Gorgeous footage! Very well done. This combination is hard to beat, especially at night.
Looks spectacular!
Such a beautiful video, life before covid
Great Titles! And Lens is a beauty :D
Jeez that's a sharp lens!
The quality of that is 👌👌👌
Great quality
Amazing!
Dude, this looks like an alternate universe version of Chicago. Great shots!
Sharp as a razorblade! I also have a GH5s and a 12mm summilux leica that seems to be very similar quality-wise. That nocticron is on my list!!
This Leica lens is best of the best ! Well done ! Just my advice would be use monopod. Your footage is a bit shaky sometimes, but still beautiful !
Thanx for sharing..so i'll start to save on it ;-)
Sweet Jesus,, so good to see a gh5s (sans ibis) with Leica image stabilised Nocticron,,,,seems like a match made in heaven
so cool. from Japan.
beautiful, I guess this was before the autofocus update in Oct 2018 though
"He who dies with the best toys, wins!" I love your toys, and what you've been doing with them. Keep up the good work!
Great footage.. Curious to know how good is the lens OIS with Gh5s for pan, tilt and other movements ?
how did you get the footage to look so rich and sumptuous?? was you shooting 4k 10bit?
What a nice city, at least in the night time. My hometown is nowhere near the same for shooting video.
Those transitions are magic - what are they (What editing program) or did you fashion those yourself?
gotta love clean shadows. invest in some gimbal you will love it
Great video. I can see problems with autofocus. Best regards, Kai the bee filmer
Hi nice footage. I notice some autofocus hunting in some of the shots, were you able to resolve that, or is it specific to the lens you used? I ask because im considering this camera.
Thank you. Mostly what you are seeing is me pushing the back button to focus. Autofocus is a bit better after a recent firmware update, but I mostly use the back button or manual focus (first outing with the lens so shots weren’t perfect). The camera is awesome, but autofocus isn’t a strong point. I like to manual focus, others don’t.
Is it in Phoenix?
Looks really clean. What iso and what color profile? Share your settings!
I updated the video detail with the settings used. ISO was Auto. The Nocticron helped keep things clean at f/1.2.
Cinelike D was the profile. Minor color grading.
Looks pretty good. But autofocus and OIS does destroy the filmic look. Every now and then i see the AF "hunting". And the OIS will bring some kind of morphing effect in the motions of the handheld movements.
Did you use warp stabilizer in the edit??
No. The Nocticron has lens stabilization though.
Why not 24fps? It would look even better I believe.
So clean. Way too sharp though.
