If it is not working for you, here are the controls. Up de-pad is to raise object, and down D-pad is to lower and object. Right D-pad is to make it bigger, and Left D-pad is to make it smaller. Hope I helped! same controls for both PS and XBOX
edit: you have to hold both triggers while desired object is selected, sorry I didnt mention that earlier!

I literally can't do it, I don't know if it's that I have Testingcheats on or what...all I see is "Free placement is enabled" and I've done it before which makes me even more mad...

Noah R You can do that.
First write “testingcheats true” in the cheat thing.
Then write “bb.moveobjects on”
Then hold the thing you want to raise, and press the 9 button to raise it, and the 0 button to lower it.

Well you can kinda what your do is turn testing cheats on and the put your object on a table and then move or the table (only works with small stuff)
1.Pick an object
2.press L2+R2 (ps4) or LT+RT (Xbox1)
3.Press d-pad
This does not work on PS4.
Carbon Asher yes it does. Gotta grab the item first. Then hold down r2 and l2 at the same time. And use the up and down arrows on the directional pad. No mods required

I love this! I did it with the little model cars so it would look like the sim had a car and I enlarged a few decorations (made a tree so big on another lot that it doesn't even fit on the world map 🤣🤣) BUT I was *very* disappointed in one aspect of it.
It didn't work in the alligator! I wanted a giant alligator in a pond and it stayed the same size even though the squares were bigger. Very disappointed in that lmao I wanted a big gator! 😂

It’s not working when I press on down depad on ps it goes down in the basement when I press up on depad it gets me to the roof
You have to press and HOLD the triggers while using the D-pad

It doesn’t work on Xbox. It just brings up the search tool.
On Xbox it is the arrows on the side not the top and bottom.

If you press up and down it moves the object up and down but if you press the left button it goes smaller and the right button makes it bigger

I actually watched this to find out if the items can still be used. My sims on PS4 can still eat giant plates of pizza but can't pick up a giant pizza box or use a giant bed even though I have move objects

its now been updated for xbox players so hold down LT and RT as he said while having the item selected and then use left and right on the d-pad to resize xxx
Edit: pressing up and down on the d-pad will make the item go up and down

Left on the dpad changes if the walls are up, right on the dpad changes if im looking from an aerial view or not, and up and down on the dpad changes what floor I'm on. This doesn't work for me. (I'm on Xbox one btw)

The sims 5 will have the same issue as the sims 4 if you on a ps5 because you would get *the sims 5 ps5* and with ps4 you get *the sims 4 ps4*
