I saw somewhere the mirrors are called Warp Mirrors, so its likely this is the Warp Block of this game, swapping places with an opponent, the normal one being at random, and the gold one letting u choose who u wanna swap places with, just like the Warp Blocks in Superstars, and they also have the same circling arrows symbol and colors They probably turned the Warp Blocks to Mirrors so u don't get confused with the Warp Boxes, who are also in the game, and have a different purpose, those only teleport u at random to another player's location (Warp Box) or a shop (Shop Hop Box) And I though of something with the Mushroom Tickets, maybe you stack them, rather than having each taking an item slot, and then you can turn them into Mushroom stacks when you deploy them, letting you use double, triple, and even quad mushrooms on a single turn, each adding +5 to your roll, potentially letting you move a whopping 30 spaces if u manage to get a full stack and roll a 10, which would also explain why the cap is at 4, so the max amount is the same as if you manage to get triple 10s with a Triple Dice, but if u wanna guarantee the +20, u gotta commit and keep obtaining those to get that bonus, allies could help make things easier because they let u buy 2 items at once, guaranteeing a +10, especially if yer ally is Daisy, who makes them a 2x1 deal in stores What some speculate about the Loadstones, is that they're just useless items meant to just waste space, preventing you from buying items if you don't get rid of at least one of them manually, so that 27:26 event will just fill your inventory with those, so arguably a worse event than when Toad or Koopa Kid would fill your inventory with Skeleton Keys in MP3, though they could be used to make it harder for Plunder users to steal yer valuable items And for the time being there doesn't seem to be an item that counters Boo steals, whether that be a blessing or a bummer is up to u xd, though its possible there is one, Pro Rules mentions that Boos can't be repelled while u play in those settings, though not sure if they mean that repels won't be in Pro Rules, or they just double confirming u can't mash to mitigate the coin steals, though I imagine they gonna be rare items, so there's no situations where almost everyone has one of those xd
11:03 BTW wiggler can become red and angry which changes blue spaces on him to red spaces and bowser spaces. Blue spaces turn into red spaces and lucky spaces turn into bowser spaces. I dont know when does he become angry but Im going to asume when you wake him up too many times he probably will eventually become angry. Also the mirror item might actually be replacement for warp block because it has the same swap icon and the gold version might just be like gold warp block where you can choose who you swap with. The warp box which has exclamation mark probably doesnt swap places with a player but rather teleports you next to a random player because it was in first super mario party and was exclusive to partner mode where it would teleport you next to your partner. I was theorizing if Yoshi's ally ability would be like his orb in mp7 where you pick up character spaces on the ground and collect them, and it sounds like it's sorta like that. The difference being it's items in an opponents inventory and not the spaces on the ground, as well as not stealing them
Also Mario's minigame seems to transitions perfectly between each other. The leaf leap has you climbing into the clouds, the bumper balls is set in the clouds with the vines popping out to the sides of the platform, and the shy guy says is probably after you fall down off the platform in bumper balls, with the balls turning into balloons
44:00 - It's also possible that multiple Jamboree Buddies could use the same minigame. Like maybe the Goomba uses Mario's minigame, or Pauline uses DK's.
For the thing you mention about the character select, the only characters they really could put on the same row with Bowser and his minions are Wario and Waluigi. But it’s less putting someone who is a “villain” there and more just a case of them needing to put some of Mario’s party group on the same row as Bowser’s since they did not keep even teams in this game. After all, Bowser comes up after the last of Mario’s group, DK and Birdo, in the order of characters. Also, the item you call a Warp Block is actually the Warp Box as it appeared in Star Rush and Top 100. And in those games, it wouldn’t switch people, but would teleport you to another player’s position without moving them. So the mirrors are probably taking the place of the classic Mario Party Warp Blocks. We can presume the blue one is a random warp and the gold one is the select whoever you want warp items like Superstars had. Also, one last thing of note- the Amp in Koopathlon is probably going to work the same as the Lightning Bolt item from Star Rush’s Coinathlon, since the other revealed items are working the same. So it will very likely slow your movement down for a few seconds, as Kamek was the full stop you from moving item. This was an excellent analysis, though. And I am super excited for this game.

does 29 4 player minigames seem like not very much? playing multiple games will likely go though a lot of them multiple times which i feel like doesnt happen in superstars
Thank goodness you mentioned Toadette being first 😭🙏 The facts that Toad is part of the main group of Mario, Luigi, Peach, and him and Toadette isn't. And then they decide to put her Infront of him was just like, ":/ really?"
My guess...a full set of 4 players taking their turns, with possible board events, and then minigames would take 5-10min per turn. Plus the Jamboree Buddy segments seem a bit lengthy, too.
41:30 This is something I noticed. Here, we see all the minigames, but what’s interesting is that even though Luigi and Daisy are shown amongst the four characters playing, their Showdown Minigames are still seen in the list. So, I’m wondering, how do we get to play them in Free Play if the ally in question is part of the playable characters? For example, I thought that Luigi’s Showdown minigame was really good, but I also like having Luigi amongst the playable characters. How do we play his minigame, then? Would the game ask us to pick a character to temporarily swap him out with? Would we asked to pick an extra fifth character in the character select for Minigame Bay, let’s say? What do you think?
Great question! My gut says the minigame modes won't care about there being duplicate characters, since they don't actually join you as an ally... Or, maybe the minigame host gets a purple glow around them, like Imposter Bowser?
I haven't sat down to compare the numbers to other Mario Party games yet, but as a whole it seems more minigames can be encountered in standard gameplay than in the original Super Mario Party, so I take that as a good thing
Really good analysis as always Tris! I just want to correct you on a little detail the clip where you show the Italian clip of the Last 5 Turns roulette: on 9:49 you say that it adds Lucky Spaces, but it actually adds Chance Time Spaces! In Italian the Lucky Spaces are called "Spazio Buona Sorte" (with "Buona Sorte" meaning luck), while the Chance Time event is known as "Buona Fortuna" (wich still means luck, most likely why you translated them as Lucky Spaces)
21:00 what indicates that Yoshi is setting up the 10 coins for the next player instead of the blank space being from the player before Yoshi collecting whatever was there before?
I saw somewhere the mirrors are called Warp Mirrors, so its likely this is the Warp Block of this game, swapping places with an opponent, the normal one being at random, and the gold one letting u choose who u wanna swap places with, just like the Warp Blocks in Superstars, and they also have the same circling arrows symbol and colors
They probably turned the Warp Blocks to Mirrors so u don't get confused with the Warp Boxes, who are also in the game, and have a different purpose, those only teleport u at random to another player's location (Warp Box) or a shop (Shop Hop Box)
And I though of something with the Mushroom Tickets, maybe you stack them, rather than having each taking an item slot, and then you can turn them into Mushroom stacks when you deploy them, letting you use double, triple, and even quad mushrooms on a single turn, each adding +5 to your roll, potentially letting you move a whopping 30 spaces if u manage to get a full stack and roll a 10, which would also explain why the cap is at 4, so the max amount is the same as if you manage to get triple 10s with a Triple Dice, but if u wanna guarantee the +20, u gotta commit and keep obtaining those to get that bonus, allies could help make things easier because they let u buy 2 items at once, guaranteeing a +10, especially if yer ally is Daisy, who makes them a 2x1 deal in stores
What some speculate about the Loadstones, is that they're just useless items meant to just waste space, preventing you from buying items if you don't get rid of at least one of them manually, so that 27:26 event will just fill your inventory with those, so arguably a worse event than when Toad or Koopa Kid would fill your inventory with Skeleton Keys in MP3, though they could be used to make it harder for Plunder users to steal yer valuable items

"Oh This 200% Sister that idem is call Price Increase sticker Now I did use Google translate to English Guy that all" From Alice Ashley Bailey
I hope playing online is fun, no one I know plays Mario party 😭
The game will have a very short duration.
still hoping they bring back my handsome boy hammer bro cuz im depressed i never played smp.
Thank goodness you mentioned Toadette being first 😭🙏
The facts that Toad is part of the main group of Mario, Luigi, Peach, and him and Toadette isn't. And then they decide to put her Infront of him was just like, ":/ really?"
what takes so long that a 10 turn game is average 90 minutes? 9 minutes per turn??
Only 29 4vs4 mini games ??
It's very poor compared to wii party
I haven't sat down to compare the numbers to other Mario Party games yet, but as a whole it seems more minigames can be encountered in standard gameplay than in the original Super Mario Party, so I take that as a good thing
Long video for an analysis. Why?
Those are all new waluigi clips, and they are…bad
They sound fine to me. Sure, there's a difference, but it isn't "bad."
The one for the sticker was reused...
Ohhh that makes sense - thanks for catching that!!
That's actually an awesome final event tbh. I may pick that every time, I love chaos
@@ToonTris no problem! And yes, I will definitely do that too. Can't wait to lose even more friendships
3:27 WARIO TIME!
King of skill: WAAAAAAA-💥
5:35 Superstar's 10 turn estimate was 30 minutes just so you know. So Jamboree's estimate is an hour longer
How many minutes and hour 30 turns in Super Mario Party jamboree
Answer me
Not with that attitude I won't
42:24 The minigane 7 down and 4 to the right was shown in a short. I do not remember by who though.
The minigame is called Puzzle Pandemonium. There is footage of it by Shacknews
Thanks for the info! Will have to check it out~
21:00 what indicates that Yoshi is setting up the 10 coins for the next player instead of the blank space being from the player before Yoshi collecting whatever was there before?
26:52 it’s a random swap, You know like the And the golden is a super swap
13:48 red? That's purple
Still hoping we can some of the new characters from Odyssey into a new game like mario party.🫠
I'd love to see Cappy in his little ghost form in like Mario Kart and some other spin-offs!
