For the difficult times we have ahead... You're already way ahead of most of us, on the path of self-sustainability. Good 👍🏾 work young man.
cheers I'm younger lol
Duel you can’t even imagine how helpful your content is for all of us out here in a time of much uncertainty thank you so much for sharing this information you are the best ❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🌈🌈

I don’t know what education you have but if you went to a great engineering college with your skills and abilities your creativity would be unlimited. You are a real talented man with a great future ahead of you.
This man doesn't need a university. Resources are available online to expand his already vast knowledge base, and from his first hour researching "how to", I guarantee he never stopped learning.
Education means nothing unless you have common sense and natural ability and that’s what this young man has. University is a waste of time for people like this. He already knows
@@GES1985 thanks for this comment I’m absolutely tired of this white euro slave master institutionalized mind
Why would you want to ruin him. He's way beyond what they can do for him now.
You must have meant....he could be a... PROFESSOR!!! At one of those College's 😊
Important thing. There is Lithium-Ion, light and powerful but does not last and then there is LiFePo (Lithium Iron Phosphate) which is not as light nor as powerful but lasts a lot longer and is a lot less prone to catastrophic destruction. Anker and many other brands use LiFePo but not all. The light(8pounnd unit) might be Lithium-Ion and will not last if you charge/discharge a lot, the heave one is for sure LiFePo and will last for 10 years even if you charge/discharge every day. Big difference in durability so check before you buy if you need a lot of discharges.
Great video! I ended choosing the 535! I noticed that generally portable batteries are at $1 per Watt hour xD
Great video, I’ve been thinking about getting the Jackery 1000. At first my decision was the 500, but after contemplating 1000 really should be the perfect 1 for me since I am overkill😅
These Anker power stations are equipped with Lithium ion phosphate (LiFeP04) battery not Lithium ion (Li-ion) battery. They are not the same. Lithium ion battery is prone to catch fire while not with LiFeP04 battery.
No only do you have amazing building knowledge, you are also a Blessing to giving outstanding information to whom ever watches you for amazing help with building and products that are so financially efficient. Keep doing what you do. I will continue to pray for your off and online journey. God Bless you love
For $500 bluetti has a 800w power station which would give you more bang for your buck. Thanks for the review
Been wanting the mini. With the dual ex co sign. I gotta buy.
Get us a discount code bro🙏 been looking at buying one of these, perfect timing lol!
The end of day question:
How many phone full charges?
And
How many laptop charges?
Most common electronics
Im a Dj planing and small out door party. I use a Pioneer XDJ-XZ controller and i have battery speakers. How big power station will i need to play for 3-6 hours ? Thanks 🙏
What does an 1800 w with solar panel mean ? Thank you young man you are a wealth of information and inspiration. God bless 🙏
I feel like going with 2 of the smaller ones is a better choice, lower cost then 1 of the bigger ones. Would have the portability of the small package. If running solar could hook up 100watt panel to each. Is there something I’m missing that makes the bigger one better?
I'm guessing that if you want to keep your food safe in the fridge, you'll go with the larger one.
The bigger one is expandable, you can add expansion batteries that they sell to it. It really all just depends what you are using it for. If it's something that draws a lot of power you are much better off getting the big one.

ANKER 521/522 Poor manufacturing quality. The AC socket either shuts off every 15 minutes or stops working entirely within 6 to 9 months.
aho DualEx, any tips / your faves on where to look for info on DIY power banks? I have several old school milterry industrial suitcase like boxes that are just screaming, POWERBANK ME. keep rollin', appreciate ya!
I just ran across your video and I love it. I do have one question though please. Can you charge the unit itself at the same time you are using it to run something off of it? New sub here, thanks for what you do. Lots of info., straight up and no beating around the bush.
Thank you man for making this video!
Dang man that’s cool!!yo my man quick question I’m going into the wilderness soon,,can I power a small electric esspresso machine like a misso,,a set of hair clippers like what balding clippers and a single burner hit plate off the smaller unit??I wanna do that and a backpacksbke solar pannel??I know it’s allot I figure you can kind of guess off the top of your head..thanks for any wisdom my man cool video!!
User's comment: This power station looks amazing! I've been searching for a reliable backup power solution for my family camping trips. Can anyone vouch for the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? Is it worth the investment?Reply: Yes, the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series is definitely worth the investment! It has a massive capacity of up to 5kWh, allowing you to power your devices and appliances for extended periods during your camping trips. Plus, it has a waterproof design, ensuring it can withstand any adventure. I highly recommend it for reliable backup power on your family camping trips!
Im speaking minimalistic survival outdoors...hunting with a small heater, rechargable gloves and coat and boot linners..a phone...
Good info, thank you!👍
If you really want to run a car fridge you are better off with a lithium battery, a solar controller and an inverter. You can get more capacity with greater solar charging capacity for less money. This type of battery pack seems to be widely used in America and less so in Australia.
Brands do matter. I bought two of these on Amazon and they’re both crap. USB doesn’t work, too wireless charger didn’t work.
These are the videos the world needs Sharrieff! seriously thought I had power systems figured out and it just kept getting more and more complicated and required more and more parts whereas your guide with power systems has made me more than confident that I will have more than enough power (I went for a 2000w output unit!) Thanks for all of your videos (especially solar to power station tutorial)
nice-great-man/thanks much
Got the 521 last year our power was off uesd it 2 days power came back on put it up with 100% batter got it back out about 45 days after putting up and does not work just blinks 1%
Eh Duel I absolutely love your work man! I was hoping you could do some work on my van if I come with the parts and money? Or do you just sell whole made vans
Your parents should be so proud! You explains things so well-I'd love to see you do an interview on a major network as well. Stay well🙏🏻
The only power we really need in our van is a roof vent for when it’s hot, is it safe to splice a cigarette lighter plug to a roof vent fan then plug it into a Bluetti/jackeri and leave it on unattended?
if your looking for mind blowing power not impressive if your looking o charge low energy items then I suppose its good but I wasnt super impressed
Ill be purchasing the 2000watt this year.
2 of 4 battery packs I have from Anker have failed.
For a router that is 95 watt asus router 19v x 5 amp, how long can it keep running the smaller model
Before you purchase one, be sure to check the input wattage that your device requires*
U ROCK THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH - I LOVE YOUR DETAILED EXPLANATIONS ALL MY QUESITONS ARE ANSWERED.
Can you give me a reference to someone in Southern California that does truck/RV/Van conversions
Will the smallest one power a heating blanket for 8-9 hrs.?
Without grounding plugs you have some real limitations.
Do they only recharge with a solar panel? OK you got to that.
PLEASE HELP. I’m bout to take off in my 2000 road trek but can’t figure out which to buy could either of these run my Xbox and tv??? I saw other videos with people doing it on other power banks so was just curious.
You should try get a sponsor with Jackery, they seem to sponsor RUclipsrs lately.
I love your videos! What would you recommend if I want to use a portable air conditioner and a microwave? I don't know to much about this things.
The smaller ones wont run an AC or Air Conditioner.
I got a mini at a bin store but I need more power for my mobile nail salon .
I wish someone could explain to my brain how this solar stuff works ...wish you could do a tutorial with white board I want to run a nutrninja 700w a gaming laptop and a mini fridge...I'd love it if you could even suggest a video but you are great at explaining and your so talented..I am trying to start preparing to be a nomad in a few years..anyways great video
I recommend " city prepping" channel for this I believe it will help you get a better grasp. He has a video called " Grid down catastrophe : How much power will I need to survive" . you can put it in the RUclips search to find it.
I will also add you would need a battery that is over 700 watt capacity to do what you are trying to do. Because just a 700 watt battery would only run your gaming system for 1 hour and that's not even accounting for your fridge.
@@jasminem3902 thanks so much I am dyslexic and it takes me a bit to grasp the views of things I'm grateful for any suggestions 💝
@Catherine B this is as simple as I can make it......the power of the box is basically how much power you have. If you have the 500 one then you have 500w of power......now let's say you want to use a fridge that draws 50w of power. That means you can run that fridge for 10 hours....500 divided by 50 is 10. Does that make sense?
Better to have more power the bot have enough
I miss you bro why did you stop making videos ?
do you if we could use de anker 521 can be use as an UPS
Imma just build my own 48v LiFePo4 & Victron version into a pelicase with wheels
Hi, will it power a full size refrigerator? Thank you u really open my eyes with your awesome video and knowledge. 🥰🙌🏽👍🏽
You are awesome! Your production is on point
You steal my attention every time... ok I go willingly lol
Awesome content
Thank you
I learn stuff amazing
Love
❤😂❤
my jackery powerbank won't charge off cigarette lighter plug you have to 1st charge a 600watt powerbank then daisy chain the two
Sorry but about the AC power on the 521, it’s only able to go up to 200 at least according to Amazon. I wish it did 500 I would snatch it up right away.
Dual you don’t install AC n if you do which battery unit is bettter I live in the desert 👍🏻
Best review I've seen. Just bought the Anker 555 but this really helped me to understand it better. I already have the 521 but it didn't quite do what I needed (powering Starlink when not hooked up). I'll be keeping the 521 though, for the reasons you've stated.
The small one would be good to take on a day out picnic, but that’s it. The big one would be the minimum wh for van life if you wanna have a fridge/freezer.
Everything is lithium...question is, are we talking about lithium ion, or lithium iron phosphate?
My problem is the 110 that's on them plugs or AC sockets are only 2 prongs most of my stuff is 3 prongsMy problem is the 110 that's on them plugs or AC sockets are only 2 prongs most of my stuff is 3 prongs
I like to use small electric appliances like grill, pot, hot plate, heating pad, small heater etc.. it is hard to find 500w or under. I bought a 500w output battery generator thinking it is enough. I found that most of my cooking appliances need 600w. Heating pad works but using it causes my ipad (that also connects to the generator) to have crazy touchscreen. I was fed up with the limitation so I returned it and get a 1200w AC output generator instead (paying twice as much of course).
Anker make outstanding Bluetooth speakers as well. I love their stuff.
Hey, I’m thinking of getting the new anker 757 because I want my ps5, electric stove top, etc. so a lot of power but it only allows 300 watt max solar, would it then be possible to use three 100 watt panels for that one then one 100 watt for the mini one by chance? Also do you think I can use these for lighting, cameras, as well?
What I wonder is if a 100w solar panel hooked up to either of these power stations will keep up enough that the fridge can be run for a few days. Given that the fridge isn't running at full draw the entire time, does the solar charging "catch up" enough during the day to cover the draw over night?
I build my own portable power station.. higher capacity and for sure much cheaper
Excellent video, my friend! I just subscribed to you channel!
when you plugged the cooler into the small one it read 82%. when you plugged the cooler into the larger one it read 99%. Should have been the same for an accurate test. just saying.
I plan to get a Jackery
I have the Jackery 240. Really like it - this is my 3rd year using it.
I have the 500. I cook with a mini crockpot and use a blender
I actually was deciding between the jackery explorer 290 and the Jackery 500!
I definitely would recommend the higher watt (500). That's one thing I regret - going with the smaller unit. (240). In hindsight, I would have purchased the 500w unit..🤗🤗
Do research if money isn’t a main component ecoflow and Bluetti are far better than jackery
Will either of these operate a garage door opener?
The newer anker is better than both of these together
Will that take a 3 prong plug???
You awesome Me and my aunt Bert viewers I would like your help for advice on how to set up electrical for a tiny house we are building
Can these power banks be charged by the vehicle in the same or similar way as a leisure battery?
I live in the UK and solar panels would be plan B for charging these batteries due to limited sunlight.
What fridge did you use?
Just ONE more thing 🤔 Great presentation 👍 You've got a new subscriber 👍
521 is nice but I’m waiting on the 535 so I can pick up two of them - BLUETTI is overkill for stealth camping
Are there portatable stations that take in more watts? How do you check how much watts it can take before you buy?
Could those be used in a house? Say small heater if power went out? Thanks
Would I be able to consistently run a fridge with the 535 and a single 100w solar panel?
what about the brand "Jackery", is there and difference between brands?
I LOVE Anker, git several if their units, I even buy them as gifts...
Great information.
4:35 no, the 521 has 200w
Great video,...can it run usb chrismas lights
Is Lithium ion battery better for AZ heat when it’s 150 degrees inside a car sitting in the heat for hours?
I just wanna use it for fridge ....if i hook it up to a solar panel it will it stay on at all times??
Can you recommend a company in Michigan to install my solar panels on my suv
Does anyone here have a guitar they need to power? If so, will these work?
1:14 into this video and I can already tell that I’m not going to get any useful information out of this at all.
I think for me Everything evolves around my Suv/Camper So a 200 amp 120vott 24000watts system works for the cost of a 500watt portable And with 3 methods of recharging (solar, Alt, and shore plug in) You would have plenty of power not fully draining the And keeping it to recommended levels ....Lighting, Drawer fridge, Diesel heater 24hrs No problem
24000 watts under $500? what system are you talking about?
@@USMC6976 Oh you haven't hear of Extra 0 ? its from the brand label "typo sarcasm" They also make manopause pills to help people sit back and relax And get over "it"
@@freakyflow Just making sure you found something I haven't. I was getting ready to spend $500.
so how much power would u need to run tv desktop pc and all the things in a living space ?
Could I run a 10,000 btu roof top a/c unit off of one of these power stations?
Salute.. Good info..
plan on doing a review/install with the new anker 757?
Thanks for the video! Few questions. Where did you find a mini fridge that had a car charger outlet!? Also, why don’t the plugs have the ground (3 prong) plug hole? Finally, would you recommend the smaller one if I’m just using a heated blanket while camping?
Excellent channel keep up your creative passion 👊👊👍👌
I am a subscriber to your channel. My question is can I use the small power supply to power my backup cameras and monitor for my portable workshop. I love your idea of using backup cameras for van security and I wanted to encorporate it for my portable mobile workshop and do I need multiple DC outlets on power supply to power 7 inch monitor and 4 backup cameras
You have video for every question I have
Awesome channel brother! Very helpful.
do the ac outlet except 3 prong wires ?
