In MY opinion... I personally think Sabrina had a fitting end. I think because of what happened at the end of season 3 and creating the whole mess that led to season 4 with the double Sabrina's and everything, that Sabrina kind of, NOT necessarily deserved to die at the end but did right by cleaning up a mess she created.
Theres really only 2 things about the end that bugged me...
1) I hate that nobody really got a happy ending, let me explain... none of the characters could truly be happy after Sabrina's death including her aunties, Ambrose, and her friends, they will always mourn her death.
2) second thing I'm upset about is that Nick committed suicide just to be with Sabrina at the end... I thought that was sending a negative message to the young audience, specifically young teens. Plus Sabrina isn't exactly going anywhere so he could've and should've just lived a full life and died eventually of whatever cause.

Hahha and there is me thinking about madam satan ....sabrina reminded her of the human feelings she has and now I think that lilith is full of guilt we saw madam satan slowly experiencing strong emotions love,sadness or happiness only to be left alone afterwards....now she has 2 options she can forget and don't pay attention to her feelings or she can struggle with them try to figure them out ahaha I am just a crazy human being out of all characters the demoness is the one I care about the most ahaha

Its even more sad when you realise salem will die soon after because they explained in the beginning of the series that familiars cant live without them
but sabrina clarified it herself that salem isn't her familiar, they're more like a duo if that makes sense

to be honest Harvey was kinda mean in this season, like when his dad disappeared into the void, yeah he was worried about his dad. but at the same time he had no right to yell at Sabrina for it cause she had no control over it and didn't even know what the void was doing at that point in time.also may I add sabrina has literally saved harvey dad mutiple times, episodes before this saving his dad from going to hell

I came back to rewatch this scene thinking i can handle it now but nope nvm back to crying
They did her dirty. Everyone got a "happy ending" or what they had coming. Sabrina was an innocent caught in the middle of a shitstorm between powers and factions, yet she was the one who had to make the ultimate sacrifice every single time. She had to always come up with a plan, save somebody, make a tough decision or give up something/someone and was reprimanded for every choice she made or did not make...every single season.
I would've been like "f**k ya'll, I'm moving and starting my own coven, peace!"
Honestly both sabrina's because they are the same person were always selfless in each occasion and when they were greedy they blamed themselves to the bitter end because she was only 16 going on to 17 baby she on the brink .
Well... to be fair, it's usually because she created the problem in the first place.

And if aunt Zelda would have believed her that father blackwood killed her parents and would have done something against him like murder him revenge is known with witches. Then all this wouldn't have happened.
Not to mention if Sabrina's parents wouldn't needed Lucifer to have a children it wouldn't have happened either.
And like someone already statet why is she the one who always has to fix the problems,
Lucifer as pathetic he is let Caliban overthrown him which lead in first place to the part 3 problem and the part 4 problem
And god creating on purpose Lucifer they way he is is also to blame, not to mention he easily could have stopped the whole part 3 problem but he didn't
You see how easy it is to point fingers? To people who did even more mistakes or have more to do in the problems?
well Sabrina is now happy in the afterlife with her true love Nick, they can now be happy together forever, so I guess she did sort of get her happy ending, even though it's not the happy ending that we wanted, but she and Nick are happy in the end at least.

The worst is seeing her at the funeral. She looks pissed. You can just feel how angry with the world she is. Definitely showed nuanced layers of grief

My problem with this scene is that Robin is fast so why couldn't he quickly go in and out to save those people? Sabrina wouldn't have died.

Just because he was Theo's boyfriend doesn't mean he had to be friends with Theo's friends, but he had to know that losing Sabrina would hurt and devastate Theo, so you'd think he'd do everything in his power to unsure Theo didn't lose a close friend.

People just aren’t used to the main character being killed off, so they hate the ending. It was sad, but it was a fitting ending, her sacrificing herself to save everyone she loves.
I don’t like the ending because the emotional payoff wasn’t great IMO
I don’t like the ending because it was toxic af, and such a bad example to teens; there was no need to have romanticised suicide, they could have just had her wait for nick. Completely unnecessary and ruined the entire series for me.

The fact her voice cracks more when she said "goodbye salem." Made me break down in tears. She deserved better and the fact this show ended is sad because she had so much more potential in the future

Harvey was in shock, and at the funeral he was very sad, Roz was crying and cried in this scene as well as the funeral, Harvey should of apologised to her, Sabrina did try and save Tommy and she did save His father as well

So yeah, he was rude after his brother died, but later he was okay till the end. (And yes, I didnt forget about the time when his father disappeared in the void. That was natural anger.)
Not to mention the fact that he dated her best friend flaunted their relationship in front of her and despite all of her best efforts held some sort of resentment to her. Even blaming her for Roz going blind like come on. Even from the start you can see that Sabrina was a kind-hearted person who wants to protect the ones she loved and the majority of them abandoned her and only used her for her powers.

I think Harvey being the way he was for just fine especially with the crazy shit he had to deal with after Sabrina fucked up trying to "help" him. Well, it makes a lot of sense that Nick did that, his family was long gone, his familiar was gone, he had friendly relationships and hook ups but didn’t exactly have any friends, sadly, he was that lone wolf bad boy type that was never afraid to die or give himself up. Look at the time when he agreed to become a prison for Lucifer, or when he almost got executed by Blackwood for the mere principle of not wanting to sing for him etc. A lot of things regarding him are sad, but at least he made his own choices...
A BIG PLOT HOLE is that Theo's boyfriend the goblin could of just ran in and got everyone out the void in 5 seconds..... 🙄 this ending pissed me off

Robins friend said that if he doesn't go with her friend into their dimension then hw will lose his powers, Robin did go but he came back but did weak his powers.

Lucifer's reaction broke my heart even more. That was his daugher, it didn't matter that he didn't consider her his daugher. Both of them were his daughers. They were both Sabrina. I remember that she even considered being the queen of hell with her father by her side and letting the other Sabrina come to the over world. He even tried to kill her.
Lucifer clearly cared about sabrina.He was venge of tears when lilith told him about his daughter's death.Lucifer tried to oppose her to go another cosmos while her aunties were happy to morningstar's chosen to left

@@ariana-bc3cr @Maria I've never said that they cared about Morningstar, but at least they knew that both Sabrinas are actually one. Also, I don't think it was one day after Morningstar's death. She went there to save everyone. They agreed to that. Also, what was she supposed to do? She needed her body and Morningstar was already dead. If she would've told him, do you think that would've changed anything? He didn't consider her his daughter. She was still his daughter tho and he decided to kill her. I agree that the writing was bad and that they were treated as twins, but there were also moments where the two of them called each other one and they were.

Have any of you remember in season 3 when Zelda was almost dead, she saw the future with Sabrina beside her bed before she pass away. If that’s the actual future, then this plot makes no sense!

It wouldn’t have happened because Sabrina went back in time and changed the past, and then never took her place in the circle of hell, that future would only happen if that happened

The only other conclusion as stated by Miranda Otto is that mambo Marie may have been able to use necromancy to bring her back

@Daniel Fernandez that is true and I partially agree with you however. In modern society it has become more acceptable for men to reciprocate emotions the same way as females do, so that isn't necessarily ther case all the time. At a time of death most people do become emotional especially if you have loved that person

I know they had to end the series, but they didn't have to sacrifice Sabrina? They could just as easily have all her witch powers stripped and given to Morningstar, giving 2 entities with completeness in them- a mortal, and a witch. But instead, they had to murder her- and mind you, they could've revived her in the Lazarus pit. If Hilda could stay dead for A LONG time during Part 3, then sure as hell they could do the same to Sabrina.

@@racquellegee8695 I think that she will notice that being queen isn't what she wants and I think she is at a point where she can't block out her human emotions(first wife to adam) and so I hope that she feels really guilty afterwards and helps them to get sabrina back....also I don't think blaming her is right she truly is a victim of abuse and toxic behaviour and having the whole "my son is dead" thing threw her back into wanting revenge on the man that is the reason for everything she losed ...you saw her change while being pregnant (she kept the secret about the time paradox )and while being a mother you also saw here being protective (yeah maybe because she wanted the thrown but her wanting to die after killing her son truly shows she wasn't) yes as u could probably tell I liked her character development up to the point where lucifer came back:) So being Queen is her way to cope with that

That's probably what would've happened if the show continued. Next season someone probably would've found the Letter Sabrina left before going into the void. Also sometime next season Zelda probably would have called her ex and ask her to bring Sabrina back. Maybe even demand that they give her niece back. She was not only grieving in the end. It seemed like she may have been angry at Hecate for not saving Sabrina as well. She even asked Hecate why she didn't preserve Sabrina.

Good news: The series will continue as a comic! Also there was originally supposed to have another scene at the end where Zelda contacts Mambo Marie/ Baron Samedi, about trying to bring back Sabrina. But it was cut to prevent audiences from thinking the show will have another season.

We’re the writers blindsided by the sudden cancellation? This ending feels pretty rushed - in fact, the whole season was pretty terrible. Such a shame, because this series began with such promise.

Sabrina Morningstar died by running through glass and then had scars all over her face when Spellman held her but had none when her body was displayed on the bed later and when Spellman took over her body? Also, what happened to Salem who was actually the Endless eldrich? And besides Sabrina Spellman, no one was actually sad about her death?? I know Caliban married her only to get to the throne but Lucifer should have showed more emotion since she basically gave up her life to be the queen, I just think she sacrificed herself the same way Sabrina Spellman did but didn't get as much recognition for it. Idk why I just wrote all that lmao I'm just so salty about the ending like it's a teen drama or whatever why can't it just have a happy ending and let other serious shows have serious endings, I watched it mainly for fun, not as a learning material or to be taught life lessons jeez it needs season 5 so BADLY please Hecate hear our cries and get us another season with happy ending

Salem that belonged to Sabrina Spellman is there... just look behind and you see a woman/witch petting him.
i think eldritch salem was just an extension of the endless, like a prop or conduit so he lost all energy when the void consumed her

It didn’t work for hilda in season 3 and it was pointed out that graveyard would run out of its magical power and it did happen in season 3
Sabrina bound her magical powers and was essentially a mortal at the start of the episode. The pit will only work for witches and at the moment Sabrina was technically a mortal
