Thank you for sharing this wonderful view and bringing the science aspect. It is an area where it is hard to explain, personal experience is often the way that opens the channels. I would welcome more scientific research as I think it would help open doors and bring an awareness to a much-needed healing space. I view this as part of someone's overall care team. There is no single solution for everyone as we are all unique on our personal journeys. I use the phrase of adding to our personal toolbelt as a potential path to help our overall wellbeing. Sometimes we need to put a broken bone back together and sometimes we need to have the space to help heal the trauma that was witnessed as a result of the broken bone, i.e. how did it happen can often leave a lasting effect on the body, mind, soul. Wonderful overall and nice to have this concise information to share with others. Only thing I would add is although everyone may benefit from sound healing/therapy, it is important to know of any contraindications a person may have, any implants, pregnancy, etc. prior to engaging in a session. Thank you for sharing and grateful I found your site.
That’s a great point you’re making with regards to the contraindications! I will make sure to mention it in future videos. You really added lots of value with your comment and thank you for that! 🙏
It's weird that people are skeptical about sound healing when in the universe everything is based on frequency include us, there are music scientists who has mentioned already that music is able to heal anyone who is listening to music.
Exactly. Sound healing is literally just music. Everybody knows music and certain songs can make you feel happy, sad, calm, joyful etc…. So anyone not believing sound healing is true that certain sounds and instruments can help ease anxiety, depression, fear etc… is crazy.
I want to buy the spooky2 rife but at $900. Do you know much about it? I understand the fundamentals, however don't understand the difference between headphones and a dedicated rife machine. Thank you.
Sorry in advanced for the length of this post. I wanted to give my perspective as someone who is generally skeptical of these types of things. Sound healing seems to be one of those topics that have been given different definitions and ideations. Countless videos claim anxiety, depression, and ADHD healing, physical ailment healing, resetting the system, etc. You also have sound healing as a meditative therapy. There are discussions on how sound frequencies work and even the healing effect it has. From my observation, some have valid points, scientifically proven points, and others, inconsistencies. I've always been skeptical, but I have still kept an open mind. I'm still skeptical, however for a different reason. There is clear science on sound frequencies. We know that certain frequencies can cause different effects. Some quite positive, others dangerous. Now, there is one element I rarely see discussed outside of meditation, and that is the mind. The mind is the most powerful part of our body. A lot of my skepticisms on certain topics have been concluded as placebos. Certainly placebos have a lot of value, as it shows how powerful the mind is. If we are told something will make us feel good, we are looking for any and all signs of positivity. We can even create the feeling unknowingly. Now take music from movies. Composers use sound to create a mood, to induce anxiety, sadness, happiness, a sense of empowerment, etc. These elements cause us to feel more connected to the movie. Music we listen to in general can cause us to feel really good, or really sad. It can help us feel energized, or calm. We know that certain melodies, vs a specific note, can cause different feelings. A shift in one note can change how we feel; the difference between everything is good, and "wait, something is not right". That said, when I think of sound healing, my biggest perception is that it is the mind itself that allows for healing. If we are constantly stressed, taking time to meditate reduces our stress. We feel a sense of calm. From there, the body is allowed to heal unhindered by such negative effects. Now even as a skeptic, I've tried out some sound healing videos, and bineural videos on youtube. And to be honest, none of them have had any impact that was claimed. Many "anxiety healing" videos caused me to feel more anxious. Of all elements that I have observed, meditation is the most honest, reliable, and most proven element that works. As for all the videos pushing bineural and frequency, I have yet to see any evidence that they work. Which is interesting since almost all the comments seem to say it works (presuming that most skeptics just ignore such videos), it seems to me more of a placebo effect. After all, there is no guarantee that it'll reach the listener in the exact same frequency. So for what it's worth, if it is a placebo, it's doing something positive. I'm one who seeks the source. So, if it is a placebo effect, then that is additional proof that it is more about the mind. As for the physical effects of sound on the body directly, that is something that still confuses me. There is still more I have to learn and understand. Therefore I do not reject it. But I am concerned in the sources of information. Unbiased and scientifically explained/backed explanations are key in understanding. There are lots of claims on frequencies on youtube videos that have yet to prove true to me. The notion that low frequencies can cause both a very positive effect, and a very negative effect, is confusing. And the same with how a shift of one note in a melody can change an entire emotional response. If not for the mind, how then does the frequencies themselves "reset" our natural body's healing system and general functionality, as many claim? What about how our body uses natural chemicals to induce healing? After all, healing using herbs and even today's medication, isn't it all chemicals in the end, aimed at promoting healing? Sound frequencies in itself is an interesting topic to observed, though all in all, it feels like it is merely one of many important elements that contribute to our existence, our life, and our wellbeing. Though it is interesting that I almost always see it presented as a standalone healing option. To conclude, yes I still have more to learn, and to navigate through many resources to find the ones that actually offer value of insight. I still remain skeptical on certain elements, yes, but over all I believe it is the mind that is the truer source that promotes physical healing. And as long as we can calm our mind, we are helping that healing process.
Woow, such a relevant topic nowadays. I've seen some videos on this topic and it really got me hooked. I didn't try it yet but I think I will do in the future. The video is awesome and your editing, color grading skills are really really good. I would have loved to see maybe some B-roll of you trying sound healing therapy. Perhaps in a future video? :) Best of luck!
I am certain that resonance therapy of different types involving sound/light/touch in specific Hz have great effect, and a number of scientific studies are confirming it and, to an extent, explaining how it works. I use it myself. I've also been around the meditation/metaphysical and alternative healing landscape off and on for over 40 years, have experienced some amazing things, and seen a whole lotta BS. These days I am deeply skeptical of folks with something to sell. The Wellness Industry IS a GIGANTIC business with a number of entrepreneurs looking to cash in. The sound therapy and healing world is really growing, so therefore vulnerable to that as well which runs the risk of turning off folks who might benefit. That said, I was really hoping for more mention of the hard science which has been done and is being done at the moment because there's a lot. A search of NIH studies brings up a number of papers. One showed that the discovery of the binaural beat effect was first described in 1839! Ongoing studies at MIT and U of Toronto are showing cognitive benefit with 40hz stimuli on gamma brain waves, including slowing the progression of Alzheimer's disease. A well-designed study using music of 432Hz & 440Hz on patients undergoing dental surgery showed a significant decrease in stress between the two music groups and a non-music control group. Plus, the 432Hz group showed significantly lower levels of salivary cortisol than the control and the 440Hz groups. Why? Unknown, but they're still studying.

She gave an excellent description that made it easy to understand.
She did! It was also easy to me to finally get it. It’s so nice to hear from someone knowledgeable isn’t it :)

Loooove this comment !!! as someone who is learning this modality I appreciate it so much because I think about placebo affect ALL THE TIME!!!
Amazing comment.Let me say this: 1. placebo in sound work through intention. 2. vibrations and sympathetic resonance is no placebo.
this is very helpful thanks!!!
I’m really glad you found it helpful 🙏
