Did you enable cheats, ensure there are no typos and make sure you have the correct DLC installed?

I just soon realized what you did on the home cooking skill I can’t. I’m putting on major several times, but it didn’t work, but as soon as I did in Porten major just put in home style cooking without any spaces and I finally got it

Before you type “this didn’t work for me” please include the following so it’s easier to help you.
- which cheat are you trying?
- are you sure cheats are enabled?
- are you sure there are no typos?
- are you sure you have the DLC installed if it's a pack-specific skill?

@@ChaniZA yes, I'm sure, after i type "testingcheats true", the cheats enable. After that I typed the cheat code, and nothing happened..
Out of all the videos I have searched up for the Sims on cheat codes this is the best most of the ones I find are mostly for PC I still can’t believe the cheat code actually worked there are some Cheat Codes that I have tried on my PS4 but didn’t go through

I really wish I had a keyboard and mouse for keyboard controls on my Xbox One S because I HATE having to type this every time, not only because it’s really slow, and half the time I press a button, it double inputs. Why don’t they set the keyboard to not accept a double input unless a half second has passed?

When creating a sim or household. Can you change skin tone, clothes and all that good stuff or do you have to be into a household first and enable the cheats? Great videos btw
Hi there - Not sure I'm understanding the question correctly so going to answer what I think you're asking and you can correct me if I'm wrong. When in CAS (create a sim), there are two different situations. Creating a sim/family from scratch and editing a family that has already been created. When editing from scratch you can edit everything about the sims, including traits, skin tone etc. When in CAS with an existing family, you are limited with what you can edit, and things like traits and skin tones are locked. (There is a full edit mode cheat you can look into in my cheats video if you want to edit existing sims). This specific video is a skills cheats video though, and you need to be loaded into a household to be able to apply skill cheats to sims. Hope that was what you were looking for?

Check my video I posted before this one, I take you through my whole set up with details x It's a Logitech. Important to make sure whatever keyboard you get, that it is compatible with your console (there is a very short list of ones that don't work on Xbox/PS4).

Can I use this cheat skill for toddlers in the Sims 4?
Found out with issue on PS5 with longer cheats. After space is used proceed with capital letter first to proceed the longer cheats so it doesn’t think it’s all one word. Hope this helps? Hopefully I didn’t make it more confusing.

We can’t. TOOL is a mod. Sims console doesn’t support mods currently. I’ve covered mods on console and why they don’t work on the channel previously. Sadly there has been no change in support for them.
What should I do if a cheat doesn't work. Because I've been doing the fitness one but it doesn't give the pop up thing for the skill leveling up

i’ve tried this multiple times, my cheats are on + this is a base game cheat + no typos and i’m just trying to max my cooking skill! i’m playing a scenario so that might be the issue
What exactly are you typing into the cheat console?
@@ChaniZA i did “testing cheats on” and then it says there enabled and then i tried “stats.set_skill_level HomestyleCooking 6” and it didn’t work. Maybe it might not worked because i was playing the Plant-A-Sim scenario. I tried “bb.moveobjects on” on the scenario and i didn’t work either. i’ll try it now because i just finished the scenario.
Major_homestylecooking is what you need to out in. That’s why it isn’t working.
Full cheat should read stats.set_skill_level major_homestylecooking 6

What pack do I need to customize a sim to my liking? I have The Sims 4 but I’m seeing in RUclips these pretty Sims.
Depends on the look you’re going for? The more packs you have, the more stuff you have to use (hair, clothes etc). Then if you’re on PC you have the option to download Maxis Match or Alpha Custom Content and that has millions of items and options to choose from. So I’m not entirely sure what you’re looking for?
@@ChaniZA I’m looking to customize the sim by using different hairstyles like braids, lace front wigs, etc. more prettier outfits
Like I said, the more DLC you own, the more options you have. IF you’re on PC, download custom content to match what you’re looking for (check out my “how to download mods” video for details). If you’re on console, you can only use the DLC packs. You can look on the store which packs come with which clothing, hair etc to buy what you want.

Hmmm... And you’re sure there are no typos? Photography is linked to the Get to Work DLC. Since the other cheats all worked for you, try restarting your game?

I'm about to start a save file with a rather large family/extended family and friends and this is exactly what I needed! I do not have the patience or the time to get their skills leveled up just so I can start my actual game 🥲

I tried to use the skills cheats on my PS4. And it will not let me cheat my skills at all.

I have noticed that some of the skill cheats will not work unless you have at least 1 skill point

This may sound silly; but how do I indicate to which Sim I’m applying the skill cheat to?
You just have to make sure you have that sim you’d like selected. Then, do the cheat. Check that specific sims skills, then it will show!
