22 Tuesday. I like it. That is a nice revolver. Thank you for the video. 😀🇺🇸
AS always, thanks for watching.
You even got a Clint Eastwood quote in there!
I am thinking about adding 4 Colt Revolvers for 2025. I already bought 5 New pistols for 2024. 🤔😊🇺🇸.
Keep up the Fantastic work Sir! & You Stay safe out there.
Beretta SR.
I'd rather add a few "old" Colt revolvers - circa 1960-1985 - but they are WAY to pricy now.
Like , Share , Comment !!!! Another well done informational video. Thank you
Thank you very much for watching and helping the algorithm.
Ty for the video. I just purchased the 6 inch model. Trying to find a new 22 lr revolver of any brand is near impossible. This is a keeper ❤️
Very nice looking revolver! Smooth action , Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching.
Looks like an absolutely sweet 22 revolver! Also I can confirm, analytics are way down on my channel too, seems YT is throttling a lot of the 2A channels
Throttling and playing funny with the revenue. Sad. Thanks, as always, for watching and commenting.
Beautiful revolver! In my favorite barrel length too! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching.
I had a blued Diamondback in .38 many years ago. I loved that gun but was young & dumb. I foolishly sold it, not understanding what I had. Nice review.
I could probably do several dozen videos on guns I "foolishly sold". Thanks for watching.
Sometime in the 80's I had a 6" Colt Trooper 22 lr. Big heavy brute of a wheelgun...only 6 shots.
Your gun channel made my cut. If I owned a revolver, it would be 4". I'm still a Dirty Harry fan too.
Cool revolver 🤩👍🏼
I have this pistol as well as the Ruger, like both. Love your channel.
Thanks for watching.
Great review
As always, thank you for watching.
Such a gorgeous and slick revolver to have!! I want this one or the Smith 617. I do have a soft spot for the Colt though😍
I wish I owned this Colt - AND a Smith 617. My Ruger GP100 .22 is a nice gun, but not up to the visceral feel of the Colt or Smith. I'll have to be content to borrow this one.
Always love stainless, too bad it's a Colt. Lol
A few weeks ago I came across the newer, 6-inch version at a local gun shop and took it home with me. The gun had a couple of issues that I thought could be easily resolved. First, the rubber grips that the gun came with were too small for my med-large hands. After some searching on the internet, I could not find any extended grip, square butt replacement grips, regardless of manufacture. There were plenty of stubby, wooden round-butt offerings, but for a long-barreled revolver, that's not what I was looking for. Second, the single-action pull (for sighting-in purposes) goes off the scale on my old RCBS trigger pull gauge. I removed the side plates of my old "D" frame Diamondback and the new King Cobra for comparison. Although they are somewhat similar, they are different and I don't believe the parts are interchangeable. If the "V" mainsprings had been identical, I could've tried an old gunsmith trick that "sometimes" works, but not always. Perhaps if someone ( hint: Wolff, Brownell's, etc.) would offer a spring kit for this revolver, it would help. Lastly, I was disappointed to see that Czech-Colt did away with the excellent Accro rear sight and replaced it with a sight that requires a .050 Allen wrench (not included) for windage adjustment. Seems like Czech-Colt took a step backwards on that one. I hope to take the revolver to the range this week but my expectations aren't too high.
Thanks for watching and adding your thoughts. It seems that Colt (CZ) craftsmanship and quality control isn't what it used to be. As to the rear sight, I agree. However, there is a company that is making an Elliason-style rear sight for the King Cobra.
For the algorithm...
Everything helps. Thanks.
Beautiful revolver, but I have to save up. 😀
But I believe it is worth saving up for.
It looks like a baby Python.
$1,000 is really too expensive!
"Too expensive" is always subjective. And even with good CNC machining, there is still a fair amount of hand fitting on a quality revolver.
@@RidersRange I can’t justify the cost for the amount of use I would get from this revolver. I would rather safe up a few hundred dollars more and get the 357 Python in 3 inch as a EDC. But again it is a choice that each of us must make. Thanks for reviewing this revolver
I had a Colt 3" new model Cobra .357 magnum sure hope yours does better had to send mine to Colt 2X and never worked. Sold it. Not confident enough that the 3" Python won't be a repeat, had an origional 3" blue Python years ago but stupid (that's me) traded it.
Talk about regrets: I several years ago I sold my 1980-vintage Python - 6" royal blue, Elliason sights, original grips and box. I've been kicking my self ever since.
@RidersRange I carried my own 6 inch Blue Python .357 on duty in the 80's and sold or traded it too. If you ever meet me, you can kick me ( might hurt your foot) and can call me stupid. I know we all have guns we regret selling.
