Robby, if I had to pay $23.95 for lunch I would be broke pretty dang quickly. You said "affordable". I love you guys and I love the show, but $24 bucks for lunch is not affordable, unless, it's 24 bucks for a week of smoked beef brisket. ManMade is feeling SAD.
Cody needs his own channel on explaining the disassembly of vehicles. That would be so helpful to so many people. He does such an excellent job explaining all the steps!
Seriously, Cody has the good mindset of a teacher too, he knows what to talk about and explains as he goes, if they employ people like Cody no wonder Robby, Colton, and Hillbilly can spend most days faffing around with snowcats
You forgot to show us the damage on the intrusion beam. But this video was so interesting. Amazing to see the distance you guys go to get it as near to perfect as possible. Excellent work. Seems everyone on this channel has the heart of a teacher.
Cody does a great job of explaining what he's doing. You all do for the most part. That is one of the main reasons I watch your channel. It is entertaining, yet i feel it teaches me quite a few things. Thanks!
Good morning Robby I respect how you have a real channel and don't purposely do things just for clicks and views. Taking the time to show people how to fix a door is smart by using the old door.
I am always impressed at how professionally you guys fix vehicles. These newer vehicles are absolutely ridiculous with how much disassembly required to fix them.
I really love how Cody explains everything in detail and how easily everything comes apart and how his speech is so clear and understandable to hear what he's explaining he should have his own RUclips channel and I would think he would rock it. Hillbilly is a great person but his explaining stuff in his own talking is hard to understand a lot of the times not saying that he's slow speech or anything like that or hating on him just saying I get it he tries LOL
Man there's nothing like watching a true professional like Cody that is a real quality work bud you do just fine at camera Manning I think Cody should get his own show this is good information I would really like to know
-- Love how Cody explains things. And the strip-down of Paul's truck was fascinating. It takes me back. I was an installer and manager (car audio). Bearing my experience in mind, wonder how many times Cody wanted to say 'cheap junk that never quite fits together properly again' when stripping the interior panels. And surely, I'm both version of anti-sanders right there.
Cody needs to be on the videos more often ! He is 2nd best to Robby on his skills and ability to explain things thorough so we all can understand and his way of doing it is amazing, imo Robby and him are some of the best body workers I’ve seen in 37 years of doing the trade myself!!
Cody is showing how really good he is at disassembly and explaing whst he is doing. Robby, you're the master of bodywork. The whole team including Colt and Hillbilly doing great.
Yeah, I thought I missed the reveal of the intrusion beam as well. I am curious to see the damage to know why the door had to replaced instead of repaired.
Another fun video. Really enjoyed seeing and listening to Cody as a change. He did a great job explaining what he was doing and shows he knows his stuff as well
Hey Robby, I really loved this video as there was a lot of Cody in it working. I love seeing him on camera and hearing his expertise. As always, another good video!
Robby Even though you didn’t need to pull that dent. Since you are replacing the door. I appreciate you showing the process. Shows you care about your trade
Hopefully he's able to resell it as salvage? I assumed that's why he was fixing it, though it ended up back on the truck during the closing sequence...
@@mlindholm I support that. If insurance is paying for a, brand new, safe door, why not keep the old one for emergencies... Robby is just practicing his art on the old door after all 😉
having just had a 2019 totaled after what looks like a minor rear end accident, $27K estimate, I can appreciate the work involved. Only hope all body shops put in the effort and detail you do. Great channel thanks.
Cody is Gold, obviously has years of experience that's truly invaluable !!! Robby's metal work is definitely right up there. As I'm a classic car restorer for over 30 years...I appreciate the knowledge of fellow body guys !!
Great video. Awesome to see Cody and the wealth of information he shared. Cool to see the extent of what can be repaired. And always good to see the steps you take to do the repair without any shortcuts.
Good to see Cody on cam again. His easy yet detailed explanations are great. Your showing us the crash bar in the rear door didn't go so well though. Thanks for the demo on the door that's going to scrap. It's things like that what makes this channel so awesome.... oh and the boss.
Really enjoyed Cody’s outstanding explanations and detail. It’s amazing how many parts, screws, clips and rivets must be removed to access almost anything on these newer vehicles. Demri’s clear, detailed presentation and walk-thru was also outstanding. She is such a gem!
Hats off to Hillbilly!! I've been in the auto "fix it" world for 25+ years. There are things that I wont mess with to this day... because it gets $$$ if I do!!!
Absolutely awesome watching you work that door, that is what I really like to see on the channel. You are a master at getting stuff like that done, even though you didn't metal finish, you did an excellent job! Cody did an awesome job as well. Keep up the good work!
Hey Robbie, you should paint the back door that you are replacing. You should do it Fab Rat themed for Paul’s new shop. As always I enjoy watching your channel. Keep up the great work!
Cody just rips it, man! Awesome work, great commentary as he goes, too. I'll never do bodywork, but my attention is completely on Robby's instructions and style. Great work.
This was a very good video on just how many details are now in these new trucks & why it took so long for My Son's truck to get done as He had a similar incident. Now I Know! I can also see now as to why Our Insurance rates art so high too. Wow! What a good eye-opener! Thanks for this posting.
Wow, great video! All of you did a fine job of showing the viewers what it really takes to do an outstanding body repair. A small business owner that runs a shop like this is a star as far as I am concerned.
Cody, keep doing what you do, off or on camera. You are the mostly hidden talent of the team. A definite SME on auto repair. Seeing you or Robbie doing auto body work reminds me of a friend of mine. He's the perfectionist I'm the Hillbilly of that group, his son is the Colton. Learning from the masters of the whatever.
This was an awesome video. I haven't stripped the high country yet and a few things Cody explained just saved me so much time looking up a few things I was fixing to research on my all data. What a stand-up guy we need more of him.
Was holding out for a glimpse at the intrusion beam damage to that rear door, DENIED! So all that work on the rear door was simply a training exercise, well done Robbie. Hey Cody, your information on disassembly was spot on.

Please show how to keep repaired bodylines sharp and straight when sanding.
Also, if you going to keep adding sponsor commercials. Can you give us a time stamp on them so we know when and where to skip?
As soon as the add hits just skip 60 seconds ahead they will usually always be the first 5 minutes

Never showed the inside of the door
Another vote for more Cody. Very informative, smooth delivery, shows confidence and seems comfortable in front of camera.
Cody needs his own channel on explaining the disassembly of vehicles. That would be so helpful to so many people. He does such an excellent job explaining all the steps!
I was about to say this I would like to see more of him doing body work
The problem with Cody is his Hands more faster than he can explain….you would need to video him then do a voice over on a slow downed version….😂😂😂😂😂
That's what we call yrs in the business. I only did 12 yrs & got dam good .
Absolutely agree!!!
For a guy that knows absolutely nothing about auto body. What the F are you talking about?
Yea! Cody is a solid dude. Glad he made it back for the video.
Seriously, Cody has the good mindset of a teacher too, he knows what to talk about and explains as he goes, if they employ people like Cody no wonder Robby, Colton, and Hillbilly can spend most days faffing around with snowcats
I enjoyed the pace of explanations.
These videos are so different when Cody is involved. Fun to watch, clear communicator and best of all NO sanding. What a pro!
Cody is the man, wealth of knowledge and skill.
Absolutely give Cody more camera time, he is well spoken and explains well. A credit to your company 10/10

Ok, I didn't just miss it.
I thought my brain blinked, or something like that, and I rewatched a tad. "Intrusion Beam" damage was too intrusive to be inclusive?
Make me four!
Me five still waiting guess on Friday????????😮
Robby is just a tease today.
Cody is flashing the skills! Well done sir.
It’s great to see Cody on the channel.
These are the videos that set this channel apart. Cody and Robby are masters in their trade and it's a pleasure to learn from them.
I always enjoy a segment with Cody!

Cody gets my vote. Great narration, thorough quick and easy to follow. More Cody.

Props to Cody! That guy is all around awesome!!! You are lucky to have a guy like this!! Totally crushed it.
Looking great guys!!😎👍🏻
Thank you for trusting us with repairing Paul’s truck:)
Hopefully y'all at least got to eat the road kill, which I may have shamelessly done.
@@RobbyLayton You forgot to show the intrusion beam mate.
Good to see Cody back in the videos
Robby sez "I'm a body technician." Naw, you're a freaking artist. Just like Bob Ross. LOL
Can't believe Robby was so gracious after Paul rammed him in the derby event! What a guy. Love watching Cody work. Very skilled and informative.

Cody is so skilled and knowledgeable. We need more Cody on the channel.
Great educational video. All the steps I have never had the patience to do. Thanks for bringing Cody in the mix, the Adult in the room!
Admirable diligence and down-to-earth personality. Congratulations!

I was hoping to see the issue with the “intrusion beam”.
Never showed us the inside

Nice video Robbie and crew. Amazing how much work goes into properly repairing/painting the one tiny dent.
Took the whole truck apart, almost every nut and bolt for one Dent and some plastic!
Learning a lot about body work watching this.
Amazing work as always... I'm impressed you did all that without any guide coat
