13:17 Drags on for way too long? You don't play that minigame in the main party mode. It's for the Koopathlon mode, where the coins equal how far you travel around a sprint track. The reason for the 60-second time limit is to allow for meaningful progress to be made while keeping the gameplay varied with the 3 minigames chosen for the race. This mode is derived from Mario Party Star Rush, with the Coinathlon mode, which uses mostly the same minigame rules: 3 minigames in a rotation that are played for 60 seconds each and increase in difficulty every time their played during the same race. The only difference being survival minigames happening every 4th minigame during the race instead of only once after someone falls within 3 laps of the finish (in a 5 or 7 lap race) + 1 minigame. Also, you're showing footage of the minigame being played in free play mode. When playing it there, you're meant to be practicing all 3 difficulties of the Koopathlon minigames in a single 3-minute run. You do the same thing when playing the Coinathlon minigames in free play mode in Star Rush. So, while I agree that some of the Koopathlon/Coinathlon minigames may get repetitive, the duration isn't much of a problem because those minigames are designed to be high score incentivizing.
Doesn't make sense to criticize Koopathlon minigames as "too long" since they all last the same length and it's the perfect length for the concept of the mode, to give everyone enough time to catch up. I assume you ranked them based on how long they last in Free Play mode, which just makes no sense.
Personally feel like some of these minigames should’ve been ranked in separate videos, like the Koopathlon ones for example. You seem to be treating them all like they’re all playable in the main Party Mode, but obviously the single player coin ones are made to be played in Koopathlon where you have a lot less time to collect coins. Also, the Jamboree Buddy minigames need to be long so everyone has a fair chance at getting the ally because if they were short then the best player would basically win them every time
To be fair, making the minigames longer doesn't mean the best player can't always win since almost all of them are based off of pure skill. They definitely should be shorter
One time I won a buddy minigame that a CPU had initiated, only for that CPU to immediately pass me and take the buddy with them. Kinda wish I hadn't wasted like five minutes just to get to that inevitable outcome
Although maybe Jamboree might have less minigames that show up on the main board game mode than Superstars due to that 112 number also seemingly including Rhythm, Koopathlon, Survivathon, and Kaboom Squad minigames
@@PeachyFanboy true, but still interesting how Jamboree has 73 board minigames, while Superstars has 100 (that’s technically a drop of 27 from the previous game, albeit now with a copious amount of actually brand new minigames)

Super Mario Party Jamboree has so much cool minigames to choose from, a huge improvement from the prequel overall. Absolutely loved seeing your ranking!
So here’s how you optimize the hell out of Gate Key-pers to get SLIGHTLY better odds. The chance that you guess the right key for the right gate is a 1 in 15 chance, but every time someone chooses a combination, it goes down to 1 in 14, 1 in 13, and so on. The way to optimize it, is to pick a key that’s already been tried on a gate. Instead of running a 3 out of 5 chance that the key isn’t a dud, and a 1 in 3 chance that you pick the right gate, now you have slightly better odds at 3 out of 5 (For the correct key) and 1 in 2. (For the correct door) And the second part is still only relevant if you get the 3 out of 5 chance that the key unlocks a gate to begin with!
The worst thing about Gate Key-pers is that in single player you need to get first at least once for 100%. If you don’t go first and a computer gets lucky, the game says “sucks to be you, try again dumbass” and you have to quit to the plaza and enter single player again to replay it.
This game is like if Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars had a fusion. It adds new boards and minigames but also brings back boards and minigames from the previous titles. They brought back boards and minigames from Mario Party 1-6, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. Some of the minigames are big references, too. Night Lights reminds me of Crank to Rank from Mario Party 8, my favorite Mario Party game. Look This Way is basically like Look Away from Mario Party 2, Don't Look from Mario Party 9, but different, and has a similar play style to Looking for Love from Super Mario Party.
Ok after the disaster that was super mario party...we got super mario party JAMBOREE. And i don't know about you...but this might just be the best mario party we've gotten in YEARS! Anyone agree with me?
I know you don’t do Top 10s anymore. But here’s my Top 10 Favorite and Least Favorite SMPJ Minigames. It won’t include, Item, Koopatholon, Bowser, and Boss Minigames. Top 10 Favorites: 10. Prime Cut 9. Ski-daddle 8. All the Marbles 7. Camera-Ready 6. Cookie Cutters and Juiceworks 5. Sandwiched 4. Lumber Tumble and Hot-Hot Jump 3. Snag the Flags 2. Scar-ousel 1. Mario’s Three-Peat, Luigi’s Rescue Operation & Yoshi’s Mountain Race Top 10 Least Favorites: 10. Pickax Dash 9. Nightlights 8. Shuttle Scuttle 7. Tilt-A-Golf 6. Trading Cards 5. Lost and Pound 4. Squeaky Shakedown 3. Hot-Crossed Blocks 2. Gate Key-Pers 1. Tricky Turntable
The coin minigames that "go on too long" are koopathalon minigames. It's kinda the point when collecting coins is how you move on the board. You were a little unfair to those minigames
Yeah, they should have a good jump of Platform Peril in Super Mario Party Jamboree being easier than a challenging from the original version online and mini-games like Mario Party 2 with lag never mixed.
now do a follow up skit like the previous mario party where you cook food, only this time you do it in tune with the music, show bathaniel how much you improved sinse last time
I know people don’t like that they made platform peril easier then the og but I got to disagree that it’s worse then gate key-pers. At least it is more fun if you actually try to get most of the coins and not lag behind. I still find it more fun than just random dumb luck with keys and even worse when you have to go last.
Several early picks like Hot Cross Blocks and Lost and Pound are fun psychology games that are only bad against CPUs, feels like they were only tested against CPUs
One think I wish they would do is bring back the Puzzle Mode that was on Mario Party DS, which had a remake of all the Puzzle games from Mario Parties 3 through 7 ( as well as the unique Triangle Twisters )
Remember thst some of the minigames like Which Door Has More are built around Koopathalon rather than normal Party mode, hence why those last so long in particular.
5:49-6:02 Couldn't agree more. The fact that the scores don't matter at all (at least not in story mode) hurt all the boss minigames in Super Mario Party Jamboree. To this day, no other Mario Party game has done boss minigames better than 9 and 10.
Actually, they can be competitive minigames in the normal mode, but ONLY appear from versus spaces. While they are rarer than other minigames in the base mode, they are just as fun as they used to be when you get them there.
Platform peril remake is easy sure but it’s actually fun imo if you try hard to get most of the coins. I found out you can jump over the bricks to the other sides plus the jumps at the end can be harder if you’re lagging behind and it speeds up. It may not be as good as the OG but I actually enjoy it. Plus any minigames where I’m getting coins is fun to me.
I started playing Jamboree and man it’s amazing me my friend and my brother played the mall and race track and both were great! Now as far as the mini games go I know you have it waaayyyy too low imo but Luigi’s mini game is by far my favorite easily I absolutely love those types of games with a passion it’s perfect, absolutely perfect. All of the different rooms you have to clear in a race first the easy picture puzzle then the barrel followed by the spot the difference statues then the make the correct sequence pathway and then you repeat then finally it’s the final room , it is the most fun mini game ever imo!
4:41 I think it’s because third party controllers are labeled as pro controllers too when connected so the switch wouldn’t be able to block those from being used
It was a smart choice to remake platform peril but as a coin minigame because normally it would be super easy to do it but now you gotta spend more time on the platforms to collect coins which make it more likely you’ll fall

I know people don’t like that they made platform peril easier then the og but I got to disagree that it’s worse then gate key-pers. At least it is more fun if you actually try to get most of the coins and not lag behind. I still find it more fun than just random dumb luck with keys and even worse when you have to go last.
@ fair
I'm so glad gate key-pers is last, I genuinely hate that one
Several early picks like Hot Cross Blocks and Lost and Pound are fun psychology games that are only bad against CPUs, feels like they were only tested against CPUs
Honestly, say what you will about Lost and Pound as a minigame, but can we all agree that its music is catchy ASF?
The game's already been out for HOURS, and you decided to post a ranking of ALL the MINIGAMES NOW?!?!?!?
I swear I've played Thwomp the Difference over 10 times already, why does it keep picking it
If you’ve got motion controls disabled there aren’t too many minigames for it to pick from, since the 110 counts all the side mode exclusive.
One think I wish they would do is bring back the Puzzle Mode that was on Mario Party DS, which had a remake of all the Puzzle games from Mario Parties 3 through 7 ( as well as the unique Triangle Twisters )
13:28 YO GUYS IT TCNICK3
Remember thst some of the minigames like Which Door Has More are built around Koopathalon rather than normal Party mode, hence why those last so long in particular.
Nicobbq: *Uploads a top ten for this game*
Nathaniel Bandy: I can do better than that!
Andd another Mario Party 4 minigame is on the top ...nice
YOU KNOW ITS A GOOD DAY WHEN NATHANIEL BE UPLOADING!!🗣️🔥
I have a Nathaniel bandy addiction
OMG HE NOICTED ME

5:49-6:02 Couldn't agree more. The fact that the scores don't matter at all (at least not in story mode) hurt all the boss minigames in Super Mario Party Jamboree. To this day, no other Mario Party game has done boss minigames better than 9 and 10.
Actually, they can be competitive minigames in the normal mode, but ONLY appear from versus spaces. While they are rarer than other minigames in the base mode, they are just as fun as they used to be when you get them there.
Can you make a ranking of the bosses of all the Mario Party?
Am I the only one noticing that almost all the food minigames are rhythm based 😅
i commented 29 seconds after u did
@@enriquesrandomizerchannel9302 Boy, this game sure loves food
Because they are. The whole rhythm section is all food
A lot of minigames in Jamboree are about food
Its called the rhythm kitchen for a reason.
You know the game is great when the 107th minigame it's still fun.
I know a lot of the mini games cuz of Bathaniel nandy
Platform peril remake is easy sure but it’s actually fun imo if you try hard to get most of the coins. I found out you can jump over the bricks to the other sides plus the jumps at the end can be harder if you’re lagging behind and it speeds up. It may not be as good as the OG but I actually enjoy it. Plus any minigames where I’m getting coins is fun to me.
People say the Graphics on PS5 are way better than they are on switch but clearly they have never seen the Mario party food mini games
Domination at #1. VERY interesting choice
I hope you did understand that the snowball minigame comes directly from Mario party 6 since it’s your favorite Mario party!
Wait, Mario Party 6 is NB's favorite? I thought it was the first two?
@@mariajimenafigueroa233 nope, he said multiple times 6 was his favorite because of the unique day and night cycle
Also I love the concept that all of the food in Peach's castle is prepared in the Mario Party minigames, and that's why the cake in NSMBW is so big.
4:41 I think it’s because third party controllers are labeled as pro controllers too when connected so the switch wouldn’t be able to block those from being used
Got this game yesterday and I love it for my first Mario party game
Minigame length is Jamboree's biggest issue
6:06 additionally, you cannot lose points, if you run into things like the Urchins you lose nothing
Next rank every Super Monkey Ball level from easiest to hardest!!!!!!!!!
My favorites were all at the very bottom of your list, but I play with real people
ESPECIALLY Gate Key-pers I love that one sm
12:57 yeah, its like a MP 9 minigame
The problem is, there Aren't so much for the party and you play always the sameeee games...boring af
It was a smart choice to remake platform peril but as a coin minigame because normally it would be super easy to do it but now you gotta spend more time on the platforms to collect coins which make it more likely you’ll fall
On the bright side, at least Platform Peril was finally remade for the switch.
Rank every mini game from every Mario party in their separate videos!!!!
Hoping for a video ranking every mini-game from all games, including handheld titles.
Scare Oh Sell. Probably my favorite.
Hot Cross Blocks at 104!? I have that one in my top 10 given how chaotic it is, which is something I love about many of the Mario Party minigames.
A lot of these remind me of Mario Party DS, which is a good thing.
It’s been out for one day my guy 😭
“36# boss sumo bro blitzers
By far the best boss minigame”
*14 entries later*
“22# bowser crashers”
I can’t be the only one who noticed this
i didn't think i was gonna be getting this game, but these minigames look incredibly fun actually
"puzzle pandemonium" is definetly taking place at door 30
most people will probably not get that reference
Proud to be expendable
