I love Gary, his music meant so much to me & helped me through some very awful times when I was younger . I'm still a fan ...Thank you Gary & whether you believe or not ..God Bless You, Gemma & your beautiful precious daughters xxx :)
I heard this song one time when it first came out on a college radio station, U92, WVU. I managed to find it on 45 rpm a few days later. And then, never heard it again, no one knew nothing of it and other than the 45 I was left with, it disappeared until I saw it here. I guess God bless youtube.
A 1988 dashcam video (!) filmed in LA in which this song is played from the radio brought me here. If I were to imagine a radio friendly adult contemporary pop song from late 80s, this would be it. Totally unlike his early stuff which I adore and am a big fan of, but I found this track to be amusing in a different way
I seen that but what brought me here was a old video from late 87-early 88 that was my dad riding his old Suzuki gs1000 that happened to have a fairing with a radio he had a camera mount which was new at the time
I heard this song on a video made in the 80s that someone filmed about their day in High School filimed in the 80s. I knew that I had heard it somehow somewhere before but I couldn't place it. I fell in love with it even in as background music! Man I love this song.. It's so wonderfully 80s..
Temazo!!! Recuerdo estar escuchándolo en mis años soltería... estaba junto a Violeta... Ella era para tener algo en serio... Un beso a la distancia a tan bella mujer... Yo senté cabeza años después...
love this song,it suits numans voice and is a great get up and dance song can't understand why his fans don't like numan colabarations i think there great.
I Still love this song so much!!!, and Gary Numan looks so great here, I love change your mind & i cant stop too, theres loads of other great tunes from Mr numan like cars, metal, this wreckage, i die you die, ect ! Mr Numan cringes on some of his old stuff lol like this song radio heart,& this is love,& miracle! i agree with songs like emotion & machine & soul though!!! Hes putting out some great music now and still touring!!!! Gary Numan His Great live!!
I have heard this song before, but I don't remember where or when.. It sounds like an 80s Movie Song. I Love this song.. It sounds like some of the Best of the 80s stuff!!
I liked some of his more understated stuff too such as this quite original sounding. Numan's duets were often good, like here and with Bill Sharpe too (Change Your Mind)
Awesome song - just imagine if AHA or some one of that ilk had done this it would have been a huge hit - but for Gary it was during his period of isolation...Thanks Beeb
one of my favourite Gary Numan tracks. It got a lot of airplay on Radio Luxembourg in 1987 and reached #35 in the UK www.officialcharts.com/artist/17942/gary-numan/

Who didn't want to be & look like Gary Numan? This track is some attempt to be a standard pop star... much like how Bowie was in '83... it works in its time... can't blame him for trying
Careful now - I'm an American Van Halen fan who loves Numan's work. I've been a fan of his since the late 70s (when Van Halen was at it's best) and will choose Numan every time over VH.
i just picked this 45 up yesterday, having never heard it ... just the fact that gary numan was in it made me buy it ... it's an ok single ... no real hook to it, but that's ok, it's not horrible ..
I'm a huge fan, I've got all the middle yrs stuff too, the only stuff I have to say is not good is machine and soul ( the tour and clothes I can't ridicule) and this song, apart from that there are lots of hidden gems, but fair enough if your a numan fan and like this fair enough, don't let my opinion sway your opinion
The stereotypical 80's chicks in the white spandex and frizzy hair don't fit with the rest of the imagery in the video. One of them should have been African American, and both should've had bobbed hair and 60's inspired clothes, or...suits, like the rest of the band members, but then, I'm critiquing in hindsight.
goofy Numan. I like "Metal" Numan or "Down in the Park" Numan better. I never heard this 80's lame tune before and I shall never hear it again. Why did the great Gary Numan do this?
I'll never understand why this song never became more popular, it's an all-time favorite of mine.
his best
Just brilliant ❤
simply brilliant! Numan sounds soooooo good on this track
I love Gary, his music meant so much to me & helped me through some very awful times when I was younger . I'm still a fan ...Thank you Gary & whether you believe or not ..God Bless You, Gemma & your beautiful precious daughters xxx :)
gary did this as a thank you to a singer -songwriter who he had worked with in the past.

I bought the 12" on release - song didn't chart ?

The song was really cool in that 1988 LA car video.
I am here because of that video aswell
I seen that but what brought me here was a old video from late 87-early 88 that was my dad riding his old Suzuki gs1000 that happened to have a fairing with a radio he had a camera mount which was new at the time
Yes! Driving the 87 Celica haha, loved the radio seeking in that video
Same!
I love these songs they make me happy he looks great in a suite 😍😚❤
Back in the day (1987), I thought for sure Gary was going to have a comeback with this.

My dad's favourite! so was brought up with this music and he is brilliant even better in the flesh! Can't wait to see him again
Me too intruder tour can’t wait and live concert via web 17-6-2021
@@JAYMES2568 I saw that too, am still watching it 😀 regards Joanne.
Such a wonderful song. Always takes me back to 8th grade.
There's no need for nastyness, i'm just thankful for Gary's contribution to music. Why the hell hasn't he got a lifetime acheivement at the brits,
GARY NUMAN .BIG FAN .SUPER VOICE NUMAN
WOW! What an amazing performance and a great song!
Still crazy seeing Gazza busting theses sharp moves when before he never did
Thanks for posting the video. Still have this on 7" 45 RPM
I love this song. I happened upon it by chance at a record store (remember those?) in 2000 or so.
Needs more cowbell!
Temazo!!! Recuerdo estar escuchándolo en mis años soltería... estaba junto a Violeta... Ella era para tener algo en serio... Un beso a la distancia a tan bella mujer... Yo senté cabeza años después...
This was an era when he was doing plugs for Coke, Pepsi & Burger King. Staying on the commerical ladder was a way of survival back then.
Adore u Numan , Brill song !

Wow I can’t believe I was 30 when this came out
💯🤩best days
has a friggin great chorus and backing vocal
If you listen to the music you can hear ultravoxs in it
Wow, how come I don't remember this? It sounds just sooo radio friendly. I love the 80s
Me too, abig Numan fan aswell.
Love this song, got this and London Times on 7 inch single about 10 years ago for 50p each

I liked some of his more understated stuff too such as this quite original sounding. Numan's duets were often good, like here and with Bill Sharpe too (Change Your Mind)
Guy Petersen love his songs with Bill Sharpe
Ohh, that look at the end!
Yeah classic Numan!!!
Happy 54th Birthday Gary Numan! so catchy love this song, very handsome!!!!
I always liked the Romeo Juliet synth reference from 2:02 - 2:14, = )
Awesome song - just imagine if AHA or some one of that ilk had done this it would have been a huge hit - but for Gary it was during his period of isolation...Thanks Beeb
I love Gary's cute little moves in this though, and I love the girls' poodle hair strangely enough! LOL
This song is stuck in my mind nice 1
Great song
ELVIS MOVES.

Whatever....I like this
Haven't heard that one in a while. I have it on vinyl someplace.
i want to do this song with my keyboard, but i don't know which keys to press and i need the other sound effects like the guitar and drums aswell
It has an abba vibe to it , like the last single they did ' under attack' but mixed with a celebration for radio of like buggles , pop muzik
I lose myself in the night
Walking the streets in the rain.
I turn away from the light
To find the shadows again.
I see her face in the window
I feel the touch of her hand
I hear her voice say "I need you"
I guess I can't understand
Radio Heart
Play a sad song for me
One fom the heart
So she'll come back for me
Radio Heart
Send her my love for me
I hear a sound in the night
Could be the turn of a key
And when I switch on the light
It's you I'm hoping to see
Imagination
You play a cruel cool game
Imagination
You leave me calling her name
Radio Heart
Play a sad song for me
One from the heart
So she'll come back for me
The morning after
I find no inspiration
No love no laughter
Just my imagination

No Hook???????????
He really studied David Bowie for this video. It's kind of eerie how much he mimics all his moves, I guess it's a homage.
He moves so sexy!!!
that's his name!!hugh nicholson.thanks

yeah, the backing singers get the key and the pitch smack-on on this track.
Got this on 12" picture disc. It never played very well.
Is that David Bowie?
@GWM4GWM Well I like pretty much anything including Van Halen and Gary Numan.
he should have left out the singing poodles....
Great song always like this but never a big hit at the time
I only know of this song because it's on one of my 80s 3 cd boxset compilations
Phillip is now thanks to the guy who was driving through california with her tuned in on his radio 👍
hmmm.... 3 Def Leppard fans.
Actually I think this is quite brilliant ,….with dodgy dark glasses.
oooohhh Gary I think I must have blocked this out
Sue
That's exactly what I'm going to do as soon as I turn off this video.
Probably one of my least favorite songs by him, but it is still worth a listen being a huge fan!
Another Amazing Tune
A charity for Refugees
But once again for Gary

Everything about this is a goddamn train wreck! It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
goofy Numan. I like "Metal" Numan or "Down in the Park" Numan better. I never heard this 80's lame tune before and I shall never hear it again. Why did the great Gary Numan do this?
WOW... dreadful lol, the Billy Idol wannabe period... fair dues to the recent emergence.
So terrible. Gary at the beginning of his low period and that weird Neil Diamond hairdo.
