Alright, I'm not sure why this video is getting so many views/comments lately, but I think that a lot of you don't realize, even though it is in the title, that this is a SCENE PACK. For those who do not know what that is, a scene pack is a video made up of clips of a specific character, or several characters, SPECIFICALLY to benefit video editors. This is a scene pack I made of Dark Willow so that video editors on Instagram and RUclips can download this video and then use the clips to make their own video edits of Dark Willow. That is why the background music is removed, so that they can have clear voice overs/sound effects in the edits that they make with this video, and that is also why I left out certain clips such as Giles' line "I'd like to test that theory". That line would not really be usable in a Dark Willow video edit, and that's why I did not include it, along with other scenes from these few episodes of the show. If you are not familiar with video edits and are still confused, I invite you to check out #fanvidfeed on RUclips, and #omgpage on Instagram! But once again, the only purpose of this video is to give HD clips with no background music to video editors who want to make videos of Dark Willow. Thought I would just clear that up here in one post rather than try and reply to every comment.

Joss Whedon is the king of the callbacks. I love how Vamp Willow foreshadow Dark Willow’s eventual rise.
The "bored now" instantly took me back to Willow vamping out in an earlier season. Weird how a TV show can evoke such nostalgia. I watch these & I'm back at my childhood home, in my bed, faithfully watching what was essentially one of the biggest influences in my teen years. Fashion, humor, love sick drama & I LIVED for it. Haven't watched it since 😬
I understand this is a "Scene Pack" but I actually love how these scenes function WITHOUT music. It's so eerie and adds such an interesting touch of realism. Sometimes I feel like they did go a little overboard with the dramatic music cues especially when it came to fights.
It’s one of the reasons the episode “The body” was so powerful. No music until the very end of the episode. Not to mention how that first continuous sequence as Buffy finds Joyce really hit home.
I loved that, in the end, it wasn't Buffy or the power of the Slayer that stopped Willow but simple, goofy Xander who won the day by simply being there as her friend.
Xander, the unspoken badass of the series. No powers, no skills (well, except that one Halloween costume-to-reality spell thing), just a quick witted humor. And he managed to stop a cataclysm.

@@billmurray7473 Well... yes, and no. It's no secret he's a big comic fan. But being seduced by "the dark side" after a traumatic event isn't exactly a rare trope in comics.
Xander saved the world and also Willow, with a hug.
Can we be honest, Dark Willow saved this season..her 3 episodes and Once More with Feeling makes the season worth viewing.
Nah I loved most of Season 6, it’s one of my favourite seasons along with 5.

Personally I liked it when Willow became a badass, showed just how powerful she really could be.
But the showed it since season 1 lol And also, she was the one spreading the power of ONE slayer to ALL the potentiels at the end of season 7. Buffy even says she's her secret weapon in that big scene before the final fight. So she knows Willow is more powerful than her and all the people in the room.

Definitely don’t blame her at all but she should of stopped after Warren but of course it’s easy to say that, anger can really be addictive and it’s preferred over the pain she’d have to suffer though once she stopped

Willows dark arc in this season started with her insecurity and self loathing and the way it spread to every element of her life.
Dark Willow is so badass.
When she killed Warren I didn't think than Willow could kill someone just like that...
But he tried to kill Buffy and he kill Tara so...
The transformation to Dark Willow is an example of "character development." Not like the crap that D&D did with Daenerys.

What they did to Daenerys is why I'll probably never rewatch GOT. All of her character development just felt wasted and thrown away
Well, Dany had been on a continuous path to become a villain (disguised as a hero), it was only that time was running out towards the end and the revelation was not done as gradually and evenly as it should have been. A lot of viewers who were not Dany stans saw it coming, so there was definitely development in that direction.
I can see where the inspiration for Dark Josie in Legacies came from
If only josies actress didn't leave, dark josie could have become a heretic in season 4. That would have been an insane plot. Dark josies would be insanely stronger with vampire powers I mean she could use hopes blood to make herself an original since Vincent did it with freyas blood (it has to be Esther's blood or a witch related to her) and since hopes blood is equal to doppelganger blood with how it can start and complete hybrid transitions and turn mortals into vamps, it can be used alone without white oak as it would prob link her life to hopes and she is a tribrid and immortal so thats one hell of a life link

Dark willow was the scariest villain in the show
No actually it was Glory, and everybody knows that. She was a GODDESS, that's way above everything we have on earth, even witches. Willow and Tara couldnt stop her, just teleport her around sometimes. And also, if it wasnt for Giles killing her host (Ben) at the end of s5, she would have come back at some point, you know it. She was not SCARY visually, but her potentiel and how strong she felt. Buffy died because of the portal she opened...
I wish you had included her scene with Dawn. Her "Dawnie, if you're looking for me, now's not a great time" never fails to make me laugh.
And the slightly mischievous look Willow does when Dawn asks if she killed Rack and says "Its an improvement, believe me."

They did try to charge Buffy for Ted's "murder" as well as investigated the murder of Alan Finch (aka the guy Faith killed). So they did have cops but not very effective ones.

Yeah and sacrifice every friendship or relationship we ever had in the process. Grief will never be a good catharsis for murder, or vengeance if you dont discriminate friend from foe. Willow betrayed all of them in honestly the most thorough ways possible. It should be next to impossible for any rational person to truly forgive someone for such transgression's.
@@zaxbitterzen2178 I think her intentions for emitting Magiks, 1. Being grief and a sense of lost with self , losing her grip was in my opinion was because she totally gave up on not caring anymore.
No we all wouldn't. I would have used a different magic to re-animate her, Osiris is just one tool.

That season was eh but well worth it for the final eps of that season. Watching Willow going all dark side was awesome.
True story she got lot of advice on how to do Dark Willow from David Boreanaz prior to shooting these scenes.
I remember that we had music in all those scenes. Sounds strange without it, I wish you had kept the little witches chant we had when she was draining the books but thanks for posting this anyway, you did a good job.
Dark Willow was my favorite heel on this series
I liked watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
She is my favorite character as I love witchcraft! The special effects were much better than the original Charmed tv series.
charmed actualy got worse as time went on season 8 had such a reduced budget it wasnt even funny buffy improved drastically

Had they stopped Phoebe from being terrible to Cole for NO reason. The man was possessed from episode 13 till the thrid to last episode of Season 4

They did a wonderful job with the religious themes of enslavement via possession and also with liberation via a form of an exorcism or deilverance ministry one of her friends did in that season's arc.

If you remember in season 5 Willow invoked the Black arts against Glory for sucking Tara's brain so we did get a little taste how Willow will become more powerful with the black arts but here she was full vengeance because Warren took the only thing she cared about was Tara sadly to say 😢

Sometimes we go to dark places and it is when we need our friends and those who care about us the most to be there before it’s too late.
It’s part of what I like about both Buffy and Angel. They show how bad things can be and how people can end up that way, but the show also gives those characters an opportunity to come back from it
Such interesting and nontrivial decisions like Dark Willow as the main villain of the season and introducing Dawn were such ahead of their time when tv series used to be linear and predictable. Actually these are the moves typical for golden era of 2010s.
