This was awesome. I remember seeing Gary Numan at a gig before he was famous. He had green hair and was in a band called Mean Streets if I remember right. I can't remember what gig it was now, but I'm guessing it was either at The Marquee or Vortex around '78.
Thank you for watching. That’s great. I’d never even heard of Mean Streets until you mentioned them. It seems like it was pre Tubeway Army. What an amazing experience that must’ve been. I was able to catch him live, too, but much later in his career. Still puts on a great show.
@@lectronin I should have been clearer, I didn't see him performing back then. He was just in the crowd at a punk gig. He was just a regular fan. I saw him in the crowd and at the bar. A different time I saw Adam Ant at a gig too, also before he was famous, also just mingling with people at the bar.
Born in the 80’s! Thanks for the front row seat! 🔥
Released in 1979 but close enough! lol
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
Hell yeah! Gary is the king! This is an awesome cover, and a great visual production, too.
Thank you so much for your encouragement. Couldn’t agree more on Gary!
