every collection needs at least one!
True. Thanks for watching.
Great review Rider. The opening scene was epic
Once again, thanks for watching and commenting.
I once had the 4 3/4 barrel back around 1970 paid $37.50 for it used bit looked new. Always shot great and was reliable too. Brings back memories.
These oldies are keepers. Thanks for watching.
was my first pistol...wish I still had it....good show sir.
Back in the day of "sell a pistol to buy a pistol", this is one I never let go of. Thanks for watching.
@@RidersRange Right you are, regrets, regrets.....lol
Great design , I own a Mark IV , added a red dot, great shooter…
I'll be doing a review on my Mark IV Hunter this summer. Thanks for watching.
Great video. When you said you were using some Federal range ammo I thought to myself, OH boy! None of my .22s will make it through one mag before I get a failure. Glad to see that oldie but a goodie had no problems with any jamming.
Knock on wood, this oldie - dirty as it is - runs almost anything. Thanks for watching.
I have the mk1 1975 target model 6 7/8” barrel. Love it! (I don’t love cleaning it) and I won’t sell it.
Thanks for watching.
Probably be surprised if we knew actual numbers on just how many of us FUDD/former LEO's broke-in on the 10/22's and this style pistol.
I'm guessing many, maybe most?? Thanks for watching.
Ole faithful
Yes, it is.
I have the MK1 6 7/8” target model. 1975 vintage and I won’t sell it even though I don’t enjoy putting back together.
The take-down and re-assembly are a real pain and the reason I don't clean this gun very often. Thanks for watching.
the mag follower on the new ones can be moved to the other side
Hmmm....I'll have to try that.
2 handed!
Thanks to good physical therapy, I can get my right arm almost up to where I want it for shooting, but I'm still not going to subject it to recoil of a center-fire pistol. Thanks for watching.
I have a MkII Government Target model with the bull barrel and adjustable sites...that little thing is an absolute tack driver out to 50+ yards with good ammo. My dad bought it when I was a kiddo and I learned a ton from shooting it. To this day it is still the most fun, accurate, enjoyable gun that I have to shoot. Anytime I take it to the range I'm just smiling because it is so fun. Like you said, the trigger is unbelievable...love that wide, serrated feel it has. ....the takedown/reassembly however...that is the stuff of bad dreams. 🤣 Thanks for sharing! Glad the shoulder is better!
Ahh, the old takedown of the original up through the Mark III. That's why I haven't cleaned this one very often. Thanks for watching and adding your thoughts.
@@RidersRange my dad cleaned this one once. I still have all his handwritten notes in the manual. I haven’t been brave enough to do it yet. I do have a good video that Steve from Brownell’s posted years ago.
