Delicious! Always wondered how professionals painted the rims too. Now I know and will use that trick in the future. Fury is looking fantastic, and can't wait to see what kind of custom paint the Boogie Van is going to end up with...
Wide white-walls. Hell yes!! A '60 Fury *needs* wide white-walls! So awesome! Looks amazing!! Gorgeous!! And the Boogie Van is lookin' awesome, too! Love how that's coming along.
What a wonderful restoration for an amazing car! What a great operation to have watched. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. P.S. The Scooby Van is cool...
Fabulous Fury with new shoes, did you ever think you would get to this point.....It looks well.....Fabulous! Wow the Boogie Van is really coming along. When Ash backed it out of the booth revealing those Cragers and wide white letter tires, it sure brought back some memories of my youth seeing them when I was a teenager. The flares turned out great.....but then again, I had no doubt. I hope Jim is preparing the "Microbus studio for filming.....cannot wait to see him start on that project. THE CWM model homestead at the video end is killer.....I did not see any credits though for that....whomever did it.....hats off to them!
All the projects are looking great, what a difference the wide whites and freshly painted wheels have made to the Plymouth. Boogie Van is coming right along, gonna look killer when it's done. I'm jealous, lol. Good work guys!
Hi Scott, Agents, Frankers, and Tom! I could go on and on about the Fury, the Impala, the Ford Boogie Van, but what blows my mind is the Model Diorama of Cold War Motors, complete with Agents and of course Frankers, mabye it's Stella? R.I.P. Stella, we miss you! We need a 'special presentation's on it! It's amazingly wonderful! God, I love this show! P. S. Where's Dean? He's in the model!
Still in awe at what you've done with the Fury. unbelievable! Once t'wipers and TTD [Toms toothpick dispenser] have been installed, that will be all the T's done for sure. Nice to see you enjoying the finishing touches, particularly after all the back breaking work that's been done. Great work and a very enjoyable hour spent watching this weeks update. Thanks guys, Dave.
the van and fury are looking great! great video cant wait for the next..love the way you used the bondo spreader with the polyester filler ..great idea
The last 1:50 minutes with the diorama 👍👍 I've missed it at first, but read about it in these comments . Great that tiny thing. Every car-model-fan likes it.
The Fury is a SWEET OLD GIRL! i LOVE THAT SERIES... I watch you guys all the time, and I just love the channel... I'm so glad you didn't quit when Stella was gone... My uncle had a 348 3x2 version of the Impala, same color.... ran it up a bridge abutment.... it was just another used car then, but that is a beautiful blue...
The Fury just looks so right with the wide whites, it's getting close now and i for one can't wait to see it on the road. Haven't seen Al for a while, hope he's all good, and i would definitely like to see an update on the minis. Thanks for making my Sunday again, even if it was late lol
Good jig to put the rims on for painting it makes for a very flexible process. Sure restorations are fun - sub project: fuel tank sending unit salvage tedious little work. Wow nice work and so educational. Tear drop window equals "He's not here to fix the sink."

Congratulations on a big moment! The wide whites look sweet as can be.
LOVE THE MODEL YARD!!! MAN IS IT COOL!!! THE RED 57' STUDEBAKER GOLDEN HAWK AND THE PATINA ON THE MODEL ROCK THE SCENE - OMG DUDE - IT'S GENIUS!!!!
Dear T. O'F.
👍👌👏 Well said. I love it too. What a big/huge of effort and love is needed o fabricate this. Simply fantastic!
Best regards, luck and health.
Reminds me of the model at the start of Mr. Roger's neighborhood. Fred was into old cars, too. I think he had a Model A.
I'd love to work something like that into my Christmas train layout!.. lol
Scott, This video is just pure class, The 1960 Fury is a work of art and shaping arches on the boogie van WOW!! You just dont see these skills anymore. Thank you so much for letting us all see this, just took me back 40 years. God Bless you Sir from South Coast England.
yea, you gotta have a tear drop window to let ‘em know you’re not here to fix the sink
Not here to fix the sink, here to clean the gutters!.

Just from your description i can hear your father talking. I knew men just like him. Thanks for the memories.
Do people usually just show up randomly at your place? That's gotta be the most Canadian neighbourly thing to do!
Some places have never heard of covid-1984
what a great diorama of the collection at the end of the show! Kudos to whomever made it!
That's a killer diorama of the yard in the closing credits! Someone went to a lot of effort on that - well done!
WOW. Any Concourse de Elegance would be proud to have this car on their show field. The work you did on this car, most body shops would have ran like hell from this car when you started. The new tires and refurbished wheels look soooooooooo good. And the diorama is some wonderful art!
Your wheel painting hack is brilliant. So simple, so convenient.
what do you call a float with a hole in it?
A sink.
I'll get my coat.....
🤣🤣🤣🤦♂️😉
Mom loved to tell the story of dad changing a left front flat tire on their '57 Plymouth wagon, and breaking off two studs before he'd believe her that they were left-hand thread.
Geez, I got screwed on this ditch weed. But, Coldwarmotors is on so............I'll just have to roll bombers.
the white wall tires are beautiful! can't wait to see the Fury completed and back on the road!
“Not here to fix the sink”, classic! Scott, you looked a little nervous with Tom overseeing the mounting of the Fury tires. The new wheels/tires look great!
You must be here to fix the cable.
Table with the Boogie Vans........with a number in the ashtray ......Priceless !! Fury action is looking great ...... Tom has a treasure... Frankers is a Star!

Your channel proves there are seams in the time-space continuum.
The Plymouth is looking gorgeous !
Just gorgeous !
More fantastic Fury fabulousness. The transformation continues to amaze me. Congratulations Scott and all.
These videos are never just a lesson about cars. They're a lesson on a particular lifestyle: Dedication and authenticity.
Cars just make us listen.

Wow, what a difference wheels and tires make! I know it wouldn't be correct, but a set of custom royal lancer spinner caps would look sweet Scott!!!!
Thank you for showing the diorama! It was a lot of fun to make. Also, thank you all for the positive comments.
Fantastic, man!
I love the ColdWarMotors diorama in the closing credits! BTW, you ought to trade Dean your '66 Chrysler for that '59 Bel Air he has.
WHAT !!! no bubble balancer!!!! I feel robbed.... haha enjoy the work you are a craftsman an i enjoy the whole crew and all the agents
So I guess Tom's Impala isn't a rag top it's a rag _bottom!_
I'll show myself out.
Opposite of a Model T. Rag on top vs rag on bottom
Just watched a 2005 Stephen King movie, Riding The Bullet, and your Fury in Red was one of the stars of the movie. You've got to love old finned Mopars!

"Now you're not here to fix the sink" classic lol Looks great guys! Thanks..
Fatty whitewall pie-crust Firestones. Delicious! Always wondered how professionals painted the rims too. Now I know and will use that trick in the future. Fury is looking fantastic, and can't wait to see what kind of custom paint the Boogie Van is going to end up with...
Does Jim have a RUclips channel? I would be really interested in keeping up with his fleet.
It would be mostly the "same old shit"
Those wide whites are so awesome with the white roof and front fender accents. Gorgeous!
Those tires, rims, and hubcaps are so incredible looking!!!
Left handed threads on the drivers side, wow that is total crazy!!!!!!!
Wide white-walls. Hell yes!! A '60 Fury *needs* wide white-walls! So awesome! Looks amazing!! Gorgeous!!
And the Boogie Van is lookin' awesome, too! Love how that's coming along.
Indexing the valve stems is something I would do!
Someone said the fluorescent green dots on new tires were to index to the valve stem to aid balance. Not sure I believe it.
What a wonderful restoration for an amazing car! What a great operation to have watched. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. P.S. The Scooby Van is cool...
Now . . " Your not here to Fix the Sink " . . . best line of the day ! LOL. Great Vid keep'em coming .

Never too late Scott ! Just happy to be watching it. I know you are one busy guy, just glad you make the time to load them up. Keep them coming !
The model of the yard during your outro is awesome! Very "Mister Rogers-" like. Hits a soft spot for an '80s American kid. Cheers!
The Plymouth has come a long way and it really looks good a lot of hard work but well worth it
That van work is just beautiful and so satisfying to see!
All the projects are looking great, what a difference the wide whites and freshly painted wheels have made to the Plymouth. Boogie Van is coming right along, gonna look killer when it's done. I'm jealous, lol. Good work guys!

Hi Tom, good to see you again!
Still in awe at what you've done with the Fury. unbelievable! Once t'wipers and TTD [Toms toothpick dispenser] have been installed, that will be all the T's done for sure.
Nice to see you enjoying the finishing touches, particularly after all the back breaking work that's been done.

Another good show Dean. Seeing that Fury roll the years back is pure Joy. What a cruiser it will be.
Like I said before, it's hard to impress me, but the quality of work that went into this car just blew me away!!! This is worth bragging about!!!
Hey thanks! Glad you're enjoying the process like I am... Cheers from here!
Those wheels and tyres really look the part and I always look forward to a good laugh at Jim's pithy remarks. Cheers. Oh yes, nice flares too 👌
Can't wait for the interior finish you guys have made a great contribution to great car history keep up the good work
I remember the lug screws well., helping my dad change a flat in 1959 on his 1950 Buick Super.
The only thing wrong with this video is, it was too short. That was a quick hour ! Love the Fury, new outro too, looks awesome !
Truly amazing project
Whitewalls look fantastic, great work on the van buy all the team members.
Seeing the Conti and the Fury going for a cruise one by one, that would be a sight!
Finally an update on the fury !!!!!!
Love your stuff keep up the good work
The diorama reminds me of the intro to Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. It's perfect.
The Fury just looks so right with the wide whites, it's getting close now and i for one can't wait to see it on the road. Haven't seen Al for a while, hope he's all good, and i would definitely like to see an update on the minis. Thanks for making my Sunday again, even if it was late lol
Got a little worried , Saturday afternoon wouldn’t be the same, great work and love the wide whites.
Wow, talk about a satisfying change to the look of the car.
very satisfying Scott to see those beautiful wheels go on the Fury !!
Good jig to put the rims on for painting it makes for a very flexible process. Sure restorations are fun - sub project: fuel tank sending unit salvage tedious little work. Wow nice work and so educational. Tear drop window equals "He's not here to fix the sink."
Better late than never, Scott! Thanks for the video!
