    I just got one from Amazon because it was 300 less than MSRP......definitely doable and now I don't have to have my car on charging for an hour with an inverter. It's funny that you just recently provided a review of the Jackery model, but the sale I hit on this one made my day! Great piece of equipment!

    First things to say are observations related to your presentation style:
    Well done!
    If I were to challenge a 'non-native English speaker' to get on a fast track to gaining better comprehension skills I'd drop them off at your place (ie., this video) as you sir speak both clearly and very fast.
    Any one person who can understand everything you're saying is a person who has mastered listening to an inteligent,slightly technical, presentation in English.
    What a wonderfull tool for learners & teachers!

    1500w AC outlets got me sold on this. I'm currently running a Go Sun 1200 portable battery for camping every weekend at my kids' motocross races but the surge max is 1200 watts. After my son is done riding his electric Husqvarna EE 5, the surge goes all the way to 1500 watts. With this battery I could theoretically charge his bike at the side of the track without having to use the 1500 watt plug in my Mitsibishi PHEV Outlander. Son could then ride a back up bike right away.

    Let’s put things into perspective, a 2200 watt inverter generator that sells for $500 (Top of the line Honda is $1100) will run an 1800 watt load for 3.2 Hours (5760 wh)…versus Anker’s running a max 1500 watt load for 49 minutes (1229 wh) for $1300-$1400. Fuel the inverter in 3 minutes and your back up and running. Sure these things cool but I gas inverter generators are awesome!

    • @Schild4823
      @Schild4823 2 года назад +18

      And you as well as everyone else in an area is flooding gas stations during disasters to fuel those generators. It gets really ugly at those times.
      I'm in Louisiana with hurricanes and hate using gas generators. Noise, danger of carbon monoxide poisoning, and dependence on gas (a limited and popular resource during a disaster) are a few of the reasons why I like to see growth and innovation in the battery/solar space.

    • @adrianb6073
      @adrianb6073 2 года назад +1

      @@Schild4823 Nope. My backup generator is tri-fuel and I don't plan on ever putting gas in it. Natural gas only. Good luck using solar for backup! If you're camping these batteries will work, but a backup solar system will cost you thousands if you plan on actually running your house.

    • @jimmytimber7074
      @jimmytimber7074 2 года назад +2

      Ya another 10 years these things will probably compete with a gas inverter. No doubt they are cool and cleaner but no way I would spend that much. I definitely would like one but not at that price.

    • @allaboutroofing2
      @allaboutroofing2 Год назад +3

      Many are using camping and such where not hearing a generator running is a huge plus. I agree that a gas generator is superior in many ways, but these battery solar generators still absolutely have a place. I personally have a 7000W tri fuel for longer term emergency back up at home, 2 Honda eu2200i for camping in the summer if I want to glamp with air conditioning, and a few solar generators for charging cell phones and smaller battery packs under 26000 mah.

    The XT60 input choice was an odd one. I ended up buying a 757 and a 110 W solar panel with MC4. Looks like I'll be living that dongle life.

    • @winjoda
      @winjoda 2 года назад +3

      I’m pretty sure you can just cut off the mc4 and swap them with xt60.
      I’m getting a 25 foot extension cable anyhow to run the panels farther away from my base camp - I’m planning on putting mc4 on the panel side and splice an xt60 on the other. Still technically is a dongle-like situation, but it has a purpose in my use case.

    • @winjoda
      @winjoda 2 года назад +1

      The 12v port has a power switch you have to toggle on for them to work. I like the built-in ports because they are always available without switching on any extra power (and there is not any phantom draw from them like there is when you turn on AC or the 12v dc power).

    • @aaronsmith2517
      @aaronsmith2517 2 года назад +2

      Maybe not. That is because of the internal power consumption of the device when the output ports are enabled. Lower external power consumption means more power is lost to internal consumption because the device is on longer.
      Will you run off ac or DC power?
      A lower max power output unit will have less internal power consumption and last longer with low power consumption external devices.

I'm looking for a Powerstation that will match or precede that. I had the bluetti and the EcoFlow river pro and both those units only gave me 2 nights of 8 hrs sleep so I sent them back. Geez, the way they promote they're units you would think you would get at least a week. After I did the actual tests, I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR OUTPUT.
